“This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. I’m definitely coming back just based off of how good their hash browns looked. 10/10. Definitely coming back!“

“We had a phenomenal experience at Lena. We sat at a high top right along the kitchen. The staff was truly exceptional. Nolan and Mike were great and the chefs were beyond knowledgeable and friendly. We had the tinned fish, perch and clams. Everything was fabulous! Unfortunately we did not take any photos but will certainly be back and would highly recommend.“

“The Ham Shop truly feels like a hidden gem in Detroit, and I’m so glad I stumbled across it! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The food came out fast and hot, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. And I HAVE to mention the lemon rice soup, SO GOOD, I had to make a request to have one to go!

The owner was also incredibly friendly and personable. He took the time to chat and made the whole experience feel so welcoming and personal.

We waited for a bit before our orders were taken. But the server was very professional. To took very great care of us. Was very apologizing for our wait. He may our visit well worth it. “Here at Byblos for the second time. Byblos serves authentic Lebanese food. Let me begin by saying that the owner is such an awesome guy. I came to the establishment on Sunday when they are actually closed and they still served me a wonderful beef sandwhich. The beef is seasoned very well and it is amazing. So amazing, I had to come back for more. On my second visit, they exceed all expectations with a beautiful chicken and rice platter with salad, hummus, and pita bread. I have had a lot of Mediterranean dishes and Persian dishes in my lifetime to say that Byblos by far has the best hummus I have ever had. The chicken and rice are such a healthy and delicious combination that is not heavy. Many other establishments use too much oil that it can feel too much. Honestly, the portions delivered are enormous. I am having trouble finishing it. Not one aspect is not overflowing. May God bless your restaurant!“

“I had breakfast at Nanas kitchen this morning. After eating, talking with company I noticed the cook wasn't wearing gloves while handling the food. He handled bacon, wiped his hands on his apron, proceeded to grab his phone and coffee and talking to customers. Not washing hands before returning to handling food. Another cook also started, no gloves, while grabbing bacon, pile of hash browns with 2 hands, in-between grabbing the trashcan from under the counter. The service and food was good but seeing the above grossed me out. Waitress was told but, said she would say something but I continued watching the cook handling food with no gloves until we left.“

The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like.
