“I called my order in .for pickup April 16,2024. Everything was delicious. ,fresh. Sweet and sour chicken combination plate, sesame chicken combination plate, chicken foo young. I do not know who made the food on April 16. But I would like to thank you and the young lady who answered the phone.“

I immediately called and complained about my meal. If it was not foggy and night .I would have drove 10 miles and returned my ordered. I will go to a Chinese market and cooked my own food. Nothing is better than your cooking your own food. Customer cook your own !“

“I received an order via Uber Eats. The food was wonderful! What made my order more appealing was the fact that I ordered the Butter Cake which included a Carmel sauce and Vanilla Bean ice cream and someone in the kitchen made sure to put the ice cream in a container which they placed in a bag of ice. Everything was perfect!“

“Every time I have come to this establishment I’m always greeted kindly at the door, the atmosphere is definitely nice and relaxing and there are a lot of people usually in there.

Lastly the food is amazing! My go to is the Pepper Steak and onions/peppers, popcorn chicken and white rice. Today 1/31 it was extremely exceptional.

On top of just being nice, the lo mein was so good and flavorful! The chicken is thinly sliced so it soaked in the sauce and not dry. Great portion size for what you pay. It seems like the average take-out spot, but the good service and generosity makes it a stand out. Love giving good people business.“

“Best Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered the general tsos, beef chow fun, and sautéed yu Choi. This was the best general tsos I’ve ever eaten. You can choose a spice level for it, too. The beef was deliciously flavored and perfectly cooked. The Yu Choi was fresh and so delicious. The portions are huge and the woman who took the order was so patient and friendly with us. The General Tso is always great! My kids love the sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. We recently tried the Hong Shui Gai and Moo Shui - both were great. I was a little bummed they served it with tortillas instead of the spring pancakes but it was still delicious! Hot mustard sauce is also a big hit in our house and has a the perfect level of spice!“

Went back there because the only place that I had found where I live now, and the Chinese food was really good, closed down shortly after covid. We spent a fabulous day in the snow yesterday. Layered up we ran a few errands and then headed to Johnny King Noodle on Fort St in Detroit. We saw the view of the Detroit River and The Ambassador Bridge and headed in to have some much needed Hot Lunch. Johnny King noodle has a large menu of Ramen and Rice Bowls. Delicious 😋. The best part is they have a kiddie noodle 🍜 that's not on the menu. They also have a Dorm room noodle 🍜 bowl that the youngsters can create their own bowls. Saves me the headache of picking through what everybodues likes are.
This was a big hit. We smashed that hot broth and 🍜 🍝 like we had a straw. Except it was chop sticks. Which is another culture experience for my grands to learn. How to use chopsticks. The 4yr old really did a good job with her chopsticks. I was impressed! Anyway, I could talk for paragraphs about this quaint little Jewel but I'll just post a Pic. We ended our day cheering on The Avatar Fire and Ash as it was the cap of our Snow Day Outting. Thank you to our waiters and the cooks they were kind and thorough. I really enjoyed the day. 😌 😌

“I’ve been trying to find good Chinese food for a few years now. I live downtown on Jefferson and I don’t like the 2 located near Belle Isle.

I only ordered shrimp fried rice because I didn’t want to be disappointed.

My fried rice was perfect. The rice was a tad bit chewy but it had a great flavor which tells me it was made in a well seasoned wok. The shrimp actually had a little flavor to them. Most places the shrimp just taste boiled. I love egg foo young so I’ll be back to try that next time“

“Mays is a goto for me!!! I’m in love with the King Ka Lee I believe. It’s the yellow curry with rice, chicken and potatoes. Perfect for a winter day. The food is always cooked fresh and you can watch them cook it. It’s really fast I like to order when I get there because it only takes a real 5 mins. And I add a Thai tea for the spice. Ima medium + spice kinda guy. If you want to go crazy add mushrooms.“
