“Last night my family and myself went to Grand Tavern for supper after a long day. Our waiter Xhorxh was absolutely amazing! Personally, I have dietary restrictions and explained to him that I am unable to have gluten, dairy, or egg. I had already pre-creeped the menu before arriving so I could find a meal that would be easy to hopefully adapt to my dietary restrictions. After explaining my restrictions Xhorxh was ON IT! He immediately spoke to the chef and the chef adapted my meal to my restrictions. Xhorxh did tell me that there could be a possible cross contamination with gluten on one of my sides and explained that they couldn’t guarantee that that one thing would be gluten free. Listen, not very often in the service industry do you come across a wait staff member or chef that made sure to cross all of the boxes. I ordered brussel sprouts as the appetizer without the cheese (I could have had three plates of that it was so good) and the cedar plank salmon and ordered two veggies as my side. IT was DELISH!!!!! Xhorxh also made sure that our drinks were constantly filled and took amazing care of our family. My MIL even made a comment after we received our meals how she really liked him as a waiter. I wished we had a Grand Tavern where we lived but unfortunately we are 8 hours away but we will absolutely be back when visiting family! ❤️“

“Cy Mahoney’s is one of my favorite go-to bars in Rochester Hills. Great food, solid drinks, and a laid-back, friendly vibe. Felicia, the manager, is awesome, and Andy the bartender is great — they really make the place welcoming and keep you coming back.“

“Had a family celebration and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Our waiter Grant did duty above and beyond. The hostess was helpful in finding a table that could accommodate us and the menu provided something for everyone. A wonderful evening“

Ordered the bake cheese dip to start. Really enjoyed it. Goes really good with the toasted baguettes.

Full menu of options for drinks. No frozen drinks tho. They do not have a blender. They carry Faygo pop and that was a real treat.

Ordered the chicken Caesar salad. If I had known that, the salad came premixed I would’ve asked for the salad dressing on the side. It turned the Romain lettuce, soggy quickly. Couldn't take the left overs. Dressing was on the bitter side.

Also, tried the fire bird sandwich. Bun gave it good texture. Not a fan of the topping choices. Didn’t go well with the cheese and sauce.

I was excepting a little more from the menu. Smaller menu. Will be back.“

“Maria is hands-down one of the best bartenders at Hub Stadium. She’s always on top of her game, remembers orders without missing a beat, and keeps the bar moving even on the busiest nights. She personally changes the kegs and still keeps everything running smoothly—no downtime, no complaints.

You can tell she works incredibly hard and probably goes through three kegs a night without breaking a sweat. Great attitude, great service, and she makes the whole experience better every time we’re there. If Maria’s behind the bar, you’re in good hands.“

“CJ Pub is one of our favorite local bars! My husband and I have visited multiple times, and I even hosted my birthday party there a few years ago. The drinks and food are always great.

A special shoutout to Leah—she’s a fantastic server! She’s attentive, quick, and has such a fun personality. We also love the games in the other room, which make it even more fun. If you’re looking for good food, drinks, and a great time, I highly recommend CJ Pub!“

“Hidden Gem. Literally. The sign out front on what looks like an undeveloped lot. Easy to not notice. Turn at the sign and drive back a bit. Great for sports, large beer selection, patio, pool table. Service at the bar was great. Repeat business from me for sure. ,“

“Art & Jake’s in Romeo is one of those places that immediately pulls you in with its cool, energetic vibe. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between casual and upscale, TVs everywhere for the sports fans, great lighting, and a modern, welcoming layout that makes it ideal for both a night out with friends or a relaxed dinner.

The food really impressed me, especially the Rocky Mountain burger , hands down one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and loaded with toppings that actually complement each other instead of overpowering the burger. The fries were golden, crispy, and perfectly seasoned, exactly how fries should be.

Service was spot-on, too , our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure drinks stayed full without ever hovering. The only slight miss was the chicken wrap, which was a bit on the dry side, but still tasty enough to enjoy.

Overall, Art & Jake’s delivered a great experience from start to finish. Between the lively atmosphere, great service, and incredible burger, it’s an easy choice for a return visit. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Romeo area!“

“We had such a great first experience here. From start to finish, everything was wonderful.
We started with the stuffed meatballs and mozzarella sticks. The meatballs were hands-down my favorite bite of the night—so flavorful and comforting. The mozzarella sticks had a perfectly crispy, well-seasoned breading (even though there wasn’t much of a cheese pull), and both the ranch and marinara were spot-on.
For our meals, my husband ordered the sliders with a side Caesar salad, and I had the half slab of ribs. The sliders were just okay—not something we’d rush back for—but the Caesar was crisp, fresh, and light. The ribs, though, were incredible—fall-off-the-bone tender with amazing flavor, and they ended up being my husband’s favorite bite of the night.
To top it off, the manager (or owner) stopped by to welcome us and surprised us with fried Oreos on the house since it was our first visit. Those easily made our top three bites of the evening—such a fun and delicious touch.
Beyond the food, the service really stood out. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely helped make the experience enjoyable. Add in the sports on TV and the upbeat atmosphere, and it really felt like the perfect higher-end sports bar.

“This place is surprisingly good! I was impressed with my server Alicia, she did an outstanding service for me and my family. I was spectical at first ( being our first time). “Took our first trip to this place just last night. Has a little bit of everything for those not looking to stay seated during dinner. Food took forever though and was decent. Waitress was a little lost with constantly asking our table of 6 what they ordered and whose drink went with whose order. Other than that the atmosphere was pretty cool. We played some cornhole, which was decently priced by the hour ($10). Plus they had classic arcade games, free to play like Ms Pac Man, Galaga, Frogger, and Donkey Kong along with 90’s classics like Mortal Kombat, NFL Blitz and House of the Dead. Plus over a dozen pinballs. Arcade area was a sight to see since most places now use carnival or ticket games. They also had a poker room which was full. Did not see any pool tables, darts or disc golf so not sure if those get removed during poker night. I’d consider coming back but not during their busier times. It was more than half capacity but id imagine an even further delay on food or your wait staff being really lost handling more than 20 orders at multiple tables. Either way I’d recommend it as long as you aren’t really hungry going in or don’t like huge crowds.“

“CK Diggs is an absolute gem near downtown Rochester! The food was amazing — everything we ordered was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We tried the boneless wings, nachos, quesadillas, Reuben sandwich, Southwest pasta, Cajun steak strips, pretzel bites, and Beijing beef — and every single dish was delicious.

The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and fast. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual night out or a relaxed dinner with friends.

The Cookie Monster and carrot was was beyond delicious.

“We’ve always had good food and service any time we’ve been here. It’s exactly what you’d expect. But today there was a server(not even ours) who went out of her way to make my young sons(2&4) feel special. With a random act of kindness. When I told my son that I didn’t have any cash for the duck claw machine, she overheard and had pulled a pair of singles out of her book for my sons to “win” a duck. I didn’t accept it, because we have too many toys as is, and my wife generally keeps a little cash(which my son begged from her). I didn’t her name, but I hope her manager sees this. She is a lovely young woman 5ft(ish) with medium brown hair in 2 long braids.“

“When people go out to eat these days they simply want good food with exceptional service. The BEST service and ONLY reason my fiance and I come to this location is for a waitress, Klara G! No joke, we have a BDubbs closer to our home and the service is horrible. If you pay for an experience that’s what you should get, no questions asked and Klara is an exception that needs promotion!
