I couldn't be more pleased with the excellent customer service and quality of the food we receive every time. I send the owner a fairly complicated spreadsheet, and he bags the sandwiches by school for me to make distribution much easier for me. Each order is marked and 100% accurate. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. I place similar orders at different universities several times a year, and this is the ONLY place that is consistent and accurate. It's a true pleasure dealing with this location.“

“TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I saw the review about the lady that has the double vasectomy claiming the employees tried fighting her and called her the word with the hard R. I was there while this situation happened, not only did the young lady (I believe her name was Lina?) not say that word, she was also quiet calm and collected until the customer started harassing the entire staff. The customer asked for extra onions, the young lady said I put extra on there and the customer asked for more, the young lady said ok. After cashing out the order the customer than claimed that she felt she was disrespected and that she wanted to talk to a manager about the staffs attitude. I told her to just call corporate and complain because I was next and I wanted to cash out and leave. The customer decided to escalate and call the staff trashy and young kids with no respect. The customer was way out of line, and she started bringing up “the customer is always right” . That’s not true. I own multiple businesses and the customer is not always right, Especially when you start disrespecting staff. Anyways I’ve been here multiple times and Delon (I believe his name, the man in the picture) and the rest of the staff are so dang friendly. Very very fast, and very respectful. It’s a shame that grown women would lie just to try to get a free Sandwhich. JERSEY MIKES ON 12 and mound, THE BEST LOCATION IN THE METRO DETROIT AREA!!! ❤“

"A sammich is a type of sandwich. However, it is not just any kind of sandwich. Any old schmuck can throw lunchmeat between two slices of bread and have a sandwich. But no. A sammich is not just a sandwich, it is not just a meal. Sammich is a term reserved for only the holiest and mightiest of all sandwiches. A sammich is a true work of culinary art; a feast on a bun, if you will. A sammich is not made of the best ingredients; it is made of the *right* ingredients. It needs the right meats, and the right cheese(s), the right sauce, the right veggies, and the right kind of bread. Taking footlong sub bread and throwing every kind of meat and cheese and everything else under the sun or in your kitchen pantry on it does not a sammich make. “It's a good thing that everything this menu is good because every time we go, something is wrong with the order. Every. Single. Time. It's comical. Doesn't matter the location. Piquette was the most recent, but last time it was the Livernois spot. Thankfully we're able to pick pickles off or deal with no pita chips on our salad or even accept beef instead of chicken, because again, everything is tasty. Not worth it to complain because the staff aren't the most friendly. Like another reviewer said, get an extra side of garlic!“

The parking in back was kind of creepy! but the parking in front was under construction so; I'm guessing that's why the place was dead. and if I wasn't in a "need them" kind of situation, I probably would have walked out and found a different location. It was just dark and not inviting at all. Idk.
So with that experience; and lack of yumminess, plus ridiculous prices; I don't see myself returning. Sad, because I used to LoVe subway!“

“The staff, one woman and two gentleman, were absolutely amazing. It's been a very long time since I've witnessed customer service like this, and I say this as someone who worked in fine dining the last 7 years. They were unbelievably giving and warm to a customer ahead of me in line, willing to remake her order when she realized she might prefer a larger sub. In a situation where most restaurants would have maintained it was too late to switch, or allowed the change but been nasty and rude about it, the staff here was overwhelmingly accomodating. They made it very clear their singular objective was that customer's satisfaction. It made my experience richer to witness that kindness.

The food was good, I tried the Turkey club and the Firehouse Captains Club. Got double meat on both, and they absolutely delivered on that front. The sauces were a bit heavier than I'd like so I ended up having to eat one sandwich with a fork and knife lol. As far as sandwiches go, I definitely prefer Potbelly or Penn Station. But the service here is absolutely worth a visit!“

They use to not remove items out of their shawarmas which makes it easy to make them but now that give you the option to edit each one that you order. I swung by this Subway on Grand River right in the middle of a chaotic afternoon, expecting just the standard, run-of-the-mill sandwich experience. Honestly? I was completely blown away by how well-run this spot is.
First off, as soon as you walk in, you notice how incredibly clean it is. The whole setup looks brand new and spotless. The bright lighting, the immaculate glass on the prep station, and even the chip racks and drink coolers are perfectly stocked and organized. It shares space with a convenience setup, which is honestly a huge plus because I was able to grab my lunch, a cold drink, and some snacks for later all in one swoop.
I also noticed they have the fresh meat slicers right behind the counter now, and you can really taste the difference in quality. The staff working the line deserves a shoutout, too. They were handling a steady flow of customers like absolute pros—working fast to keep the line moving, but they didn’t rush me while I was ordering. They built my sandwich exactly how I asked, toasted it perfectly, and didn't drown it in sauce (which is usually my biggest pet peeve!).

“The crew that worked at this Henry Ford location on: April 14, 2026 around 2 pm was GREAT! I was having a low blood sugar reaction and they helped me immediately when I told them. I requested an oatmeal raisin cookie and cup for a drink until I could order my sandwich. Tanijha gave me the cookie and cup immediately. When it was my turn to order my sandwich Mimi and Malcolm worked very well together to get my sandwich to me expeditiously due to my low blood sugar. All this happened during a very busy time for them; however, they worked together to get me and my blood sugar together! 😊 I want each of them to know that I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart. I tried to call to speak with their manager Angela the next day, to compliment them, but the phone just rang, then cut off. God BLESS and kudos to each of them for a JOB WELL DONE!

“We came here a few minutes prior to closing time.
The man that serviced us was extremely pleasant, prompt and polite. He was an older gentleman with salt and pepper or possibly white hair. He was so patient with us, even though he was about to close down. He loaded our sandwiches up with the remainder of meat he had left (we got double meat and it was much more generous than any other subway we’ve been to) and he was super fast with the whole process. It’s truly the people that make an establishment 5 stars or 1 star. He did an awesome job and we truly thank him for servicing customers so close to the end of the shift, and even a few minutes after close, with such understanding, patience and respect. You don’t see that very often, especially in a fast food restaurant. The food was great, too. The sandwiches were juicy, fat and toasty. Just how we like them. Cookies on point. We will come back.
