“OMIGOSH. The best pizza and a community favorite. Their garlic bites are a family favorite; covered with Parmesan cheese and garlic butter, they are scrumptious! The pizza is one of our favorites in West Michigan.Owned by a Jenison Alumni makes it even better. Truly a community staple.No place to eat inside Palermo's, but that doesn't even affect the 5-star eating for us.(Seasonally, there is a delicious ice cream shop next door with tables outside (Frosty Treat; another delicious community staple).)“

“I’ve visited this location a few times in the past month after not been to an Olive Garden in years. Both dining experiences here I’ve had incredible service … better than some places we’ve spent 200+ dollars at for a “fine” dining experience. Food is tasty & consistent. All of the staff were friendly & professional and the whole restaurant was spotless. Way to go OG!!“

“I took my father here for his 75th birthday and we had a great dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and classy. The food was excellent. The breadsticks we ordered for an appetizer were fresh and fluffy, and the Gnocchi Alla Russo was bright and rich. If you enjoy Italian cuisine, I'd definitely recommend Russo for a nice experience.“

“The food was great. The server was slow, and we waited 15 minutes to be greeted. She made mistakes on our order,we sent back the food, and it was corrected. Without drinks( water) for about 20 minutes as she kept saying I'll be back with that.“

“My wife went back home to visit her family in Michigan for a couple days and while there she went out for dinner with her college friends to celebrate having our first daughter. She was expecting a great night out with her friends however the staff wouldn’t serve her drinks because they “couldn’t verify she was of age” even though she showed them her ID of 24 years of age. This ruined her night out with friends and forced them to go somewhere else to have an enjoyable night out. Very disappointing with how the staff handled this situation.“

“Best pizza in GR!!!!!! Workers are always friendly and even recognize me. This place rocks and everyone should try it, whether it be for a lunch slice or that late night 11pm craving, Joes will have you covered!!!!

“Went there for an early dinner 2/1/25. There were 9 of us. The food was superb! We all had something different. And their sangria is magnificent. Our waitress was 5-star!! My husband has had calamari at multiple restaurants and said Licari’s was the best he’d ever had. Great experience.“

“Had lunch today. Our server was very sweet and very good. We ordered the lasagna and seafood Alfredo. Wonderful on all accounts. Left with leftovers. Nowadays it's hard to find a meal that tastes like your mother made it. Huge compliments to the chef!! You are missing out if you haven't stopped into this gem. “There are a lot of pizza places in Allendale. In my opinion, little Caesars and hungry Howies taste like pre-warmed cardboard. We have always had good pizza from Jets and the service has always been good. I would say they’re one of the better fast food pizza places in Allendale.“

“My husband took me out for what he still calls date night after 30 yrs. of marriage. He and I are both foodies and love going on adventures for restaurants that go a step above in both food taste, presentation, atmosphere and service. And I'm here to tell you that Alfanos hit all of these with flying colors. Cody and Alex were our bartenders/servers. They were excellent. I had the Chicken picata and it was off the chart with flavor and presentation not to mention a healthy serving. Delicious is all I kept saying. Compliments to the chef!!!!! My goodness I can't wait to go and try something else. My husband had the chicken parmesan dinner and too was very pleased. Thank you very much to our servers and the Alfanos for a wonderful date nite and dining experience 😊 we will definitely be back.“

“This particular location, like many others this winter, is very, very cold in the dining room (which was fairly clean, but clearly not used often).
We came in for lunch and got some slices to go. They were hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. No fountain drinks, but bottled pop available.
Service was great and friendly. Will definitely come back.
Parking: The bathroom needs a key from the staff to get into, but considering the high traffic area/location, I think it also helps keep the restrooms in clean condition.“

“This has been my go to for ordering pizza for a long time. Great food, never disappoints. Pretty much always right on time with what the app says for delivery. Occasionally a few minutes late, but that's what happens when you order during peak times haha. Never excessively late and the delivery drivers are always professional and courteous.“

“They just catered a wedding for our family. Food was excellent, great wait staff. Dinning in is always enjoyable. I think they have a great value for what you get.
Vegetarian options: They have a couple of options, marinara sauce, pasta, side salad and of course the bread sticks.
Dietary restrictions: I have a dairy allergy and they always accommodate me
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking right in front of entrance, everything on one level. Bathrooms is very accommodating as well.“
