“We spent our rainy day at Novel for the first visit. What a quaint, cozy, fantastic way to spend the day. The food (sandwich and soup) was wonderful and the book selection was plentiful. Five stars for this gem. We will be back for lunch.“

“It was a delivery and I was surprised at how small size chicken teriyaki sub was packed with chicken, mushrooms, and onions on multigrain(not common these days). I’m not a large person, but that made a for a good solid meal for me with their delicious fries. I will go to the restaurant now to try something else on the menu. This place is good value for money.“

“Everything got pretty expensive over the last 4 years. Can get better quality at Art & Jakes and elsewhere at a lower price. Regardless, had to order the pepper steak and cheese with double meat to make the sub half decent like it used to be back in the day.

“I wanted to share a huge thank you to the team at Penn Station in Sterling Heights, especially Tricia, the manager. Today I was in a stressful situation after a last-minute catering order with another company fell through. I had a work appointment nearby and needed lunch for 12 people as quickly as possible, but I wasn’t familiar with the area or who could help on such short notice.
I stopped into Penn Station because I knew they had great sandwiches, and when I explained the situation, Tricia immediately stepped in without hesitation and assured me they could take care of it. I was beyond grateful.
Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but while I waited I noticed how genuinely friendly and welcoming the staff was to every customer who walked through the door. Tricia also took the time to explain some of their catering options, including customizable sandwich selections for groups and the ability to place catering orders with relatively short notice.
The entire experience turned a stressful afternoon into a smooth one, and the food was a huge hit with everyone. Exceptional customer service like this deserves recognition. Thank you again!“

“My family and I really like the food from here. I’m addictive to the chicken parmigiana sub. They service is always friendly and the restaurant seems to be clean. The only downside is that it is a little slow because they are making everything fresh but it is worth the wait.“

I voted and then went to Potbelly for my sandwich and malt. As I paid for my purchase I was offered a Free cookie because I had a, I Voted sticker on my jacket. “They are clearly understaffed right now as I’ve been waiting on food for over an hour. Spoke with an associate who offered to remake food for delivery which I appreciated, but I could also tell they were slammed. I felt for the employee so said just send the food. Understaffing is certainly an issue in this industry and many others, but solutions need to be found for the interim. Business models adapted, etc. I know that’s a corporate thing, but freaky fast is a bad promise in understaffed economies. It sets the tone for standards to be a certain level, and when it’s not met it turns what could’ve been a good experience into something disappointing- because of the implied expectation being sold to the consumer. This isn’t fair to consumers, or employees. The ceo needs to be giving franchisees options for these times, because as it stands they’re setting their employees up for failure daily.“

“Unlike other Subways nearby that close at 9 PM, this location stays open till 10 PM, which was very convenient for me. The staffs were efficient and friendly.I was surprised to see they had received some poor reviews on Google because my experience was excellent. Additionally, I appreciate that they don't charge extra for water cups and bags also providing all the utensils without asking for footlong cookies and salads.I'm giving them a five-star rating and highly recommend them!"

“I have to say I wasn't expecting much for a fast food vendor set up on the inside of a discount store like Meijers, but I was really impressed. Our server, who was all by herself, really hustled and prepared our subs just the way we wanted them with ample portions of meat and condiments. We had the food to go, but would have felt comfortable eating there with the few tables and chairs they had set up. They appeared to be clean as was the floor.
