“First time customers (7/12/2025). We needed to find a new BBQ place to satisfy our taste buds since SHEETZ is taking over 12 & Mound. WE FOUND IT. Ordered the Judges' sampler to try their variety. Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Baked Beans and Hush Puppies are ALL EXCELLENT. The Coleslaw could have been a bit creamer, but we didn't come here for veggies or salad. Loved their sauces as well. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.“

So you might be standing in line for 30 minutes with 15 other people, get up there to order and whatever you wanted is sold out. If there's huge line, i don't even bother anymore. It's only open like one day a week now, maybe two if you're lucky lol.“

Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.“

“The BBQ wings are so good! A bit dry but the seasoning definitely makes up for it. The sides are bomb too, great Mac and cheese, yams, and baked beans. The greens are flavorful but a tad bit on the salty side. The banana pudding is delicious too. Definitely going back!“

“One of the best Roast Duck, Roast Pig spot here in Madison Heights. I drive from Lansing just to come pick up roast duck or both when I really wants some or when I'm in the area I always stop by.
They also sell other meat there including cuttlefish, pig ears etc. its a small spot only for pick up and go. Price went up like everything else but cheaper then the one in Grand Rapid. I highly recommend. They only take cash.“

“Chung Ki Wa was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and authentic — every dish came out hot, well-prepared, and packed with taste. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency in the kitchen.

“I was hard-core craving Mac and Cheese Pizza only to find that nobody makes it anymore....and then I found Pizzianos. I had people recommend them before but hadn't made it over there...but now I had to! The food...omg! Delicious. I dont even have words to describe the cinnamon bread. Perfection. And on top of the food being amazing, the customer service....superb! The gentleman i interacted with was beyond friendly and informative and I am now sold as a regular customer!“

I was determined to sample something else on their menu tonight and while the hubs was figuring out what he wanted, I started to read the reviews and was a bit shocked with a few of them. I too, have a lot of restaurant work in my background and so I paid extra attention tonight. I'm happy to report that my take out experience this evening has been stellar! My call in was handled well and without issue and was ready when I went to pick it up. I only live 5 min away (if that) and the food was really warm, well packaged and delicious. Portions are generous as far as I'm concerned-these Corktown Fries are enough for two and the they don't skimp on the portions of crisp either. I am really glad I've finally been able to get to this place and I'm sure they're on my 'go-to' list from now on.“

“I ordered a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and it was DELICIOUS! The smokey flavor was excellent and the turkey was perfectly packaged and easy to heat up on Thanksgiving. Everything was ready as promised when we arrived and the staff was helpful, friendly and prompt! I will order one again next year!“

I tried the beef rib slab dinner that comes with two large sides (macaroni and yams) and two whole wings that did not make the pictures since they were devoured in the car! (I paid for one and got two, what a pleasant surprise!) I had to try the dessert, so I bought a large peach cobbler. ( I was also gifted the fried biscuits that were a 10/10).

Nita R hooked me up and really went above and beyond and made sure I would be back. Make sure you take care of her! $$$

“First time here. Tried the Chicago style. Heavy! The sauce and cheese are very good. Sauce is very robust & tomatoey and the cheese blend is more flavorful than most places. The inside is small, typical of a pizza joint. Couple of chairs and tables adequate while you wait.“

My friend had a small square meat lover's pizza, & I had a burger, potato wedges, & a pepsi. I ordered online & went to pick it up. My order was ready when I arrived, & the person who handed me my order was friendly. Our food was made correctly, & it was hot & fresh. I would definitely order from this place again when I'm in the area.“

“A group of about 10 of us stopped in on a Monday for happy hour - there was a nice crowd, music was playing, sparsely decorated. They have a great patio right on Woodward which is why we came, but it ended up raining. Although only one bartender was working, cocktails came out fast and tasted fresh and good. They have an interesting n/a mocktail made with homemade cordial and soda - I didn't try it this time, but it's good to know they have an option other than soda and lime. The aperol spritz looked good as did the spicy margarita. A good place to catch a quick drink.

They have an interesting food menu - sushi during the day and late night, and bbq for dinner. Maybe a little odd, but I remember when this place was Oslo and had the best sushi, so maybe it makes sense? I'll have to come back to try the food. Everyone working has also been really friendly, so I'd come back. An excellent location if you work downtown.“

“Great pizza, great people, great service. Nono's pizza is a little bit different than most other pizza places; the pizza is more subtle and soothing. It's not a flavorbomb going to explode in your mouth, it's a steady, relaxed, pleasant trickle of flavor, and that's a good thing. It's a refreshing change of pace. My theory is Nono's relies less on salt and sugar additives, which brings the natural flavors more to the forefront. After enjoying some of Nono's pizza, I feel more calm and relaxed than anything. “I was a 1st timer walking in. I had my mind and spirit on some REAL down south type of BBQ..I came across this place. When I walked in there was an old school gentleman whom just received his take out. I asked him was this his first time as well and he said noooooo he been coming for over 10yrs!! He suggested the ribs and potatoe salad. Now I'm VERY skeptical when it comes to people potato salad..but let me tell you..THEE BEST POTATO SALAD from a restaurant!! And them dog gone RIBS so tender and flavorful!! You can taste the real grill smoked taste..and the sauce is AMAZING!!! I will be back TODAY I had told my Mom about Nunn's and I'm bringing her here. Great customer service!!! I met the Son of the man that started it all. Keep the legacy going. It's a blessing to come across awesome food let alone SERVICE..very welcoming. Thank you“

“A tmi review but genuinely the service was amazing. Worst day i had, ordered a small cheese with pepperoni pizza with cajun crust (very good, gently crisp crusts and just enough cajun so 10/10) and a 2L of soda through Uber Eats, Didnt get the soda i wanted , they were out & i guess the uber guy disregarded my note on what to replace it with. I called, even though slightly tense (sorry) the guy was super kind over phone, apparently this Happys Pizza is closer than i thought so i walked to get it replaced and still was super kind, even offered a pie slice. On the verge of tears on xmas eve with the worst day but the service was so kind, and the pizza was good and good service needs to be acknowledged and appreciated so 10/10.“

The spot is called "Dem Noles Bois"...It's been awhile since I had a good gumbo. I've got to tell you, to my surprise, this was the best gumbo that I’ve had in years definitely five stars.
