“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. You won’t be a “just another customer” ~~ You’ll be a FRIEND!“

“ordered from door dash a couple of times and this will be my last. every time, there is something wrong with the order. today, half of the order was missing and packing was so careless that the driver showed up with a container full of food spilled in the bag. As for the food, it has never been great, just okay.“

I cannot express enough how refreshing it is was to be at a place where everyone was accepted , validated and safe! This country is a messed up place , but having a place that is welcoming and not to mention FUN will make a difference in someone’s life !“

• Unexpectedly, very small, downtown location.
• When we walked in it was very busy and we were not greeted. Also, we were unsure where to sit due to tables being used or had stuff on them.
• Only had one guy working. He was very nice and professional. There was way too much expected from just one worker to accomplish. He was amazing, very knowledgeable, and did his very best.

Brussels app, Scallops, Thai Shrimp Entrees, Carrot Cake dessert Waiter was helpful and a nice guy. I forget his name but, he did a swell job and was working a lot of tables in a packed and noisy house. My date and i both made a point on how cool the bathrooms were lol“
