The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.”

“I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!”

I really miss that short little girl Danica I would come in every single day with my dog and she didn’t hold up the line by any means Danica was one of the best most efficient back through Drive person I’ve ever seen I know Danica climb to be in a manager at one time and then she I guess something happened I’m not sure she took sick or something I really miss seeing that girls face I hope she’s doing good! Every time I come to the drive-through I always pray it’s Danica There! We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place”

First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. “Bravo to the staff at Max's in Grand Rapids! We went last night with 6 people, and were celebrating 2 birthdays. I had not done my research and thought we were in for a 'canned' touristy experience. I was very wrong. We were seated very close to our reserved time (highly recommend making a reservation a few days in advance). You cannot be in the bar area if you aren't 21. We were seated on the second floor, and we requested a table set apart due to hearing concerns; the booth was perfect. First, the kitchen staff must be a well-oiled machine, so much food and so unique and delicious! Our waitress Katie was excellent: quick with a smile, accommodating of special requests, seemed unflappable, and did a great job timing how our food came out (we ordered some apps, some entrees, then dessert - all to share around our table). We had alcoholic drinks as well as zero-proof cocktails, all of which were outstanding! So glad we all shared the food, as it amplified the experience by letting us taste so many different dishes. What we ordered: pupu platter and chicken satay. Then spring rolls, crab rangoons. and the ginger salad (large portion - great for family style). From the featured specials, we had the mahi-mahi on couscous with tomatoes and spinach; steak pasta with demi-glace and gorgonzola; mahi-mahi tacos; and a Caribbean jerk handheld wrap. And for dessert, the PB cheesecake and key lime pie, both light and exceptionally made. Everyone in our group raved about the flavors in the food AND how well it was made; each aspect of our experience was exceptional. We averaged about $55 per person due to the alcoholic drinks and 25% tip.”

Disappointed there was no room service for breakfast or really any real breakfast options… I had better options at the 11 Best Western properties I stayed in during a 2023 two week road trip - full buffets (eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, fruit, juice/milk, toast, bagels etc… INCLUDED as part of my reservation… ) the only breakfast option at the Amway Grand is grab-and-go cr*p… for an additional charge…from the Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter… located in the first floor of the hotel… As part of the “Curio Collection” of Hilton, and for the price of the room, I expect better. “I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!”
