“We spent our rainy day at Novel for the first visit. What a quaint, cozy, fantastic way to spend the day. The food (sandwich and soup) was wonderful and the book selection was plentiful. Five stars for this gem. We will be back for lunch.“

“It was a delivery and I was surprised at how small size chicken teriyaki sub was packed with chicken, mushrooms, and onions on multigrain(not common these days). I’m not a large person, but that made a for a good solid meal for me with their delicious fries. I will go to the restaurant now to try something else on the menu. This place is good value for money.“

“Great food & great service every time at the Sterling Heights location of 16 mile & dequinder. One staff member took my order, cooked the order, & rang me up. She did an amazing job will always come back to this location just because of this staff member.“

The owner offer to give me a platter because she notice I was a realtor. After a brief discussion I made a different offer for her location to sponsor the 80 subs for a “Feed The Homeless” event that 248 Jeephers was doing a week later instead. I am happy that the owners accepted my offe. “Had a charge dispute and went in the next day to get it refunded/reversed, and the manager was so awesome. It was lunch rush and she went out of her way to look up the charge and fix it on the spot. Appreciate her! Employees were nice as well. Always loved the food here.“

“They are clearly understaffed right now as I’ve been waiting on food for over an hour. Spoke with an associate who offered to remake food for delivery which I appreciated, but I could also tell they were slammed. I felt for the employee so said just send the food. Understaffing is certainly an issue in this industry and many others, but solutions need to be found for the interim. Business models adapted, etc. I know that’s a corporate thing, but freaky fast is a bad promise in understaffed economies. It sets the tone for standards to be a certain level, and when it’s not met it turns what could’ve been a good experience into something disappointing- because of the implied expectation being sold to the consumer. This isn’t fair to consumers, or employees. The ceo needs to be giving franchisees options for these times, because as it stands they’re setting their employees up for failure daily.“

“I have been going to Potbelly for about three years. I started at the one on Crooks near 16 mile and now I go to the one in Rochester Hills. Today is Election Day. I voted and then went to Potbelly for my sandwich and malt. As I paid for my purchase I was offered a Free cookie because I had a, I Voted sticker on my jacket. “Unlike other Subways nearby that close at 9 PM, this location stays open till 10 PM, which was very convenient for me. The staffs were efficient and friendly.I was surprised to see they had received some poor reviews on Google because my experience was excellent. Additionally, I appreciate that they don't charge extra for water cups and bags also providing all the utensils without asking for footlong cookies and salads.I'm giving them a five-star rating and highly recommend them!"
