“During our 6 month stay in the Saline, MI area, Sushi Dabu was easily the best and our favorite restaurant to eat at. The couple that own/ operate the restaurant are so amazing, wonderful, professional, and extremely friendly. They made us feel as though we all had been friends for years. I lived in Okinawa and visited Korea a lot over the years and can very honestly and confidently say their food is easily comparable to the amazing local foods I ate while in those beautiful countries. Thank you so much for being such welcoming hosts and please know, if/ when we can back to Michigan, we Will be coming by to say hi and enjoy your amazing cuisine.“

“We come to Aki Sushi about once a week, and it’s always a great experience. My sister and I love their shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice both are flavorful and cooked just right. It’s hard to find really good fried rice in this area, so when we found this place, we stopped looking anywhere else.
We also usually order some tuna rolls or golden California rolls, along with a seaweed salad, which is always fresh and delicious. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently good.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and we always feel comfortable when we come in. It’s become one of our favorite spots, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!“

“We had a wonderful dinner experience. Our cocktails were delightful and the food was delicious. Our food was delayed in the kitchen (something we barely noticed) and the manager gave us a discount on our meal to ensure we were satisfied. I’d call that going “above and beyond”. Highly recommend.“

The chirashi poke bowl is very well balanced in the sweet and savory, the rice is perfectly made and the sauce is present without drowning out the flavor of the fish.

Was in town for the art fair and had a great meal here with my daughter, who loves Salmon sashimi. I had a few rolls myself, and we both loved every bite. Also- the miso soup was outstanding!

It was expensive and I felt like you paid for ambiance. Had heard a lot about this place but at the end it was disappointing overall“

“This is one of our favorite Japanese and sushi restaurants in the area. While we don’t go there often, we go to eat there every time we are in Ann Arbor. My favorite is the spicy tuna or salmon bowl. All ingredients are balanced with the right amount of the spicy sauce.“
