“I loved this place! Eveyone should come here! My family and I ate cheese burgers, a chicken shawarma, and a shish combo and taboula. The shish combo was amazing, the beef was very tender and had a lot of flavor, the chicken was also really good. The burger has good flavor and the chicken sandwich. “At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. You won’t be a “just another customer” ~~ You’ll be a FRIEND!“

“Ate in the lounge and had fantastic service. Lovely wood smoke smell in the place. Tried 4 different red wine between my wife and I, all terrific. The small plates we tried were all excellent. My favorite was the whipped salted cod and my wife loved the maitake mushrooms. The mains were also great, the halibut was our favorite. The sherry for dessert was great.

Overall, a surprisingly good meal with fun and knowledgeable wait staff. Best meal I e had had in a good while.“

“I order from here often for years now. My go to is the chicken stir-fry, no mushrooms or green pepper ands extra carrots. I've had the chicken pita, strips, fries, etc and everything is always pretty good. Prices are fake and you get a pretty decent amount of food. I always have leftovers. Staff has always been friendly and inviting. I recommend if you're looking for great food at the mall or even carry out for dinner.“

After speaking with them they corrected the situation and assured me it was a one time thing. I appreciate the fast response and them taking the time to talk to me.
