“During our 6 month stay in the Saline, MI area, Sushi Dabu was easily the best and our favorite restaurant to eat at. The couple that own/ operate the restaurant are so amazing, wonderful, professional, and extremely friendly. They made us feel as though we all had been friends for years. I lived in Okinawa and visited Korea a lot over the years and can very honestly and confidently say their food is easily comparable to the amazing local foods I ate while in those beautiful countries. Thank you so much for being such welcoming hosts and please know, if/ when we can back to Michigan, we Will be coming by to say hi and enjoy your amazing cuisine.“

“Value of Aki Love Boat is wonderful, however their sushi rice has no flavor every time when I visit there. I wonder if they just use plain non-vinegar rice.
Our waitress had some difficulties getting our orders right but it was fixed in the end.“

I ordered a fried pork （Tonkatsu), the portion was HUGE, and it was accompanied by rice and miso soup. Even can’t finish by myself! It’s flavor is authentic, very authentic Japanese food. Way better than other japanese restaurants.
The decoration is also warm and japanese-style, with wood tables and floors, there are some anime characters on the wall“

“Four of us came to this restaurant right after graduation. We were offered limited graduation menu. We ordered pretty much all meals on the menu. Drinks were good, food was OK and service was good. It was expensive and I felt like you paid for ambiance. Had heard a lot about this place but at the end it was disappointing overall“
