“New Chef Dylan is brilliant! This is not your old lackluster Bronze Door. We have dined at all of the incarnations of this restaurant going back to the original Bronze Door in the 70s - today’s dinner was by far the best meal we have ever had there! The new menu is imaginative without being gimmicky and the execution was superb! We almost did not eat there tonight based on previous experiences but they are close to home and we wanted to dine early. So glad we did! Every dish we had was superb! So happy to know that the Bronze Door finally has a chef and menu that it deserves.“

Marrow is top shelf dining experience. My friends and I went all in with the food paring ($90) and drink paring ($45) options. Pricey but well worth it. 3 small but flavorful starters, a wonderful pear salad, a chorizo and gnocchi dish head of the main event… a 7oz flat iron steak cooked to perfection over a bed of lightly smoked and tender pinto beans finishing with a single scoop of chestnut ice cream. But that was just the food. The drinks were carefully paired with each course. 5 in total. Each one balanced bitterness, sweetness, and acid with each course. My mouth was alive as if it had been raised from the dead. It was so amazing that I forgot to mentally note each drink so I could describe them in the future.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I only wish I had met the chef and the team behind the incredible experience.

I am from Los Angeles and have plenty of great places to dine. My visit to Detroit to watch my friends compete in an indoor track bike race was punctuated be this celebratory dinner.

If you love incredible food with thoughtfully pared drinks, I cannot recommend Marrow enough.“

“I moved to SCS 5 months ago and have never been here before. My family and I have tried carryout from several restaurants and we always end up with Gilbert’s. Great food, service & prices. I had my daughters 1st birthday in their banquet room yesterday and I’m over the moon happy with how it turned out! The staff was super helpful and always around when I needed anything. The food was great, my guests raved about the pizza and spinach dip. I would book events here in the future without a doubt. We decided to try Zell's Corner based on the location and reviews, and I am so glad we did. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the corner bar atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. I’m a National guy, always have been, always will be. That Chicken Hani man, I love it. Fluffy pita stuffed with fried chicken, multiple cheeses, mayo, lettuce & tomato.

The fries tasted as good as if they brought them out to my table. Fresh pickles, on the side. Zero complaints today. Thanks for cooking dinner while I watched some football.
