“On Friday, February 6, we went to Capitol Grille. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. The veal ravioli appetizer was incredible, and the salads were so fresh. The T-bone was cooked to perfection, the filet was incredibly tender, and the salmon with BBQ sauce was so flavorful. To top it all off, the cheesecake was delicious and not overly sweet! Our waiter was so kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was classy, elegant, and perfect for celebrating a special occasion. We had such a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again!“
