“Ordered online from Allen Park at 6:05. Email states ordered would be ready at 6:25. Arrived at 6:28 and ordered wasn’t even started yet! They said they were busy. I should have been next since I was in the store but they continued to wait on everyone else and then waited on me! I tip 20% for carry out and since service didn’t warrant a tip, I want that refunded. Wrong bread on my sub was wrong, no big deal. Still good sub. I’m upset due to the fact of what is the point of ordering online if the order “doesn’t jump the line?”. Won’t happen again.EDIT: I talked to Brenda the manager and she was apologetic and offered me a remake of my order. She explained it was a new employee and he wasn’t familiar with the online orders and there was a call off that night. I appreciate the honesty and will visit this location again.“

“Very quick due to how not many people eat here because of it being a hospital, very professional the man working today was very friendly and communicative which I liked, he was upbeat as if nothing bothered him. The sub was amazing, but it could have used a little more meat on one side of it.“

“I tried really hard to find Google reviews for this restaurant but I could not locate it so I will leave my review here. I'm a little late but I'll keep my promise. My boyfriend and I had lunch here yesterday and it was such a nice experience. The '80s and '90s theme is so cool! and the girl behind the counter who took our order was as sweet as could be. I wish I couldn't remember the name of the store owner, and I should have written it down, but what a genuine nice guy! The food was superior! I had the chicken and bacon ranch wrap which was so large that I had to take half of it with me. My boyfriend's Ringo Burger was so delicious and so fresh tasting. We also had the cajun fries and he generously offered a cup of French onion soup for us to try. All I can say is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back again! “Mike’s Famous Ham Place made the New York Times list of “The 26 Best Dishes We Ate Across the U.S. in 2024”. Definitely deserving of all the attention!! I luv ham, but usually it’s too salty for my taste and for my kidneys. But we had breakfast there today and the ham was absolutely perfect!! Super tasty, not salty, huge portions! - hand-carved from a whole ham right in front of you. Perfect eggs and good coffee, too. It’s a small place, as in like very small – just a row of swivel chairs set against your typical vintage (but clean and well-maintained) diner counter. Friendly folks behind the counter and friendly customers, too! Check it out sometime. And btw they sell ham bones for soup: $5 a bag! PS they only take cash. I'm definitely going back.“

“Right from the entrance, cheechos had my attention. the decor is modern and welcoming, I walked in and was greeted by not only friendly owners but also great customers. the menu had me drooling trying to decide on what to try, I choose the cheechos original sandwich and I was not disappointed! it was literally a perfect sandwich. i noted to myself that the restaurant was very clean, right down to the baseboards. great job cheechos! I'm a returning customer.“

When I let Malayna know that I was traveling back home today, and wanted to travel with my corn beef she immediately went into “let me help her have an amazing experience.” She recommended that I purchase it by the pound to save money as well as stating you’ll want more if you simply by the sandwich. “Been looking for a good veggie sub in Windsor Essex for a while. In the gta McKay's was my goto as it was hard for others to compete with at the time a 6$ 12 inch veggie that was loaded up. Well we bought these with the recent promos and I must say these taste amazing. My whole family loves the vegetarian sub here. Wish the prices were a little less but thankfully the promos help. The staff and location have been amazing. Always clean and super polite.“

“I don’t come here often, but when i do it’s always great. I’ve never had a bad sub or a bad experience here. These people treat their customers with upmost respect and it’s very heart warming. It’s hard to get nice people now a days people are so mean. i was waiting to be helped and this guy came in rushed over and helped me right away at 4:08 pm on july 23. Thank you. I came from a 14 hr shift, i had a really bad headache and i just wanted to eat and sleep. He treated me with respect and if you ever see this i thank you so much and i hope he gets recognized for this review because he truly deserves something. Thank you for making me smile and just being a decent human being to me. You never know what someone’s going through. After waiting and watching others, who arrived after us, get their food, ours was finally found in a take out bag.

“Upkeep of the facility was lacking some was my initial impression. The staff was friendly and offered some recommendations for new customers. They do store their bread in clear trashbags, which was not the best presentation. The subs are surprisingly large so don't let the price be a shock. I believe the prices to be fair for the amount of food you recieve. It did seem to have a steady flow of customers ordering while I dinned in. The food was good but, it isn't my typical "go to" sub styles or toppings I prefer.“

“We’ve been coming here since it opened, subs are delicious, you get a good amount for the price. The atmosphere is great. Everyone is beyond friendly and helpful. The store is clean.
They got rid of mushrooms, which I loved but I get that if it’s not ordered enough, it’s not worth keeping on the menu.
My one missing star is because a number of times the number of the sub is missing on the subs and we have to open all of the
subs and try and figure out whose is whose which is extremely annoying, when my husband is getting ready to leave for work, so he didn’t want to open his subs yet.
If this is fixed on the next couple of orders then I will add the remaining star. ⭐️“

“Finally made it back to Spy's after more than a decade. Have very fond memories of the Riverside location. Today I ordered my old usual, Chicken Caesar Pita and a Smoothie (with raspberries not banana). Was very pleased the meal was exactly the same - delicious. Hopefully I will be back soon.“
