“Although had reservations and checked in early still had to wait to be seated. Hostess stated a few tables had been there 3+ hours. When extremely busy there should be a max time cap. Similar to when Covid was around. Many establishments had time limits. Also feel on a Saturday evening should be adults only. Some of the children noise was too loud. I wear hearing aids and still had a difficult time hearing my own table with the elevated noise. Otherwise everything else was great.“

“Love this restaurant! We travel from Windsor Ontario to eat here because of the great food and drink. However the best part of Troy Yard House is the staff. Namely Sara who works the bar. She is simply amazing. I marvel at how she commands the bar yet encages with each of her customers. We have been here several times and attend based on Sar's schedule. “I have gone to the Whitney every year for Christmas dinner. It was annual holidays to celebrate with my nieces. Last Christmas holiday we chose to take the buffet. I was extremely disappointed. All I wanted was prime rib. The server was not very friendly. She stared at me and I was very uncomfortable when I asked for the prime rib only. There was just a small end piece and she gave me a very thin slice close resembling lunch meat. I don’t understand since I paid for a complete meal and it wasn’t cheap. I could’ve gone somewhere else and had a wonderful prime rib dinner. The au jous was not warm, so that was very disappointing. I will never do the buffet again if it’s like last year. In previous years, I’ve attended the buffet and it was outstanding.“

“I am not a food critic. But I have the time while flying back home to reflect on dinner last night. The experience was so amazing that I had to leave a glowing review. I seldom take the time to do so.

Marrow is top shelf dining experience. My friends and I went all in with the food paring ($90) and drink paring ($45) options. Pricey but well worth it. 3 small but flavorful starters, a wonderful pear salad, a chorizo and gnocchi dish head of the main event… a 7oz flat iron steak cooked to perfection over a bed of lightly smoked and tender pinto beans finishing with a single scoop of chestnut ice cream. But that was just the food. The drinks were carefully paired with each course. 5 in total. Each one balanced bitterness, sweetness, and acid with each course. My mouth was alive as if it had been raised from the dead. It was so amazing that I forgot to mentally note each drink so I could describe them in the future.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I only wish I had met the chef and the team behind the incredible experience.

I am from Los Angeles and have plenty of great places to dine. My visit to Detroit to watch my friends compete in an indoor track bike race was punctuated be this celebratory dinner.

If you love incredible food with thoughtfully pared drinks, I cannot recommend Marrow enough.“

“What a wonderful team, food, beer, cider! We are just so lucky to have had our daughters after wedding party here at Batch. Kimberly was a pleasure to work with during the planning and day of the event.
Stephen came to meet us and was essential in making sure we had “Polish, double smoked kielbasa “ for the event. It should be on the menu full time! Everything was delicious and fresh.
The Alabama white pulled chicken, pulled pork, pretzels, smoked meats charcuterie board, fresh fruit, double smoked Kielbasa ( so darn delicious) and the Kale Cesar salad.. all finished off by our Family and guests. Everyone loved the beer selection, the food and the vibe at Batch!
We have always been supporters of Batch Brewery, now we feel like they are part of the Family.

“What a wonderful place! The menu generally consists of Wagu burgers (flawless) stellar sandwiches, pizzas (perfect), dinner and side salads (big) soup, appetizers, and a couple of entrees. All of it is incredibly good. Be sure to try the Tempura Asparagus. It’s a favorite.

Service is provided by one or two people jetting around taking care of people, and they are always cheerful, accommodating, and mindful. The atmosphere is strictly “Cheers”. Lot of folks know each other, and we often see people we e seen before. No need to dress up or dress down, either. Come as you are.

“Had an early dinner reservation with a friend who had never been to 220 Merrill before. It was a quieter time, right before the dinner rush, and we were able to catch up without any large parties or excessive noise. We both ordered the salmon, which was some of the best fish I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to medium, crispy on the outside, and it came with a sauce that perfectly complimented the potatoes and broccolini. Our server was Shannon, and he made sure we had everything we needed and also gave us the space to enjoy our dining experience. Every time we took a sip of water, there was another server going around, making sure our glasses were always full. I'm glad I could show my friend a new place, and we both agreed that we would be coming back so she could experience what it's like at night.“

The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“
