“This place is way better than another places in Wyandotte (China Star). This is what i expect when I order typical 'Chinese food'. Some other places try to put their own twist and / or spin on normal dishes but this place does it right.

Way to go. 10 out of 10.

“This is my first visit to Mandarin Kitchen. I ordered #4 almond chicken combination with wonton soup and egg roll and hot tea. The almond chicken was pretty good topped with brown gravy. Wonton soup and egg roll was nice and hot and (egg roll was) crispy. 4 and 1/2 stars.“

“This is my first experience at this location. I don't have a lot to say but would highly suggest going in.Firstly, the food wasn't terrible, but not as flavorful as other locations that I've visited.Also, my fountain drink tasted extremely watered down. If I had to go again , I think it makes a difference when you go inside. Drive thru was fast workers friendly. Food, just okay.“

“I was suprised to come on here and see so many bad reviews. I ordered it to be delivered it arrived hot. I thought the portion was decent for the price maybe 12-15 pieces of chicken and a cup and half of the chicken fried rice for like 14$. The eggrolls were not the normal cabbage ones, but seemed like they were chicken or pork. They were hot and juicy. The crab rangoon was fine, and personally i like onion so i didnt mind it in the rice. Was way more flavorful then alot of other chinese places around.“

“Authentic Chinese Food in Windsor – A Rare Gem

As someone who has travelled extensively across China, I’ve always found it hard to come by truly authentic Chinese food outside the country. But this place in Windsor completely surprised me – it’s hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to outside of China.

We tried the hot pot and fried pork belly, and both were absolutely awesome – rich in flavour, perfectly cooked, and true to the traditional taste. The ingredients were fresh, and the spice levels hit the mark just like in Sichuan.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a real Chinese food experience – not the usual North American version. Will definitely come back!“

“The Dearborn, Michigan, restaurant has been a longtime fixture in our community, with employee longevity guaranteeing great service and consistent taste. On this visit, I had the signature lettuce wraps, which were plentiful and tasty. The pork egg rolls were still hot when they arrived at the table, and the dipping sauce had a bit of a horseradish-y tang to it. My chicken fried rice entree was large and had great flavor, and all three dishes were fresh. Dan, the manager, came to my table to check on our order and he was most gracious and friendly. I'll be back again soon.

Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu is halal, which is important in the Dearborn, Michigan, market.“

“All I can say is WOW!!! This is truly a Mom and Pop hole in the wow, and likely some of the best Almond Boneless Chicken I've had in terms of flavor! I made the "mistake" of ordering a dinner sized portion, thinking that the lunch size wouldn't be enough, but I was mistaken by a long shot. I wish I lived out this way as I'd likely order at least once a week!“

“We have dined for breakfast on various occasions. The tastes of the foods was amazing. The presentation of the plates was breath taking, absolutely beautiful. The only shortfall we found in the restaurant was the BLINDING sun on the East side windows. A good set of adjustable blinds would be a welcomed addition on those East side windows. All in all, the food was so good and so hot, the presentation was beautifully displayed and the staff were friendly and well experienced. We will come back and recommend restaurant to others.“
