“We picked up a memorial day meal today and it was honestly incredible. We got breaded fried oyster mushrooms, baked beans, collards, cornbread, and potato salad.

The mushrooms were amazing, the breading was crunchy and flavorful, the baked beans were probably the best I ever had. Also I had a vegan mac and cheese which I think it is the first vegan mac that I actually liked. My favorite was the collards, they were spicy and tangy, loved it!“

“We tried the Detroit Pepper Company tonight, first time! We went with the Detroit Stuffed Pepper, beef with parmesan cheese. Very good taste, and huge. We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. “Was traveling for a conference and someone recommended this place and I’m so glad I stopped in. Short walk from many nearby hotels. The food is absolutely beautiful and there were pastries and desserts I’d never seen or heard of and I’ve been to a TON of French bakeries. This place takes it to the next level. I even had to make another transaction after I tried a piece of the mozzarella and Zatar bread loaf because it was that good. I’m not usually that into bakery style breads but this was insanely soft and the flavor was like nothing I’ve tasted before. Wish we lived closer because we’d be back everyday!“

“Love this place when needing something extra special. They have made 2 cakes for family birthdays. Each cake inspired excitement and gave the wow factor and the taste…. Delicious! One of the cakes was a custom flavour not on their list of options, I let them know what my request was and they provided options on how they could make it work. If you are ordering try to give at least a few days notice ( I gave a week). These cakes are not something thrown together- they are custom made just for you and I imagine they take some time to plan and prepare.“
