He was so kind and attentive and cracked jokes with our family throughout our dinner. The food was incredible, our refills were prompt, and our service was fabulous.
I would recommend the Grandville Olive Garden to anyone, but especially with David as a server.“

She was expecting a great night out with her friends however the staff wouldn’t serve her drinks because they “couldn’t verify she was of age” even though she showed them her ID of 24 years of age. This ruined her night out with friends and forced them to go somewhere else to have an enjoyable night out. Very disappointing with how the staff handled this situation.“

“Allora delivered a really enjoyable dining experience, with a few standout moments that made the night memorable.

The scallops were cooked perfectly,beautiful sear on the outside with a tender, buttery center. Paired with the creamy risotto and vegetables, it was a well-balanced dish that felt both comforting and elevated. The wine selection was also excellent, with plenty of great options to complement the meal.

What truly stood out, though, was the service, specifically Zion. While he wasn’t our main server, he consistently checked in, refilled water, and brought dishes to the table with such a positive, upbeat energy. Every interaction with him felt genuine, and he really elevated the overall experience. It’s rare when someone leaves that kind of impression, but he absolutely did.

Brendan, who was covering for the manager, was also very pleasant and contributed to the welcoming atmosphere.

Overall, the food and drinks were very good, but it was the people, especially Zion, who made the night feel special. I’d definitely return.“

“We were there tonight for our first time. It was packed and while we were told it could be a 20-25 minute wait, we were seated in 5 minutes. Emily was our waitress. She was great! Checked in on us often and was super friendly. I ordered the Korean BBQ wings. Delicious! My fiancé ordered the Chicken Alfredo. We’ve ordered this at many places and this was one of the best! Buttery noodles with the Alfredo sauce and the chicken was seasoned perfect! We will definitely go back.“

“I thought that since there are multiple Cottage Inn locations there wouldn't be real big differences between the locations when ordering the same item but I was definitely wrong. I ordered a roma pesto pizza from the downtown location and was really disappointed overall, especially when compared to the Roma pesto that I usually order from the Wealthy st location. To start with, there was no pesto drizzle and I initially didn't think there were any Roma tomatoes at all. I did eventually discovered though that there were a few on there, but I didn't recognize them since they were burnt black and crispy and looked like maybe spinach. There was too much cheese with not enough since and the combination resulted in a very dry, bland pizza that was absolutely different than the same pizza ordered at Wealthy.“

“Hands down great food. We ordered a 2 topping pizza, manicotti and a pizza sub... and we loved it all! The sauce is delicious... the bread is great.. the crust is perfect and we all walked away raving about it. It was one of those meals you will never forget. We live an hour away but will make sure to stop by every time we are in the area! And the staff... the icing on the cake. Great and memorable experience“

“OMIGOSH. The best pizza and a community favorite. Their garlic bites are a family favorite; covered with Parmesan cheese and garlic butter, they are scrumptious! The pizza is one of our favorites in West Michigan.Owned by a Jenison Alumni makes it even better. Truly a community staple.No place to eat inside Palermo's, but that doesn't even affect the 5-star eating for us.(Seasonally, there is a delicious ice cream shop next door with tables outside (Frosty Treat; another delicious community staple).)“

“Their New York style pizza crust was a pretty good take on NY pizza, but the rest of the pie was not NY. I am not from NY but have spent my share of time on nybpizza quests in all 5 boros. This pie way too much of the mozzarella they brag about that was loaded on a sauce that has ZERO to do with the basil/ fennel sweetness of a NY pie. To serve a NY pie, you can't use a detroit sauce and it is essential to use a blend of cheeses instead of overdoing the mozzarella to the point of being the rubbery schmotz we received. Place was clean, phone order was efficient and our pies were ready when we arrived. As for detroit style pizza?... it's not my thing. In a pinch I would go to a jets again for cleanliness, service, and great attitude... but the food is not my fave“

“We visited Big O's Pizza and Booze in downtown Grand Rapids and we were not disappointed.

They had one of the best pizza slices out there. They were just finishing cooking it, so it was super fresh and hot—so hot it actually stuck to my plate and made the video even better! My toppings fell off at first, but I was able to scoop them back up and it was still delicious.

The drinks the bartender made were amazing too. She said it was just the ingredients, but I told her it’s not just the drink—it’s the bartender that makes a great drink.

If you get the chance, go check it out. They seriously have one of the best slices around. We can’t wait to go back, sit down, and try a whole pizza.“

And I'm here to tell you that Alfanos hit all of these with flying colors. Cody and Alex were our bartenders/servers. They were excellent. I had the Chicken picata and it was off the chart with flavor and presentation not to mention a healthy serving. Delicious is all I kept saying. Compliments to the chef!!!!! My goodness I can't wait to go and try something else. My husband had the chicken parmesan dinner and too was very pleased.
