“Our first visit was tonight. We had the Sexy Bacon roll and the Papa Crema roll, as well as the firecracker shrimp appetizer. The dishes were works of art, with amazing combinations of flavors and textures. Our drinks were just iced water with lemon, but even the lemon was extra fragrant with big, generous slices. So delicious. And our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Will be back for sure.”

“Coming from the east coast I’ve had many opportunities to experience wonderful restaurants and service but this place was exceptional. It is in the customer service and how the staff threads in kindness throughout their actions. It’s subtle and should be watched for. It’s the little things that expand good service to great service and this is a very impressive group. Beyond that the food and wine were better than expected.”

“I recently dined there and had seared salmon with pomegranate seeds on a bed of black rice with cauliflower purée, and the most scrumptious carrots. This is one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. The sear on the salmon was absolute perfection.”

“Was so busy people were huddled in their vestibule aka front door 🚪 was so busy they shut down the online ordering was shut down and the port dude at the curbside 🚪 was running around in the controlled chaos. However I do have a tiny little issue. When you order a salad 🥗 for example inside it's a big platter full of goodness but I ordered to go it was far less sized yet paid full and same price but was almost half sized smaller. so 🤔 was I ripped off? Or is this normal for to go orders?”

“Our food and service was amazing. We didn’t feel out of place at all with our young family of five. Our server was wonderful. She was attentive and kind. The food was quick out of the kitchen and delicious! Definitely a hidden gem.”

“Will not go again. This is a steak house and after making three attempts to make a filet mignon steak correct, still all three were mushy, gray, not seared and unable to cut. Ordered medium rare and never came back that way. Lobster tails sent out under cooked had to be sent back. Not charged for meal but made a special dinner not enjoyable. Our server was excellent.”

In town today, came for my favorite drink, great service and friendly conversation with the owner Brett. This is still one of my favorite cups of coffee ever. (I’m an Americano guy.) So glad Espresso Milano is still here, to me it’s a quintessential independent coffee shop.”

“All I can say is WOW! Very satisfied from the first phone call to the delivery. We had two pasta bundle plus a couple of extra trays for a party of 20 delivered to our house (not in their delivery area but accomodated us) Food was excellent and reasonably hot considering the distance it traveled. Everyone enjoyed the food and the best part was Grandma didn't have to cook!! This experience just added to our family Christmas day. Would do it again, as would our kids. Thank You Very Much”

High quality coffee that stands out from other shops in the area. Parking lot is extremely easy to use and I like the close parking and they have a drive thru. Clean bathroom is a plus”

“Delicious Delicious Delicious!!! Our team was absolutely thrilled with every item we ordered for our tenant event at the East End building here in Midland! We had less than two weeks to get this party off of the ground and their kindness and ease took some of the stress off! We had cake pops, ginger bread cookies, chocolate and snickerdoodle cookies, oh and decorated Christmas sugar cookies, and macaroons! I don’t have a picture to post my boss took them and forgot to get from her but we were thrilled. I just finished eating my snickerdoodle and it was so buttery and delicious! Please book with these ladies! You will not be disappointed!! Thank you all so much for helping us pull off our tenant soirée!”

I did see a waiter that's not the bar tender once but even that was maybe a little understaffed for such a busy lounge. Buffalo sauce was quite salty and spicy btw, warning to those ordering. Other menu items are good.”

“Located on Northwood University Campus. What a great little hideaway and right on the Rail Trail. Most are unaware this hotel is open to the public. Clean rooms and at affordable price. It is a great guest experience while you get to help students learn their skill sets. I stay here every time I am in town. Nice and quiet.”

Just something to keep in mind if you are going at night.”

“I'm one of the rare few that don't eat seafood but absolutely love LJS chicken and sides. I was pretty disappointed that the chicken pieces are less than half the size they use to be with the prices being twice as much which the cost I expect to increase due to inflation but the quality shouldn't lower. My 12$ meal did not come with a drink and there was no crunchies!
However, I love their new waffle fries and my service was beyond excellent. The staff was friendly and fun to joke with and very accommodating to my demands for a bucket ton of tarter sauce. 🤣”

“Wish they had their own fountain drink station with the normal Subway drinks available. They share their fountain drink station with the gas station that they are inside of. Usually, half that station isn't working so there's very few choices. They've worked a little on their eating area making it so more people can eat there, but it would be nice to have more comfortable seating with chairs and tables instead of hard benches. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious and made correctly so I can overlook most of the other issues.”

“We eat at jets a lot. Lately we have noticed a decline in quality. We all know jets is not cheap but it’s worth it. Well this time not so much. We called and talked to “shift manager will” and was told we had to drive to the other end of town to show them because he “knew for a fact these were cooked right”. If this is how jets is now then no one should ever eat there. He was extremely rude and condescending. We had it delivered because we couldn’t go pick it up ourselves. Jets you are unacceptable and there is plenty of competition to avoid you for the foreseeable future.”
