“We had such a great experience at Stein Eriksen's that we ate there two nights in a row. To start, the decor is Alpine, a perfect fit overlooking the slopes. Scott, the host, greeted us so warmly and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Its team members like this that create an experience that is memorable! They were absolutely booked on the holiday weekend, but service was seamless. Mark and Tim were both attentive servers and knew the menu well. The Alpine inspired menu was delicious and fitting for the setting.“

“The best sandwiches in the area! I never modify their sandwiches because they are so good the way they come, even if I think I don't like something. My go-to hot sandwich is the Inflector Gadget - an unusual pick for me since I almost always get the same thing at other delis - a turkey sandwich. I recommend the Cool sandwich on their cold offerings. SO GOOD. As for pickup, I've never had a problem. You don't need to be from the area to see how busy the best restaurants and shops get here. Even though that can be overwhelming, Lake Street Market has always been great getting my sandwich order ready for a timely pick-up. I make sure I call ahead to place my order, planning on about an hour wait time, though in my experience (since I don't call right at peak busy hours) they have been able to have my order ready in 20-30 minutes. 😋 Also, I have to add the packaging of the sandwiches is great. It may sound silly, but they have always packed my sandwich in a very clean/neat way. I really appreciate that.“

“Great experience here the Thursday & Friday before Labor Day. Very friendly and helpful staff. In the heart of Bayview with wonderful historic homes that are beautifully maintained. If you like “new & shiny” this isn’t your place, but if you love history and historic architecture, walking tours, etc this is the place. A little over a mile walk to downtown Petoskey and lots of interesting walks within the Bayview community. Great restaurant with outstanding food! I must say I missed the restaurant being open for breakfast like it was years ago, as I prefer a hot breakfast with eggs to a continental breakfast, but the continental breakfast did have a wide selection of pastries and included cold peeled hard boiled eggs, some other savory choices, juice, tea & coffee. The dinner & dessert choices at the restaurant were all absolutely outstanding!!! I had a difficult time choosing each night and the service was great as well.“

“Joe and crew made us feel welcomed. drinks were quickly served as we waited for a table, then decided to stay at the bar. between 630 and 7, there was 20 minute wait for a table. it took probably 20 minutes to get appetizers, but the rings and skins were worth the wait! we didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the food and chat with fellow bar guests. shout out to all for blessing me with hot banana peppers for my corona!!!!!! the cod and fries special was on point!!! worth mentioning, the hot sauce selection!! thanks Southwoods for a great meal!!“

“Tastttyyy foods, solid vibes, a little pricey but treat yoself! It can get busy but that feeds into the vibes and atmosphere. Karie was our server. Super kind and paid attention to us mentioning we wanted to split a burger when we ordered it. Fully expected to manhandle a burger in two, but it came out cut in half and served in two plates with each its own batch of onion rings. You’re awesome Karie!“

“I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with this Applebee’s. It was much more than I expected in many ways. The restaurant was clean, not just the bare minimum kind of clean, it was a ‘we actually care about this place’ kind of clean. Our server was on her A game, professional, thoughtful, friendly and she anticipated rather than waiting to be flagged down. The food was delicious as well as affordable. I never really took notice of the atmosphere in other Applebee’s but I did at this one. It was very relaxing and calm. No one was shouting from the kitchen, the servers weren’t yelling about their dishes, no loud bangs and thuds from cleaning either. I didn’t realize how much I actually appreciated that.“

Our server was Warren and the cook staff stayed to make sure everything was good. He had already worked a 12 hr. shift and was very friendly. we really appreciated it. thanks warren.“

“The view is worth the price of admission. I was here 4 years ago and enjoyed the beer and pizza, however things have changed. The menu is limited and mostly it's self order and pickup. The beer and drinks are great, the staff are friendly but the food is marginal at best, simply put, Gordon foods bulk supply served to order.
Come for the beer ,the view and the staff, consider food elsewhere“
