“Took forever for this establishment to open but I'm happy it's finally open. Went up on the BOGO day and it was packed but they got everyone in and out in a timely manner. The employees were very helpful and nice. The establishment itself was clean, clear and organized. The Sandweeches were full of flavor! Can't wait to go back and try some more of they're products. “Ate in the lounge and had fantastic service. Lovely wood smoke smell in the place. Tried 4 different red wine between my wife and I, all terrific. The small plates we tried were all excellent. My favorite was the whipped salted cod and my wife loved the maitake mushrooms. The mains were also great, the halibut was our favorite. The sherry for dessert was great.

Overall, a surprisingly good meal with fun and knowledgeable wait staff. Best meal I e had had in a good while.“

“By far the best middle eastern restaurant in town. Whether its kabab or chicken tikka, or its number one. Even the rice is tasty. Also their mosuli kubba fried is amazing. I also really enjoyed their tea and the pistachio smoothie. The pistachio smoothie is unbelievable I wish I noticed it earlier on their menu. Its authentic Iraqi street food and cuisine.
We tried multiple dishes on this first time

All food is perfectly made , tastes amazing, and light. Place is very clean , presentation is appealing and clean the place is small but has a special character to reflect Darbunah (iraqi word for alley) that is old and authentic

Prices very reasonable, the food quality and portion sizes are great

The mixed plate is variety of finger food with fried tomatos

Makhlama eggs ground beef and sauteed vegies

Mumbar, was clean and light, but I prefer it with spices that the northern iraqi cuisine is famous for.

Kibda was amazing (liver with sauteed vegies and spices

Misabaha , yogurt eggplant chickpeas and spices

Bagela bil dihen , is dried fava beans slow cooked boiled, mixed with Khubuz (flat bread) soaked in the fava bean broth, then mixed with spices, topped with Iraqi style scrambled eggs and drizzled with hot gea

Kahi and geemer was our desert and geemar which is cream, was perfectly made , kahi is a version of croissant“

“My wife and I had dinner here on Friday, October 6, 2023, and absolutely loved it. The food was superb-- as good as any we've ever had. We ordered meat grape leaves, chicken coriander dinner, fatoush salad, baba ghannouge, and pita bread with garlic sauce. The servings were so large we took a third of it home.“
