“We love this place and try to come a few times a year for special occasions. We went this past weekend for my dad's birthday and it was awesome! The $60 meal special allows you to try three dishes (appetizer/salad, entree, dessert). The drinks are always perfect. “Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the area, and showed me what was good on the menu, a trait that I wish every restaurant did. They have this pretzel that is big enough for 2 people to share, I'm talking about a foot wide pretzel. Fluffy and so good with the house chili. I personally got a reuben that was big and delicious. You could tell the food is fresh. Great prices as well.They have some "rare" drinks at the bar that would make the whiskey snob's mouth water. Overall a great place to stop by and ask the locals about good stuff in the area to do.“

“The service was great and the environment was great. The burger is fabulous and the members of our party that got nachos and a thai beef dish really enjoyed their meals as well. We have come back several times since it is good food, a varied menu and you can find meals that range from very cost effective to more pricey options when you want to splurge.“

“I cannot say enough good about this place! I first ordered a few weeks ago and have ordered five or six times since because they are so awesome! Service is spectacular. Never a rude employee. Everyone is always friendly, and knowledgeable! The food is a match to the service! They had a buffalo chicken sandwich special that was quite possibly the best thing I've ever eaten before and everything I've ordered has been great! I have been placing orders for a group of people and we have not had any mistakes, it's ready on time and it's perfect! Even with our special orders! I am beyond impressed with Julienne Tomatoes! “The worst service ever! My 80 year old mom and I were told a 5 minute wait even though 4 tables were available. After 5 minutes, we were seated. A couple minutes later, a waitress finally comes by and says I'll be right back. We waited roughly another 10 minutes watching about 4 waitresses walk past us several times, all looking at us. We weren't even given water. Then another "rich" looking couple comes in and the same 3 tables are still empty that were when we came in. They took them right to the table next to us. A waitress immediately brought them their water and took their order. I said we've been waiting for a while. She just walked past. We got up and left. I will NEVER go there again. And trust me, I will spread the word. I have been there other times with other people when it was busy and wasn't treated like this.“

“Food was outstanding! Our table had the breakfast charcuterie, breakfast tacos, avocado toast, the pancake special - it was ALL delicious. What I don’t understand is the lack of real Maple syrup. It’s literally in your name! And you serve cheap gfs syrup? Unacceptable.“

“Very nice experience for dinner. The restaurant has a unique feel with a step back in time. The chandeliers provided a very romantic setting along with some live music. The food was quite good and had a very nice presentation. Overall there were a couple of bumps in service but they were quite friendly and quick to set things right. They didn't know as much about the items on the menu that we hoped they would but were willing to check in with the kitchen to get the details we needed. We would be interested in coming back here in the future!“

“Amazing food, amazing beer, great people, and a business that has heart. You need to check Stiggs out! Everything we've had here has been excellent. The building is also beautiful and historic, really neat inside and out! After going a few times, we've learned how much Stiggs cares about and supports the people around them. You can donate a meal, pay it forward with a beer, and they participate in a lot of other charitable events!“

“It was my husband’s and I first time going to Nomad last night and everything was amazing. The old fashion was one of the best we have ever had. If you go during happy hour the wings are a must! We absolutely enjoyed everything we had. We will definitely go back!“

“Our family of 6 stopped by after a local recommendation on our way home from a skiing trip. The food across the board was delicious. My turkey sandwich on pretzel bun was literally the best turkey sandwich I've ever had. The service was quick and efficient, she kept our glasses full of water which i appreciate. “BRI has table seating and bar seating - in nice weather they have some tables (about 8 tables ?) on a smallish deck overlooking Boyne River - enjoyable - they also have several table out front on sidewalk, roped in area in busy summer time. Great service. Very busy in summertime as BC is a resort town. As a Local, we tend to eat out from Mid Sept to Mid May. We do get some out of towners in winter due to Boyne Mountain, but nothing like summertime Our first visit was in busy season and last visit was 2/19/24 We have had the following all have been FANTASTIC Pizza - once excellent Coconut Shrimp - 5 different times - all excellent Chicken Sandwich - once excellent Chili with toppings served separately (nice touch) once excellent BLT on ciabatta bun (sub style) ordered with bacon on side as that is how I like to eat mine - was beyond excellent, bun was so soft and so flavorful the BLT was a special the day we stopped in, not on menu, hit & miss if it is available, but if it is - it is well worth trying, comes with fries Fish Sandwich - excellent BRI Burger - excellent We have always had fantastic, friendly service, even the one time we went in summer when we got the last available table. We sat on deck and chatted with 2 other couples who were raving about what they had ordered“

“Excellent Benedict. Why aren't there more reviews on the breakfast at this hotel? I really appreciate recommendations and their Eggs Benedict deserves 5 stars. You won't regret ordering it, if you do. Tomorrow I'm trying their omelet. As for atmosphere, well, it's positively charming.“

“It took an hour and a half for our lunch experience. We ordered a crab cake appettizer which was very good but we did not recieve it till 40 minutes after we were seated. Another 20 minutes wait till we recieved our 2 half sandwiches, 2 bowls of chilli, a breakfast burrito and an order of biscuits and gravy. I will note that all the food was very good just the service was horrible. So after being there an hour and twenty minutes we were done and had to wait 10 minutes for our check. We ended up paying all in cash because we had no idea how much longer we had to wait to get our cards back. Our servers name was Nancy i believe.“
