“Best Chinese food around and I truly mean that. Tried every Chinese restaurant within a 30 mile radius and absolutely none of them compare to Kwans. Not to mention they have never gotten my order wrong which is truly crazy. Iv probably placed over 1k orders over the 20 years iv been coming here and never even forgota sweet and sour. Very friendly staff I always walk out smiling. Truly love this place. ❤️“

“If you are planning to h get vegetarian food here, it can be a bit hit and miss. There has not been a lot of variety unless you also eat fish. Otherwise they have a veggie stir fry, fried rice, vegetables chow mein and spring rolls. The service is generally nice but they are trying to move you along. The atmosphere is ok.

Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian options unless you eat seafood and then they often have different shrimp dishes. Otherwise you will have veggie stir fry, vegetable fried rice, vegetables chow mein, and spring rolls.“

“All I can say is WOW!!! This is truly a Mom and Pop hole in the wow, and likely some of the best Almond Boneless Chicken I've had in terms of flavor! I made the "mistake" of ordering a dinner sized portion, thinking that the lunch size wouldn't be enough, but I was mistaken by a long shot. I wish I lived out this way as I'd likely order at least once a week!“

“We have dined for breakfast on various occasions. The tastes of the foods was amazing. The presentation of the plates was breath taking, absolutely beautiful. The only shortfall we found in the restaurant was the BLINDING sun on the East side windows. A good set of adjustable blinds would be a welcomed addition on those East side windows. All in all, the food was so good and so hot, the presentation was beautifully displayed and the staff were friendly and well experienced. We will come back and recommend restaurant to others.“

“This is our family's absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. They give you a very large portions of their super delicious food at a reasonable rate. And I'm not embellishing, I literally don't have to cook for the next 2 days when we get food from here. The employees especially the gentleman that always answers the phone and cashes you out are so friendly! Plus they have cool live plants and some fish tanks also atmosphere while you're waiting since it's not a dine in restaurant. Keep up the wonderful work New Hong Kong Inn and staff!“

“This place is way better than another places in Wyandotte (China Star). This is what i expect when I order typical 'Chinese food'. Some other places try to put their own twist and / or spin on normal dishes but this place does it right.

“Been going to the China club since I lived here for about 15 years always have great service great food I highly recommend basically any of the dishes chicken with mushrooms and pea pods are one of my favorites as well as the sweet and sour chicken and beef and broccoli always delicious always very hot when you order carryout wonderful experience“

“The food was amazing! The portions are gigantic, especially for the price. It's carry out only, so the atmosphere doesn't even matter. “I've been going here since I was a kid, I am 28 now. The food is cooked very well, not too salty. The almond chicken is my favorite, but the noodles and other dishes are fantastic also. They have the best jumbo egg rolls compared to any other restaurant. Try the Hot and Sour soup!“

“Really nice folks and beautiful interesting interior. Been on my list opening 4 months ago. Ordered Pupu Platter, Chinese Scallion Pancakes, Large Chinese Veggies Soup and Chicken Egg Foo Young. Surprised when eating inside no plates or silverware. Everything brought out in to go containers that's okay. Absolutely fantastic Delicious Scallion Pancakes not found in many places. The quart of Spot packed full was good except broth zero flavor like water. Chicken Egg Foo Young nothing like ever had weird crunchy patties with very small amount of gravy. The very good Rice and a mega amount. Egg Roll spot on Wonderful. The bad absolutely worse ever Pupu Platter Chicken Wings dry, Crab Rangoon Yuk, Shrimp heavy batter couldn't taste Shrimp. Ribs just ok, Spring Rolls a winner and what they call Teriyaki Beef I know as Balamaki was great. I'm willing to give them another chance to change my 3 star rating. Great effort by cook just not up to par with dozen other Chinese restaurants in the area.“

“Food is always fresh and their not cheap they load their out containers to the max. Delicious food! Never ate inside so can't comment on that but take out never had a problem. Prices are good 👍 everything is so expensive but what can you do. All in all give them a try good eating 😋“

“This is my first visit to Mandarin Kitchen. I ordered #4 almond chicken combination with wonton soup and egg roll and hot tea. The almond chicken was pretty good topped with brown gravy. Wonton soup and egg roll was nice and hot and (egg roll was) crispy. 4 and 1/2 stars.“

It was delicious and even had goodies in the rice, like onions and green onions. It was great! The spring roll that came with the dinners was also delicious. “It's hard to review a Chinese restaurant as everyone has a different take on what the food is supposed to taste like. However, the food was fresh and delicious. I got the Almond Chicken with beef fried rice. The chicken was crispy, moist, seasoned great and did not taste like dirty oil, and the gravy was homemade. The beef fried rice was fried but not dry, tasted of beef with lots of chunks and had lots of bean sprouts. The egg roll was huge, full of bean sprouts and again, did not taste of dirty oil, also came with homemade plum sauce and not the cheap duck sauce packets. I would have knocked them a half star for high prices but you get what you pay for so 5 it is.“

I don't have a lot to say but would highly suggest going in.Firstly, the food wasn't terrible, but not as flavorful as other locations that I've visited.Also, my fountain drink tasted extremely watered down. If I had to go again , I think it makes a difference when you go inside. Drive thru was fast workers friendly. Food, just okay.“
