The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. “Where do I even begin? The second we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful! We took our twins out to celebrate their second birthday! Our waiter Nicholas was so kind and patient! He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“This place is crazy good.
I got the hangover burger and some cheese sauce for my fries (I recommend dunking ur burger in it too omghhh).
The bacon has a super smokey flavor, the egg was perfectly runny, hash brown didn't get soggy, patties were cooked nice. I love the fries too, has a little sugar and balances out the salty.
I went home and slept for 3 hours so if you have plans after I wouldn't recommend it 😂.
Bloody Mary was good too, nice n peppery

“Over 25 crowd (most patrons were 40s +). There is a $15 minimum to use a card so if you're just having 1 drink, bring cash. No cover. Pool tables and bar. I was told they no longer sell food at this Bar & Grill but I didn't confirm if the kitchen closes very early, is temporarily closed or closed indefinitely. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. It's not huge but there was a perfect number of people to enjoy yourself and not be crowded with people breathing COVID unknowingly. Old school music with some hustle tracks thrown in. I would go back.“

“I could eat at celebrities bar and grill everyday! The lamb chops are great with the celebity sauce a must try you won't be disappointed. I normally get turkey chops with a side of mac n cheese and a side of yams and they never disappoint. They know what they're doing with the food so give them a try if you never had it you'll be glad you did. Only thing I wish they would change is taking orders over the phone again because it can be a nice little wait sometimes to get your food after you order in person depending on how busy they are.“

We saw some bands play in their parking lot during Royal Oak Tacofest. There's a small outdoor patio, and several tables inside The Rock on 3rd. Their beer menu is decent, and their martinis are delicious. Must visit!!“

“We happened across Bar Louie while strolling through the streets of Royal Oak and decided to stop for lunch. We both ordered the toasted bacon, tomato and cheese sandwich with a soup dipper, and it was absolutely delicious. Such a simple meal, but it was the perfect lunch!

A side note, I’m visiting from Australia, and I still can’t get used to how enormous the drinks are in America. Every time I order one, I’m amazed by the size!

What really made the experience stand out was the service. The lady looking after our table was lovely, friendly, and checked in to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Great food, huge drinks, and warm hospitality made for a really enjoyable experience. We’d happily come back!“
