“Joe and crew made us feel welcomed. drinks were quickly served as we waited for a table, then decided to stay at the bar. between 630 and 7, there was 20 minute wait for a table. it took probably 20 minutes to get appetizers, but the rings and skins were worth the wait! we didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the food and chat with fellow bar guests. shout out to all for blessing me with hot banana peppers for my corona!!!!!! the cod and fries special was on point!!! worth mentioning, the hot sauce selection!! thanks Southwoods for a great meal!!“

“It was a good place to go for bowling and arcade. I only have one concern, or complaint. The family bowling next to us was using the ramp for their youngest child. When they went back to bowl, they pushed the ramp in front of the ball corral, middle of both lanes. It stuck out too far into our bowling lane, where I was concerned about tripping or catching my shoe on the edge ... otherwise it was very nice to be there and play.“

The beer selection is a bit odd, and could be better, but we found some beers we enjoyed. The food was quite good, but again the selection could be a bit better, maybe expand the menu a bit. With a few tweaks this spot could be outstanding!

“Coming from a Major Food Snob- Teddy Griffin’s is 5 Stars!!! Ive been looking for good food in Indian River, Cheboygan and surrounding areas all Summer. I finally had a meal I LOVED and Raved about. We started with Lamb Lollipops- Yum! The Chicken Picatta is packed with flavor and just so darn good. Pecan Crusted Whitefish was another excellent choice and we followed it with a slice of Carrot Cake. Compliments to the Chef! We will be back!!“

“Great food, but most importantly, they have a separate fryer for people who are gluten free, meaning my 7 year old son could have the gluten free burger and fries he craved! I highly suggest advertising this on the find me gluten free app and the other gluten free pages as you will for sure get business from people with celiac disease and those who eat a gluten free lifestyle.“

“I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with this Applebee’s. It was much more than I expected in many ways. The restaurant was clean, not just the bare minimum kind of clean, it was a ‘we actually care about this place’ kind of clean. Our server was on her A game, professional, thoughtful, friendly and she anticipated rather than waiting to be flagged down. The food was delicious as well as affordable. I never really took notice of the atmosphere in other Applebee’s but I did at this one. It was very relaxing and calm. No one was shouting from the kitchen, the servers weren’t yelling about their dishes, no loud bangs and thuds from cleaning either. I didn’t realize how much I actually appreciated that.“

“We stopped there Oct. 24 at around 7pm for dinner just as they were closing for shortage of help but they served us anyways. Our server was Warren and the cook staff stayed to make sure everything was good. He had already worked a 12 hr. shift and was very friendly. we really appreciated it. thanks warren.“

“The view is worth the price of admission. I was here 4 years ago and enjoyed the beer and pizza, however things have changed. The menu is limited and mostly it's self order and pickup. The beer and drinks are great, the staff are friendly but the food is marginal at best, simply put, Gordon foods bulk supply served to order.
Come for the beer ,the view and the staff, consider food elsewhere“
