“The staff is amazing, friendly, and accommodating. Pricing is to die for. In this economy its refreshing to find somewhere to eat out at a reasonable price. Our party of four spent lest than $50 bucks. 🤯 I highly recommend everyone to at least check them out once. Food was delivered to our table in a timely manner and the atmosphere is very down home. “I recently visited Ted & Marie's Colonial Inn Restaurant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The ambiance was that of a classic diner, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. My server was very nice and efficient, taking my order promptly. I opted for the Colonial Club, a ham club sandwich, with a side of fries. The sandwich was delicious, especially the ham. The crinkle-cut fries were also a hit. Overall, the food was good and reasonably priced. However, I did find the menu to be somewhat limited, lacking some diner staples like open-faced sandwiches. Despite this, I would go back again.“

“Has always been a solid option, however my wife and I were in for dinner at 8pm last Tuesday and the service and food was sub par at best. There was Zero hustle in the restaurant, claimed they were busy but the patio was maybe 3/4 full, and we were one of 4 tables inside. The vibe was completely off. Multiple servers staring at each other, while it took tables 10+ minutes to be acknowledged and have the server come to the table. Had a view of the kitchen, and there was zero hustle there either. It seemed like no one wanted to be there. Food was not good and almost inedible. We didn’t even bother complaining. If this were my first time there, I would never go back. However I know that it’s not normal. We were highly disappointed.“

“A large, clean & quiet room and a front desk staff that was friendly and helpful. The group we were meeting with reserved a block of rooms, so we had reasonable rates for our stay. We were disappointed the onsite restaurant was closed during the time we were there, which led to some inconvenience as we were traveling with a car trailer and didn't want to drive this through traffic just to get a quick something to eat (hooking & unhooking the thing is a pretty big job, too.) The hotel did have grab & go items in the little shop in the lobby, including breakfast options that could be heated in the microwave. We didn't do this, but saw several people getting things. However, the bar was opened in the evenings and we enjoyed the banter with the bartender, who had some entertaining stories. Great guy. Considering the challenges with COVID and recent uptick in recreational travel, I'm not going to worry about the small things we'd usually expect in a nice hotel of the Sheraton brand, but do need to mention the coffee situation was dismal. We had a couple options - the traditional large urn that seemed like it was made by someone who doesn't drink coffee and the Mars brand version of a k-cup machine in the lobby. The first was unpotable and the second would have been semi-ok if we had another option than powdered creamer. A small complaint perhaps to those who don't rely on the bean to start their day. But to me, this is serious business. Honestly, I'd pay another buck a day to have some half & half at the coffee station. One more reason for the 4-star rating is the shower curtain was stained on the bottom. If it was changed recently and is that water-stained, then it's time to replace it.“

“Turbo Chicken 🐔 seriously one of the best places to eat. Our office orders AT LEAST once a week from turbo chicken. The chicken is crispy and always fresh. I have had almost everything on the menu and you cannot go wrong with any of the choices. They know me by name when I walk through the door. The pickles are to die for. The turbo sauce is a must have and the tots are always so crispy. I am drooling just thinking about it. Thanks for all you do for your team & customers!“

“Awesome place to grab a bite after a round of golf. Also, in case you didn't know, the grill room at the moors is open to the general public. However, the golf course is still private. The best times to visit the grill room if you don't want to be around a bunch of golfers is Wednesdays and Fridays as Tuesdays and Thursdays are leauge nights for the mens golf leauge. I would suggest making a reservation on either Wednesday or Friday a few days in advance. Also, Wednesdays are why cook Wednesdays and you get 30% off your bill. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for something different to try in portage michigan.“

It was hard to decide what to order because there were so many tempting choices, but we ended up with burgers, which were good. The fries were the best ever!! Marissa did a great job helping us, and the other staff was on spot with clearing dishes and checking in on how we were doing (but we weren't bugged). To be honest, I’ve gone there a handful of times in the last 10 years and the staff hasn’t been the friendliest or most attentive. Other patrons aren’t super friendly either, which is why I usually order take out. Drinks are average prices. Overall, the food makes it worth the take out order. Get the olive burger and mushrooms!“

“Extremely disappointed! Just stopped at Tiffany’s at 8:15Am on Sunday, walked in the door and restaurant was 1/2 full with no wait! As soon as we walked in manager and 2 staff immediately left to the kitchen with no acknowledgment. 5 min later hostess came to us and said there was a wait in the kitchen of 5-10 min and would not seat us! There were several open tables so why not at least seat us?“
