“Between doctor appointments, a friend & I had lunch at Olga’s Kitchen, located in Woodhaven, MI, yesterday. The food was really good & Sabrina, our server was excellent. We received some of the best service I have ever had and I wanted to recognize her. Sabrina was very personable and very, very attentive to our needs. Due to illness I am unable to get out very often and she made this a most enjoyable Olga’s’ experience. Thank you Sabrina, are an asset to your employer!“

People who came after us were served. This second visit we had a sandwich and an omelette. There was no reason to wait 25 minutes for the food. We were really considering leaving. Then we were going to take some food home but since our waitress didn’t come by, we decided to just pay and leave. We’ve been going to Pipers for many many years, but after the service we received the last two visits, it will be awhile before we come back. This is sad because the food is really good. The restaurant only had 5 tables with people and there were 4 or 5 people hanging around the register.“

The Bierhaven was able to accommodate my large group at the last minute. The staff were great and professional and the food was amazing. After we left the restaurant, my son left cash, visa gift cards and other items behind. We didn’t realize we left these items behind. The Bierhaven found my son on Facebook and reached out to him to get these items back to him. Most places or people would have pocketed the cash and gift cards, but they didn’t. The veal in the dish wasn't a processed patty but actually veal...would recommend. Hubs had lasagna, thought it was ok, liked that they used ricotta and cottage cheese...he still likes mine better...for those that are anti-green pepper in tomato sauces, this had zero, which I liked...would definitely recommend the veal parm and the zucchini, can't speak for the hubs...and the lasagna but it sounded like he'd get it again, he was really wanting the Swedish meatballs and they were out“

“I'm in the search of the best Reuben. So far Joy's has an edge other places I've eaten at since visiting Monroe. The meat thickness was good, the sauerkraut has good placement being in the middle and I love it when the sauce is on the side so you can add as little or as much as you want. All in all I would say they have the best so far.“
