“Was driving between Detroit and Cleveland and decided to stop here on a whim. It's a very local dive bar that is very unassuming from the outside. Waited a bit to be served but once I was served, the service was fantastic. Ordered a burger and clam strips. Burger was great value, $9 with all-inclusive toppings. Food came out a little slow but I wasn't in a rush. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and watched a football game while I waited.
Overall, I'd recommend coming here for the cheap food and friendly atmosphere.“

“Regular customer here, the food is always great! In fact I just had a chef salad and it was the best I've had up to date. The only place I've found where the meat- veggie ratio was perfect. I had a bite of meat with almost every bite AND I didn't have to pay extra for extra meat. The service is always amazing and we're always excited to go back. I'd HIGHLY recommend Verna's!“

“I was just there got got my food tipped the waitress that took care of me behind the bar pay for some music that I wanted to hear and she just kept it to play more country. I haven’t been there in a while and I wanted to enjoy a burger and some music, but yeah, you should tell him not to skip people’s music, especially when they’re sitting at the bar you gotta check her out make sure she doesn’t start skipping people‘s music because again I love you guys haven’t been there in a while and my music got skipped for a different song that was related to country. I might be back. I might be not but yeah, I miss you guys, but yeah, tell her not to do that again I’m kind of annoyed, not gonna lie irritated at the most and the sad part is, she didn’t even refund my money. I don’t care about the two dollars. It’s about the principle of all that matters don’t get people songs and then get an attitude when you tell him why do you skip my song.“

“They get their food from across the street which is fine because it's good food you just have to wait a little longer to get it. They have a large variety of cocktails and are willing to modify them in any way you want. It's a little bit pricey but one of my favorite bars in Monroe.“
“Absolutely fantastic old school bar. Friendly patrons and a friendly owner. It is a great place to hang out and have a few beers. Lots of history; the building turns 100 this year. Cash only and no food, so be prepared. I will definitely come back here.“

“This place is a total dive, but in the best way possible! The Redneck Riviera is a hole-in-the-wall joint with a heart of gold. The beer is cheap, the music is loud, and the crowd is a mix of locals and out-of-towners looking for a good time. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, have a few drinks, and forget about your troubles. If you're looking for a no-frills, good-time bar, this is the place to be.“

“Came in tonight for a girls Christmas party. Our waitress did amazing with so many women coming in at different times. She was attentive and made sure our drinks never went dry. She had just came back from a leave and with a new system, and a system error, she never acted stressed. I’m so happy we had our party at @sneakys again this year.“

“Everything I’ve had on that menu, which is more than a dozen things is absolutely delicious and I’ll keep going back with friends and family. Never be the person that once they have something they don’t really like or something went wrong, and make that your last try. Nothing and nobody is perfect.“

“Want to give a review for Chloe S. I came in with my grandparents and niece along with my 2 children, 3yrs. old and 8 weeks old. She sat us outside under the awning and was a great experience. Showed the kids a lot of attention and made sure we were all taken care of coming out and checking on us consistently. BTW the food was great!“

“Longbranch Saloon is a bar you'd want to visit time and again as the atmosphere is above average for your typical dive. It has a history of being a rough scene however that is now inaccurate, it is very inviting and the bartenders are attentive and engaging. Definitely put this on your radar, you won't be disappointed!“

“The Open Faced Prime Rib sandwich, was the best I have had since Red Wells closed their doors. The meat is so flavorful. My waitress Karley who was the sweetest thing, told me they slow roast the meat then slice it. We had the Hocus Pocus Marg flight. Sooo cute and so yummy. The place is gorgeous.“

“Watch out for the 15% card charge. Been going here for a while and now they charge for tax and a 15% charge for using a card. An 11$ or so fee on a 72$ tab is ridiculous. Won't be back.“
