“First time customers (7/12/2025). We needed to find a new BBQ place to satisfy our taste buds since SHEETZ is taking over 12 & Mound. WE FOUND IT. Ordered the Judges' sampler to try their variety. Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Baked Beans and Hush Puppies are ALL EXCELLENT. The Coleslaw could have been a bit creamer, but we didn't come here for veggies or salad. Loved their sauces as well. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.“

I had people recommend them before but hadn't made it over there...but now I had to! The food...omg! Delicious. I dont even have words to describe the cinnamon bread. Perfection. And on top of the food being amazing, the customer service....superb! The gentleman i interacted with was beyond friendly and informative and I am now sold as a regular customer!“

“Great food! Been here many times, and always have a good experience. However, they charged gratuity on a party of 4, so be careful. I tipped on top of their 16% added into my bill. Waitress of course didn’t mention the added cost and I didn’t notice until after the fact. Seemed odd for such a small party, but feel they should warn us while paying“

“Dude's BBQ is sick. He hooks it up with extra sides too. However, it's first come, first serve. So you might be standing in line for 30 minutes with 15 other people, get up there to order and whatever you wanted is sold out. If there's huge line, i don't even bother anymore. It's only open like one day a week now, maybe two if you're lucky lol.“

In fact, they let us use the second table for our pizza and the table we were sitting at for the pizzas that were we’re gonna eat on that table. I could recommend this place even more. Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.“

“One of the best Roast Duck, Roast Pig spot here in Madison Heights. I drive from Lansing just to come pick up roast duck or both when I really wants some or when I'm in the area I always stop by.
They also sell other meat there including cuttlefish, pig ears etc. its a small spot only for pick up and go. Price went up like everything else but cheaper then the one in Grand Rapid. I highly recommend. They only take cash.“

“The BBQ wings are so good! A bit dry but the seasoning definitely makes up for it. The sides are bomb too, great Mac and cheese, yams, and baked beans. The greens are flavorful but a tad bit on the salty side. The banana pudding is delicious too. Definitely going back!“

I was determined to sample something else on their menu tonight and while the hubs was figuring out what he wanted, I started to read the reviews and was a bit shocked with a few of them. I too, have a lot of restaurant work in my background and so I paid extra attention tonight. I'm happy to report that my take out experience this evening has been stellar! My call in was handled well and without issue and was ready when I went to pick it up. I only live 5 min away (if that) and the food was really warm, well packaged and delicious. Portions are generous as far as I'm concerned-these Corktown Fries are enough for two and the they don't skimp on the portions of crisp either. I am really glad I've finally been able to get to this place and I'm sure they're on my 'go-to' list from now on.“

“Decided to try this place for lunch today. Got the Italian calzone lunch combo with fries. The food was ready at the estimated time and was still very hot/fresh when I got it home. The calzone was a good size and great flavor. Fries were crispy. Definitely adding it to my list of go-to places. They had desserts in a display and they looked really good as well. Definitely going back to try the pizza and dessert next.“

“Such a fun spot and you can sit outside and watch Woodward right downtown, pretty rare, and wander around Parker's Alley afterward. The drinks are delicious, never had the food. The staff are all kind, and I've never been there without having conversation with a stranger. Love this place“

She knew the beers like the back of her hand and we had a great conversation about local breweries and beers we are huge fans of! Keep up the great work. “Great pizza, great people, great service. Nono's pizza is a little bit different than most other pizza places; the pizza is more subtle and soothing. It's not a flavorbomb going to explode in your mouth, it's a steady, relaxed, pleasant trickle of flavor, and that's a good thing. It's a refreshing change of pace. My theory is Nono's relies less on salt and sugar additives, which brings the natural flavors more to the forefront. After enjoying some of Nono's pizza, I feel more calm and relaxed than anything. Would recommend.“

“A tmi review but genuinely the service was amazing. Worst day i had, ordered a small cheese with pepperoni pizza with cajun crust (very good, gently crisp crusts and just enough cajun so 10/10) and a 2L of soda through Uber Eats, Didnt get the soda i wanted , they were out & i guess the uber guy disregarded my note on what to replace it with. I called, even though slightly tense (sorry) the guy was super kind over phone, apparently this Happys Pizza is closer than i thought so i walked to get it replaced and still was super kind, even offered a pie slice. On the verge of tears on xmas eve with the worst day but the service was so kind, and the pizza was good and good service needs to be acknowledged and appreciated so 10/10.“

“Support small business! Honestly being the foodie, hospitality enthusiast that I am... I highly recommend this restaurant the owner who’s also the server was amazing her daughter(about 8) was her helper and it was amazing. The food was ideally seasoned and you get the feel of the “D” with this experience. The menu was also well priced and the meal size was great. The plantain rum dip was to die for. Not to mention, proper social distancing efforts, available hand sanitizer and for you smokers... ashtray and ability to do so. I loved it and enjoyed myself. Looking forward to my next Detroit visit where I visit the Alley Deck.“

“Theirs not to many places around the city that offer a good, hardy and delicious New Orlean style seafood gumbo but, I happened to be driving around on the westside and was hungry and decided to give a new place I'd heard about from a friend. The spot is called "Dem Noles Bois"...It's been awhile since I had a good gumbo. I've got to tell you, to my surprise, this was the best gumbo that I’ve had in years definitely five stars. I definitely will be back again...I want to try the BBQ Ribs, the fried chicken wings, and for sure, the fried shrimp dinner. P.s., the Banana Pudding was on point“

“I was a 1st timer walking in. I had my mind and spirit on some REAL down south type of BBQ..I came across this place. When I walked in there was an old school gentleman whom just received his take out. I asked him was this his first time as well and he said noooooo he been coming for over 10yrs!! He suggested the ribs and potatoe salad. Now I'm VERY skeptical when it comes to people potato salad..but let me tell you..THEE BEST POTATO SALAD from a restaurant!! And them dog gone RIBS so tender and flavorful!! You can taste the real grill smoked taste..and the sauce is AMAZING!!! I will be back TODAY I had told my Mom about Nunn's and I'm bringing her here. Great customer service!!! I met the Son of the man that started it all. Keep the legacy going. It's a blessing to come across awesome food let alone SERVICE..very welcoming. Thank you“

“The food was damn good and well worth the price I will be checking this place out again the ghetto Burger was good it really didn't stand out from any other Burger but it was still good the cheesecake dessert was the only thing I did not like and honestly it didn't even taste like cheesecake was more like Frozen cake so I'll pass on the dessert but everything else that I had was damn good.“

“Oh my goodness, the food was absolutely delicious! I especially adored the bread they gave me while I was waiting for my order; it was so good and tasted like it was just freshly baked. The meat was fantastic too; I had the flo’s filet medium well (I’d suggest asking for a bit more medium next time) and the sides are great specially the mac and cheese“
