“Food was good but the staff must not understand English or something. Ordered food and when it was brought out the staff did not clearly explain which order was what. When we asked they looked at us like we were stupid. We tried to tell them something was wrong and they told us they were just going to charge us extra to make up for their error. Found that very suspect. Also the turkey sausage is not turkey sausage it is actually cut up pieces of a real turkey 🤣“

“They have great food with tons of vegan options and a wonderful patio! Today I ordered my favorite dish a roti wrap and it accidentally came with chicken instead of the vegan chickpea version. That’s never happened to me there before. They felt really bad about it and made me a new one and comped my meal and that of my friend. That is above and beyond an excellent customer service. “I got G20. Grilled pork platter. Savory, flavorful and textured in all the right ways. In disbelief that it's vegan. Portions are huge. Husband got the pad thai - it's everything you'd want in a pad thai, including that wok grill flavor. Food came out fast. Really comfortable atmosphere. Family friendly. Great service.“

“I have been visiting Emily's since I was a kid. The food is authentic, fresh and of high quality. Portions have gotten smaller and prices are a bit high but as is at most places now. We went this last visit with a large group of 18 for a family birthday party, so we reserved the seating area upstairs. Our waiter was accommodating and friendly. We weren't able to get every order complete because they ran out of meat pies but they did substitute to our liking. One meal was missing but the charge was taken off the bill. We did end up staying half an hour past closing but the staff did not make us feel rushed or unwanted. We did apologize, thank them and tip accordingly. So with a few mistakes we made due just fine and I will always be a returning customer. Excellent food as always!“

The dishes come out delicious every time. It makes dining incredibly easy when I know I can choose anything on the menu and it will be great. The service is also incredible. Knowledgeable, prompt, and friendly staff. The dining and bar areas are equally beautiful in distinctive ways. Very pleasing to the eye. “Food, atmosphere, and drinks were all fantastic. The Owner/Chef Joel has created something special at this gem nestled in a Minneapolis neighborhood. We had a large party for a friends pre-wedding dinner and the staff handled it great. From the apps to the desert, you can’t go wrong with anything you pick off the menu. We were all tasting each others food by the end of the night wanting to try EVERYTHING! Some have stated a smaller menu and prices, but then say the food blew them away…I for one like to pay to keep amazing food and ingredients an option. Can’t wait to bring my wife and other family members in the Twin Cities to do it again.“
