They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “The atmosphere is really nice! I came in with a group of 15 and the server we had was super friendly and accommodating. The food came out quickly as well. I had the broccoli soup and fries for an appetizer and both were amazing!! They have a delicious sauce that comes with the fries as well. For dinner our group purchased a platter and even for 15 of us it was ALOT of food and we had so many leftovers. At the end, the servers were so kind and patient and took photos of our group.“

“I had a large order scheduled, and I could tell when I went in that they were slammed with customers. The manager was hyping his employees up and telling them they were rockstars for handling the pressure. My food was just a few minutes late, but I could tell they were triple checking my order to make sure I got everything. In a stressful moment like that, you could expect the order to be messed up, but they wanted to make sure that didn’t happen. They were very apologetic of the slight delay, which was unnecessary but appreciated. I was impressed with the teamwork and the manager’s kindness to me and his employees. The chicken was so moist and juicy, tabouli is always spot on. The Kabob skewer... meat cooked perfectly and so tender and juicy. The vegetables were so tasty with the perfect amount of char. I'm blown away each time I order from here. Also, the staff are top notch. They are so kind and welcoming and you can tell they cook with love. Need I say more?
