“Best Macdons around, everyone that works here is super friendly. They always get the food out pretty quick, and I haven't had them mess up any orders in the 3 years that I've lived here
Parking: There's the main mcdonalds parking lot accessible from 8th st, and there's a second parking lot to access the mcdonalds from Waverly“
“About the friendliest staff out of a 46 year lifetime of going to McDonald's. I'm honestly ashamed at myself for the way I acted when the app screwed my order up(not the staff🤦♂️) and the manager kept her head and continued to be kind and helpful. She deserves more recognition for the way she dealt with me, but the entire staff is amazing. The only reason I couldn't give them a 5 is becaues on a few occasions they have been extremely slow.“
“Probably the best McDonald’s I’ve been to in a long, long time. The food was hot, fresh and really well-made. You might think it should be simple for all McDonald’s to have the same quality food and that quality be high but in this day and age, I don’t find that to be true but this location for whatever reason it’s the mark.“
“This is one of the best nicest cleanest McDonald's in the state. The fryers are filtered and clean. The food is fresh. And taste good. The restrooms are clean. The whole restaurant was clean like spic and span. This McDonald's is a ten. Unfortunately our McDonald's in grand rapids range from a 3 to 7 so this was a pleasant surprise. The best McDonald's ever.“
“2025: Still an excellent McDonald's with top-notch customer service and incredibly fast service.
2024: Consistently a great McDonald's!
2023-09-02: The service went above and beyond expectations.
2023: Freshly prepared food that tasted fantastic. The tables were spotless, and the staff was exceptional.
Original Story:
I've seen my fair share of bizarre moments, but this one stands out. While at McDonald's, a woman stormed in, visibly upset and demanding to see the manager. Naturally, everyone stopped to see what was going on.
Her frustration? She had parked too close to the car ahead, and another car had parked too close behind her, trapping her in. McDonald's, trying to be helpful, brought her food out early since her order was ready before the others. But instead of leaving once she could move, she chose to park and come inside—just to yell at the manager.
You really can’t make this stuff up. It’s a reminder of the challenges fast food employees face, dealing with customers who let their bad days spill over onto them.“
