“Our favorite go to when we are in the area! Food and service is always the best. Menu offers many choices but you can never go wrong with the fish dishes. We have never had a bad meal here. We recently celebrated my daughters 40th birthday with a party of ten and going here was my pick. Everyone loved their food, Courtney was awesome! This restaurant is just the best all around!“
“Great small town bar with the usual apps and good burgers. It's nice to find a place that doesn't try to glam up the menu it seems like everyone is trying to be too upscale. This place is a bar and they do it well. I will definitely be a regular when I'm in the area.“
“Absolute gem "hidden" in plain sight! Have driven by numerous times but never stopped in until a recent recommendation from friends. And so glad we did! Even in mid-March they had a short wait on a Sunday morning! People know about this place! Great food with tweaks that put it over the top - candied bacon, vinaigrette on the arugula and pickled onions on the breakfast sandwich. Best I've had in a long time! The atmosphere and decor was great - just what you'd expect from a northern MI camp deli! We will certainly be back!“
“The restaurant itself was so cute! The food was great. I also got 2 of their speciality cheesecakes. I highly recommend the desserts. Service was fast and we were in and out in around an hour. The view of the lake was also extremely beautiful. I would have taken a photo if I didn't miss it with the Sun already setting. It is homey and cozy. It would be a cute road trip/ date spot.“

The menu options were plentiful and creative, and clearly there was a legacy driving this place - really great food, great service, and cool atmosphere. “Great experience! We arranged to bring our hockey team and families to Bob's Place for a team lunch. We called a couple of weeks in advance and Taylor made sure that we were well taken care of. The whole back room set up and ready for us. Food was great (cheese curds were fantastic!), the kids played the arcade games and pool tables, and the parents were able to relax and watch games on the multiple TVs in the party room. The staff was well organized, friendly, and very accommodating.“
