I don't believe the omelets were cooked from scratch, but they were acceptable. The service was good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking is available in front of the restaurant. It's a good spot for a meal and conversation.“

“I stopped in I wanted some food. I decided to check out the Nikola’s. Food was delicious very tasty well cooked. I enjoyed my meal and was so full that I could not even eat my dessert. I will come back again and try the barbecue ribs they looked good.“

“I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“I always enjoy eating here. Everyone always welcomes you and smiles. Food is brought to you hot and you are asked if you need anything else or if everything looks good. Coke products are on tap and fresh brewed tea comes sweetend or unsweetened. Fish sandwiches are great and cheese curds are very tasty. The dining area is always clean and the bathroom is clean as well. Everyone working here always seems to be in a great mood. The music over the speaker system is good and at a good level.“

“I'm a 30 year plus well satisfied Kerby's customer and the my current issue is the 2 for 1 gyro May special. The frist of month i received two full gyros and today i received two gyros that had half of regular meat portion. I used the drive thru and didn't realize the meat shortage until i got home.“

Not greasy at allI saw other people get club sandwich and they are huge so even the menu is small but the quality is not bad if you don't want to venture out to Southfield to get food late at night since Southfield is not the nicest town in Detroit“

“It's Big Boy! I had take out and the staff was very nice. I ordered 2 Slim Jim's and they were just as I remembered. However, I had stomach related issues hours later. Was the only thing I ate that day. Could have been from the night before. I'll try again some day just to be sure because the service and food was good.“

“This place is great for a quick bar bite, music and a strong drink. Lately the crowd has gotten a lot younger and the servers have changed. The server attitudes have changed and that's not a good thing. Their drinks are always strong, but there's a difference between strong and terrible and that's what we had the last time.
We brought this up to our server and she started to argue with us that the drinks here are always strong. We told her we've been coming here for over 15 years and always order the same drinks, but this one need a tweak. She was just combative and ignored us the rest of the night. This was different from the usual wait staff who are always friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious.“

“As far as carryout goes, this location is quite decent. We've been a few times and our order was perfect; I'm glad they're here, as Southfield could still use places like Friday's.

We've gotten apps, entrees, salads, etc. and we had no complaints. The portion size of Cajun shrimp pasta is huge, so that's definitely appreciated. My Million Dollar Cobb was pretty huge as well. Fresh ingredients, good dressing, happy me. The potato skins were freshly fried and delicious. We will probably continue to get carryout here often. Thank you to the cooking staff and management for holding it down here.“

“This restaurant is a great place in the summer or the winter this was my first time in the winter parking is plentiful but the parking lot was packed so it was a cold walk to the door fortunately I had my first coat on but once I got inside it was warm the music was good the crowd was lively and the drinks were plentiful.“

“Dined in with my coworker after a long shift and experienced such great service. Cre was our server and she had no problem taking care of us as indecisive as we were. Food was made fresh. The busser, David was exceptional as well. Accommodating anything we needed. We will definitely be back.“

“I was visiting the Detroit area from Texas. I went to this place to watch the Lions game... so I didn't eat. It's a sports bar. Given the other places I have traveled and been to sports bars, this is a good one. Compared to sports bars in Texas, it's just OK. It's a little small. The service was decent. The staff seemed to be more interested in watching the game than making money. If you're in the area, it's fine, but I wouldn't drive across town for this place.“
