“I have been here multiple times and the service has always been great, the people who work there are always incredibly kind and always have a smile on their face which creates a very welcoming atmosphere. The food is a bit on the pricier side but it is very worth it considering I would say this is some of the best chineese food I've ever had. High quality food, and good workers, a wonderful establishment.

Parking: There's not a ton of parking spots but the area doest seem to be very busy most of the time so it's easy to park

Kid-friendliness: With a pretty wide selection of food there's a good chance you could find at least 1 thing your kid likes and friendly workers makes a non intimidating environment

“My family and I were visiting the area for a Hockey Tournament, staying at a nearby hotel. We noticed the Panda Express on the way back from a morning game. We didn't have to think twice about deciding on where to get lunch, and we were not disappointed. We chose the drive thru and ordered our different meals. The food was delicious, hot and very well proportioned. The fast drive thru service went very well indeed. The next time we are in Grand Rapids for another Hockey Tournament, we will most surely support this restaurant in Kentwood. Thanks again for a fantastic lunch.“

“Tonight’s dinner at PF Chang’s was an absolute treat! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, offering the perfect setting for a night out with friends or family. As always, the staff(our server Princia) at PF Chang’s were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home.

We kicked things off with the signature lettuce wraps, which are always a crowd-pleaser. The balance of savory, crunchy, and sweet flavors in each bite never disappoints. Then, we moved on to the main courses, and let me just say, Princia's recommendation on the crispy honey chicken was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness that wasn’t overpowering.

Another standout was the Mongolian beef, which had the perfect combination of tender beef, savory sauce, and caramelized onions. Each dish was bursting with flavor and showed true mastery in balancing textures and spices.

What really blew me away, though, was the dessert — the Great Wall of Chocolate. Rich, decadent, and indulgent, it was the perfect way to end a truly memorable meal.

Overall, the entire experience was flawless. The updated menu at PF’s has truly taken the classic PF Chang’s flavors to the next level, while still maintaining the dishes that make this restaurant a go-to. As a food enjoyer and having travelled to Asia for work previously, this place is as close as I’ve found in west Michigan to the great, complex flavors of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan, etc. Get in here and give it a try. “This restaurant is a family favorite! We have been dining here for over 8 years and even held our rehearsal dinner here! Moon is an outstanding person and greets us every-time we visit. Several family and friends we send her way to try the food. Always fast,fresh and very large dishes! We end up with so much left over we make a few lunches out if it :) our daughter loves the lo mien and she's a very picky toddler :) so good! Never disappointed and very friendly personable staff!“

“They are a little bit expensive I will say but you do get a lot of food for the price you pay, also the food is enough for two people and even have some left overs. First time trying them out and definitely was not disappointed at all. Very friendly, customer service was great and the lady who took our order was really sweet. Didn't take long at all for us to get our food, there are fast and prompt. Everything we ordered was all correct didn't have any issues. “My mother in law and her boyfriend turned my wife and I on to Fu Garden. All the meals we've ordered have been delicious. And most orders are ready for pickup within 15 minutes. So from the time I order and drive from my home in Standale, the food is ready. I'd recommend Fu Garden over a lot of Asian cuisine restaurants in my area.“

“There is a reason this place has won awards. Everything was so good! I had the chicken fried rice, and it was the BEST I've ever had! The chicken was a little fried but not overly-so. There was more veggies in it than I'm used to--and I really liked that! The crab rangoons and egg rolls were perfect, the egg drop soup delish and veggie loaded as well. Excellent! Our waitress Mandy was so sweet, she stayed on top of our beverages and boxed everything up for us to take home. Thank you for everything!“

“I ordered the Mongolian Beef combination meal. Even though I ate in, I had to order from the front counter and the food was served in to-go packaging. I was left to get my own eating utensils and condiments. They have a VERY small selection of canned or bottled sodas. The first thing I noticed was that the gravy had been overthickened with corn starch/arrow root powder to the point of being gelatinous. In addition, the beef was of a consistency of having been way to tough to start and severely overboiled to tenderize it. Other than these issues, the depth and quality of flavor easily overcame the previously mentioned shortcomings. The amount of heat was perfect. Sadly though, no fortune cookies are included in the meal. If it hadn't been for the great flavors, I would have rated my visit with three stars instead of four. It is also the reason that I would go back and try other menu items. Next time I will avoid the beef and order chicken.“

Awesome, small, tucked away gem that your friends will want to know about.
Great food. Fresh veggies. Great prices. The filled buns are a freaking awesome meal by themselves but not on the menu.

English maybe worse than mine, but be patient and understanding. It's well worth the effort.

“I decided to order food here because I saw that their lunch menu was very affordable and I’m a broke college student working downtown for the summer. I got the beef and broccoli order with the side of chicken fried rice- I just took my first bite and it’s wonderful! The flavor is awesome in the rice, beef and vegetables and my order came with an AWESOME amount of food as well! It was ready for me to pick up only 15 minutes after I called to order.

Look at the picture I’ve provided, I got all of this for a little less than $12! I will absolutely be coming again and getting my lunches from the Hong Kong Express! :)“

The food isn’t greasy like other places I’ve been and there’s always quick service - though I’m not a fan that they pick their own hours to work as any time I call when their website says they’re open, no one is there. After 12:30p seems to be the best time. I placed a take away order and had to call back as I realized I left my car keys in a friend’s car. She kindly said she’d hold my order. I used to go to other places in GR and they were fine, but Grand Lakes Chinese takes the cake. I know the moment I take a bite of the beef lo mein my day will get 100% better. “Absolutely superb pho, the best I've had in a long while!
This little restaurant is clean, accessible and parking is right out front. The place doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside, but don't be fooled, the food is outstanding.
My personal favorite is chicken pho with beef broth, (tastier than with just chicken broth IMHO) the add-ins are very fresh, service is fast and friendly.
Give this eatery a try, it might just become one of your faves, too!“

“So this review is just for take out, I've never eaten in. I've been satisfied with everything I've ordered. Chinese food is hard to review, because everyone has their preference. But I've ordered Chinese food from restaurants that cost twice as much, and tasted the same or worse. I was bummed that China Garden didn't have teriyaki chicken. But their BBQ chicken (I just like saying "chicken on a stick") is so crispy in a good way, that I want all my "chicken on a stick" to be like theirs! Also, they were open in a massive, everyone shut down everything, snow storm. So, I'll drive out of my way to go here.“

“I recently discovered this place on accident. I've been here three times now and this may be my favorite new sushi restaurant in the area! The portions are decent compared to other locations, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. The two gentlemen that run this location are extremely nice and very friendly. Did I mention the food!? They have the best sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi I've had recently. This is my new local area go-to for sushi, driving over from Wyoming! If you're in the area check it out, if you're not it's worth the drive! ?“

“Love service here, this is a go to place for lunch while at work. hostess remembers me, gives me space when needed or will engage in conversation. Most don't speak English but a select few do. All I have to say is don't piss off the hostess, I've seen her be a force to reckon with. Food is great! Price is fair.“

“I love this place! I’ve never had a bad experience here with the service or the food and the food is consistently good and doesn’t leave you with a “heavy” feeling afterwards. My favorite items are the Crab Rangoon, which is fried perfectly and stuffed with the right amount of crab cheese. Too much or too little filling would ruin it so these are perfect! The Orange Chicken with white rice is my favorite and you can’t go wrong with the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce as it’s amazing as well. I love that they also include the tea. Some places charge for it separately.

Between the nice and welcoming customer service to the delicious food that is served, this is definitely a place I recommend if you’re ever passing through the area.“

“It was our first time trying the DimSum here. It was pleasant. For 5 people we got a decent amount of food and it was only 100$!!! I recommend getting the roast duck with some Chinese broccoli on the side. A lady served us and she’s pretty nice. Don’t know why their rating is low but it was good!“
