“March.2024I went for lunch on a weekday after 11 o'clock. The store is almost full! It seems like a very popular shop. The first soup that came out had just the right amount of sourness and was delicious!I ordered Angel Noodle. Curry-flavored flat noodles. I also liked that you could choose from 7 levels of spiciness.I also had a good impression that all the store staff were kind and had good customer service. It was delicious and I would like to come back again.“
“Always excellent food and service. We love China Cafe’. I recommend you start the Street Wings and Ahi Tuna wontons, then for dinner you can’t go wrong with Palace Beef, Bangkok Sole, Fire Cracker Shrimp, or Short ribs with Traditional Fried Rice. Great cocktails and wine selections too. Enjoy!!“
“I didn't eat here. Call ahead to have full menu options according to their sign on the door. Hours of Operation aren't correct either. But, in my opinion it's places like this that are going to be amazing. I cannot wait to execute this operation with better preparation next time because everyone around there says it's amazing and worth the extra steps.Every penny they charge goes into food prep and quality. Not a fancy exterior; just doing what you pay them to do. This will be a gem, I guarantee it.“
“Great tasty food that they really put effort into. I ended up getting my "appetizer" after my main, but it was only because they had to make the app from scratch, and it just took longer than my noodles. The older gentleman who i think runs the place was super friendly and polite and honestly was nicer to me than my family is sometimes. A great place to eat in a slightly awkward location to get to.“
“Oh I wish I wasn't so full when I went. My fiancée wanted some Asian cuisine and recommended this place. I was worried at first but let me tell you this place is a gem. Delicious and bountiful foods, very relaxing atmosphere, great decor, comfy seating, and very kind service. Next time I'm coming here on an empty stomach!!“
“I highly recommend this place and it was the best Chinese I've had in years! Got a pickup order on a Saturday night. The dinner specials are affordable and are HUGE portions. We got a sweet and sour chicken special and a kung pao chicken special. Both for less than $30 total for 2 people and we could have fed another human being comfortably. Both specials come with soup and an egg roll (and you can swap the soup for another egg roll). Wonton soup was amazing. Egg rolls were some of the best I've ever had. Kung pao chicken was great. Sweet and sour chicken came with the sauce on the side so the chicken was still crispy and fresh. Again, HUGE portions for both. I finished the king pao and while I didn't regret it in the moment at all, I will regret it when I check the scale tomorrow. Inside looked nice, our pickup order was done early and it was easy as pie picking up. No long wait or anything. Only negative of the entire meal was that the sweet and sour sauce that came on the side had a very odd taste to it - almost like it was a little past due. Hopefully they get a new batch in ASAP.“
“Should be more clear that it's carry-out only. Hard to get that sense from browsing the pics. That said, the food is great and the service is speedy and attentive. I got the curry Pad Thai which was excellent. Food container was stuffed to the brim, which I appreciate. If your in the area and looking for quick take out, I'd recommend them. ??“
“Not familiar with Michigan Chinese food as I’m not from here but stopped by this place and it is a gem. Food is decently priced, you can tell the orange chicken was freshly battered and we even received free soup on a snowy day. The man at the register was very friendly. Definitely recommend.“
“Had a great combination of Chinese and Sushi with the family. Rolls were tight and balanced, cuts of sashimi cuts were great with a good texture, and Chinese had good flavor without being too greasy.Service was fast and friendly, and prices are reasonable. Can't wait to come back.“
“Had a great experience here. Anytime I get Chinese food, its always a questions of - how is the egg drop soup, how is the crab ragoon, and of course the entree. I'm happy to report they are the best I've had south of Genesee county! The service was fast and accurate. My only complaint would be that they are a bit expensive compared to the competition. In their defense however one combination dinner is nearly big enough for 2 adults. Recommended.“
“Boon Kai had always been one of my favorite restaurants!! I still enjoy the food, but it depends on what I am getting. The chicken fried rice was fantastic! But it seems like the dinner rolls have changed in taste and I’m just not keen on them. I’m also not a fan of the sweet and sour sauce anymore. Very friendly and fast service though!“
“This take out place punches above it's class. It's hard to hit all three areas and I think they do a great job with price, portion, and taste. I usually order the Orange chicken, egg roll, and fried rice. Chicken is nicely breaded and sauced with nice chunks of orange and veggy. They get a really nice fry on the rice as well. Keep up the great work!“
“Been looking in Novi area good Chinese place that is open for lunch. So glad I found this place. Best chicken egg foo young and fried rice that I've ever had. Same can be said for their hot and sour soup. Generous portion and great flavor! Visited for second time today even though bit of a drive from my office. But totally worth it!“
“fantastic chinese food considering its obscure location. if you want some authentic southern chinese cuisine and you speak chinese or know the chinese name of the dish -- ask the owners to make it even if it's not on the menu. this is a family business that has been here forever, feeding the local community at a very reasonable price. the service is great in its own style. the ambiance is pretty much the same as any other chinese restaurant -- simple, effective, and it never disappoints when you just need that bite. love it!“
“Probably one of the most underrated Chinese take out around... Family owned and worked. They have have a different take on some of your favorite asain dishes. You should definitely try the chicken chow mein or the sweet and sour pork. And as of as it sounds there rice is some of the best I've had.“
“This place is pretty good. You get a good amount of food (and I’m greedy) and it’s not salty. The food isn’t overcooked and I like the fact that if you spend over $30 you spin their wheel and get freebies. The service is always pleasant in my experiences. I’ll DEFINITELY keep getting my shrimp and broccoli from here!“
“I had errands to run nearby and stopped in to place an order; the establishment was extremely crowded and understaffed. Yet, although business was really busy, I chose to dine in. It amazed me how the staff handled well such a day. I own a restaurant and understand the situation, also hearing the turmoil of a disgruntled patron made me want to acknowledge and applaud the staff for the dedication they put into their job. The food is also flavorful, I had tom yum soup and Drunken noodles.“
“First time going here and we were impressed with the cleanliness, decor and ambiance. Wait staff was prompt, very courteous and friendly. The food was very good and the portions were huge for the price (which was reasonable). We will gladly go back again !“
