“Their food is always good.
Service? Questionable but they fix the problems.
Bear with me:
I ordered 2 happy meals. 2 $5 deals. And a double hamburger meal.
The 2 $5 meals were incomplete.
They didnt give me the nuggets for the 2 $5 meals.
When I pointed that out, the employee huffed.
The manager came, I told them I still needed nuggets.
They gave me one box of 4pc nuggets and then told me they gave me an “extra” one.
The “extra” one being the 2nd 4pc that I had ordered.
So it wasn’t actually extra.
The order ended up turning out correct, but people should count nugget boxes.
TL;DR
Solved the math problem with the wrong equation basically.“
“The McDonalds on Chicago Drive makes the best caramel ice coffee! I always order it with 4 or 5 shots of cream which lightens the coffee taste and smooths it out. Yummy! The drive thru ladies are always so friendly too.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, of course!
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface“
“The service and food here used to be terrible, and you could even hear the employees making fun of customers.
They seem to have a lot of new staff, they've improved a lot! Orders are very accurate, food is delicious, and they're very fast, if they're not too busy.“
“Was a very quiet facility, but it was also very cold inside and drafty. there was absolutely no hello, How are you doing When you walked in the door. when the lady brought the food to my table she just said it down and walked away. Never said here you go have a nice day or anything very unprofessional for a customer service facility.“
“McDonald's has great customer service and the wait is short most of the time. My food was ready within a reasonable timeframe but the rush causes them to forget items a lot and I believe that's due to short staffing. McDonald's need to do better with hiring! Get off that penny pinching budget and hire the appropriate amount of staff before you lose clientele because they are being cheated out of items that they paid for! I've seen staff doing multiple jobs which they wouldn't and shouldn't have to do, if the food chain and the appropriate amount of staff! Do better McDonald's!“
“This is my favorite McDonald’s in the Grand Rapids area and has been for decades.
- Quarter Pounder Meal - $9.79: Looked small, but was heavy and delicious for McDonald’s. It was cooked right. I ordered it without pickle and it came that way. It was filling.
- Fries (comes with the meal): My favorite restaurant chain fries. The first few were cold, but the rest were warm and delicious. Cooked just right.
- Medium Chocolate Shake - $2.10 (extra): This has changed over the years. I did not ask for the whipped topping and I assumed they started doing this at some point which is cool. The flavor was a bit more chocolate-y than I remembered it.
- Happy Meal (4 piece nugget and fries) - $4.69: My son had it and it is about what you’d expect.
- Service: I ordered at the counter and she was courteous. She got the order right and it was brought out fairly quickly. It wasn’t terribly busy, but it was over a holiday weekend.
- Atmosphere: Very clean, organized, and modernized. It has been remodeled since the last time I visited a decade or so ago. They still have a playplace (playground) with light up tables to sit and eat at in the playplace area. They have various tables, chairs, booths, benches, high tables, and so on.
- Conclusion: Still my favorite in the area.
Visited on a Friday at 5pm.“
