Their turkey seems to have gone up in quality.

“This restaurant came recommend to me as the best steakhouse in Grand Rapids. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly (Kathryn) and answered all my questions. The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. “Boardwalk has been my go to sub spot for over a decade. Unfortunately I moved to a different state now, but anytime I'm in Grand Rapids I find my way here.
Their menu is great, but one of my favorite things to do is just walk in and have whoever is helping me create their favorite or experiment. This particular evening Kayla and Grace did not disappoint and gave me a great take on their turkey & prostini.

“I am super disappointed in the change that this Chick-fil-A has made to their drive-through. They have the mobile through that was super convenient. But now it doesn’t matter if you use mobile through because they emerge everyone into one lane and you could end up behind four people that pulled in after you. So there’s no point in using the mobile through anymore. Except that you don’t know until you turn the corner which lane you wanna be in. And by then you’re stuck. Again super frustrating.“

“Today, my dad and I chose Olive Garden for dinner. We had the amazing service and experience. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were amazing smiles all around. I had the opportunity to talk with the manager Jenica very pleasant helpful said Hello to everyone I was so well pleased with the service I asked how do I contact the general manager to my surprise she happened to be in the building her name was Tara Champion just as amazing Jenica this staff know how to work and Win as a team you know you have amazing staff when your manager and general manager is just as great as their staff they executed excellence in the highest over and beyond my expectation great atmosphere food great price and lots of laugh job well done the owner needs to do something amazing for this staff today I applaud you for a job. “Out running errands and stopped in for dinner. Had the Smokehouse BBQ with crispy filet, it was really good (unfortunately it's seasonal). Staff is always friendly and the facility is always tidy and clean. (Full disclosure, my wife works there 😁).“

“Im Happy to say Mcalister's didn't disappoint... almost.

First and foremost. This place is better than the Penera across the street. I'll die on that hill.

Secondly their food is amazing for sit down. And am yet to complain when I dine in. Truely 5 star experience if I say so myself for a deli shop.

Third... the drive through needs work or a new order of operations to keep food FRESH throughout the process.. what do I mean by this? I have only had issues when going through the drive through. Soggy toast. Messy sandwiches falling apart. And the most recent one of French dip sauce being half put on and thrown into a to-go bag just to have it spill over my fiancé's WHITE gaming chair apon opening. I wish I had took pictures but im telling it for what it is.

Final thoughts:
Overall ill settle for 4 stars but cannot give 5 until they fix the drive through situation. Not quite sure if there is a process that can be adjusted to ensure toast doesn't get soggy, loose items won't spill or leak, and food doesn't feel like its been sitting for 30min wrapped heavily in wrapper for steam to soggy it all up. I know a deli has a lot to keep up with. For them to have a drive through is great! Perfect for people on the go quickly. But all i have to say is I'd rather sit down when I can- every time.

The customer service while dining in is unprecedented with any other location I can think of. Everyone is so nice and very quick to help anyway possible to ensure your experience is up to their standards. The staff are doing very well. Especially the lunch crew as of this date. The evening crew seems to lack a little bit of coordination from what I can see by prospecting. But none the less the service was the same.

The atmosphere inside is somewhat homely. What i mean by this is- as a 2000s kid growing up and listening to the radio with my dad was a big part and their music selection and over all inside vibe is great, relaxing, and perfect to unwind with the family and enjoy some fresh deli products.

“Stopped by Zoup for a quick dinner at 5pm. The inside was clean and I was greeted as I entered the door, which I always appreciate. A young man took my order and brought my food to me at my table, which is great service.

I got the loaded baked potato, which was very good. Though it seemed like some of the potato had started to melt and made it a little ticker than I would like, but not enough to spoil it.

Overall, decent food, good service and not terribly expensive. Always good for a quick lunch or dinner!“

I click redeem, choose item, add to order but when I go to check out, there is still a total. Today I went in the restaurant, scanned the item & it did not come off the order. Luckily the manager was kind enough to refund me what I wanted to redeem but that should not have to happen.“

I am not a review writer ever but wow, I’m a sucker for good customer service and the manager at this location goes above and beyond. John G. Embodies customer service to a tee. This man told my friend and I with our kids a couple weeks ago about the kids eat free Tuesdays and the following week we were there. This man took the time to bring our kids stickers, after his shift took a few extra mins to check in and make sure we were enjoying our food and then he said the line that every single mom wants to hear, as we were all staring at the mess our kids made this man says “don’t worry about cleaning up, that’s why you come here right? “I came in today and got a window seat to enjoy a cup of coffee. This location is so noisy, and the speaker right above me was blaring music at about 74 decibels. I don't think the employees in the back are aware of how loud the sound is when you are sitting underneath the speakers. I am having to leave because the volume was a serious annoyance. I asked twice for them to turn it down, and it's still just as loud: 74 decibels. Hearing loss starts at 75 decibels. Since the pandemic all restaurant have been playing music way too loud. 55-60 decibels is plenty loud enough for background music. Background music should be exactly that, background.“
