“The other week, I was in the northern metro suburbs and started to get hungry. I drove past Sarna's Grill in Columbia Heights and, judging by the building's welcoming appearance, decided to park and give it a try (though I know that doesn't necessarily mean the food or service will be good).\n\nThat said, my decision was bolstered by the spacious, inviting interior, wide aisles, booths filled with couples and families, and the waitstaff delivering trays of appetizing food.\n\nA friendly waitperson greeted me at my table and offered me a menu with a variety of options, from burgers and salads to complete meals, including pasta and hot turkey or beef.\n\nI chose the BLT on artisan whole wheat with a side of coleslaw. It looked so tempting that I took a bite of half the sandwich before realizing I hadn't taken a picture of the food. What you see in the attached image is the mouth-watering inside of the delicious BLT.\n\nAs it turned out, I had an hour to kill. After finishing my meal, I asked if I could hang out for a while. The friendly waitperson said I could stay as long as I wanted and brought me a cup of coffee to pass the time.\n\nThat kindness made my day and earned her a nice tip. Plus, I promised to return the next time I'm in the neighborhood.“

“We went to Cossetta's in St. Paul, one of our favorites. You walk up to a good line and decide between fresh made salads, sandwiches or incredible Italian entrees and pizza slices. There is extra seating upstairs. Don't miss the dessert shop with delicious Gelato, cannolis, cookies and more. There is also a deli onsite.“

“Great first experience!! Ron let me sample sauces, loved ALL of them. He even brought me a boneless chicken wing sample with sweet honey sauce and it was incredible. I went with classic medium buffalo and it was wonderful but I look forward to trying them all in the next couple months. Thai Chili & Mango Habanero were 🔥. Combo came with fries, 5 wings, dipping sauce and a soda all around $12, which I thought was pretty reasonable especially the quality & size of bone-in wings and fresh cut fries! Will be back.“

“Very yummy burger the fries were delicious the shakes were good. The guy at the register was so nice had a smile on his face every time he greeted customers and it was busy and very warm on Sunday 9/15. My husband and were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and we're both glad we stopped there. It was great 👍“

“@punchpizza is one of my go to comfort foods. For the good times and the tough times, grabbing a pizza from Punch always does the trick.

Obviously folks know about this place but I still want to highlight them because longtime fan. Fun fact, each location has hidden cat figurines in their restaurants. Generally in the ceilings. My stop tonight was at my local St. Paul location. They have a whopping 12 locations in MN all listed in one of the last photos.

My go to order that won my heart:

“This place blew my expectations out of the water. How is this seafood joint in the middle of the country serving top class seafood with flavors that keep your mouth watering for more.

The atmospher was great with outside and I side seating.

The lobster bisque hit on every taste bud and now is my favorite in my travels.

You need to go and I would rate this one of the top 3 restaurants within the city!“

“HEADS UP VEGETARIANS!!! If you order a plain cheese pizza with wild rice on it, or a "hog in the bog with no sausage", the wild rice still has sausage mixed in. I have no idea why. It's not indicated as such on the website and several employees *do not know* that the wild rice comes with sausage mixed in and cannot be included separately as vegetarian. This is my one and only complaint and it breaks my heart because everything else is awesome but this lack of communication around seemingly vegetarian-safe ingredients is quite frankly a health risk.“

“I have been to this location numerous times and it has never failed to impress me. The pizza always tastes fresh and it nice to have additional sides to put on. Salads are very flavorful and I enjoy the side of bread as well. It can get busy sometimes so plan accordingly. Staff does a great job to ensure everyone gets a table when it is busy.“

They essentially do what Chipotle does- walk through their assembly line of ingredients, tell them exactly what you want, they toss it in a wood fired oven and it’s done in like 5 minutes! It was sooo good and they only charged $10 for a small za and my drink! Definitely going back soon!“

“Had to ask about something due to an allergy. Waitress immediately brought a Manager to address any questions and they quickly answered any concerns. Because the allergy is to shrimp and my wife loves shrimp they were careful to bring all food on separate trips to avoid cross contamination and were very respectful and polite about the situation. Food came quickly, service was friendly and everything was delicious. It was slow as it was early into dinner so that may have factored into the speed but the attentiveness was impressive. Apologies I didn't get the waitress or manager's names but they did a great job!“

“Decent salads, and many good toppings to choose from. They have a menu or you can build your own. I personally enjoy their Classic Caesar, but if you want to add some chicken, it's an upcharge. To be honest, the only drawback to this place is the price. $10 - $15 for a simple salad is a little much in my opinion. However, it's fast, and good for anyone trying to lose a few inches around the waist. Sadly, if you make it a regular occurrence, your wallet may end up getting thinner faster than you.

Still, I'd recommend the place. Quick service, decent quality food, good if you're grabbing something quick to take back to the office.“
