“The other week, I was in the northern metro suburbs and started to get hungry. I drove past Sarna's Grill in Columbia Heights and, judging by the building's welcoming appearance, decided to park and give it a try (though I know that doesn't necessarily mean the food or service will be good).\n\nThat said, my decision was bolstered by the spacious, inviting interior, wide aisles, booths filled with couples and families, and the waitstaff delivering trays of appetizing food.\n\nA friendly waitperson greeted me at my table and offered me a menu with a variety of options, from burgers and salads to complete meals, including pasta and hot turkey or beef.\n\nI chose the BLT on artisan whole wheat with a side of coleslaw. It looked so tempting that I took a bite of half the sandwich before realizing I hadn't taken a picture of the food. What you see in the attached image is the mouth-watering inside of the delicious BLT.\n\nAs it turned out, I had an hour to kill. After finishing my meal, I asked if I could hang out for a while. The friendly waitperson said I could stay as long as I wanted and brought me a cup of coffee to pass the time.\n\nThat kindness made my day and earned her a nice tip. Plus, I promised to return the next time I'm in the neighborhood.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants. Great food and lots of vegetarian options. I never miss to order momos, garlic naan, and kataar aaloo made with jackfruit. Portions are good too! The owner of this restaurant is very friendly and always stops by to ask if everything was good. Definitely a great place to try Nepalese cuisine.“

Combo came with fries, 5 wings, dipping sauce and a soda all around $12, which I thought was pretty reasonable especially the quality & size of bone-in wings and fresh cut fries! Will be back.“

The guy at the register was so nice had a smile on his face every time he greeted customers and it was busy and very warm on Sunday 9/15. “@punchpizza is one of my go to comfort foods. For the good times and the tough times, grabbing a pizza from Punch always does the trick.

Obviously folks know about this place but I still want to highlight them because longtime fan. Fun fact, each location has hidden cat figurines in their restaurants. Generally in the ceilings. My stop tonight was at my local St. Paul location. They have a whopping 12 locations in MN all listed in one of the last photos.

“HEADS UP VEGETARIANS!!! If you order a plain cheese pizza with wild rice on it, or a "hog in the bog with no sausage", the wild rice still has sausage mixed in. I have no idea why. It's not indicated as such on the website and several employees *do not know* that the wild rice comes with sausage mixed in and cannot be included separately as vegetarian. This is my one and only complaint and it breaks my heart because everything else is awesome but this lack of communication around seemingly vegetarian-safe ingredients is quite frankly a health risk.“

“I have only heard about this place due to the club that opens there at 10, and decided to try the dinner menu with my mom. I was not disappointed! We both got a beverage, appetizer and an entree. There was a slight issue with one of the entrees and our server and manager took great care of us. Will highly recommend this to other friends and family!“

“Decent salads, and many good toppings to choose from. They have a menu or you can build your own. I personally enjoy their Classic Caesar, but if you want to add some chicken, it's an upcharge. To be honest, the only drawback to this place is the price. $10 - $15 for a simple salad is a little much in my opinion. However, it's fast, and good for anyone trying to lose a few inches around the waist. Sadly, if you make it a regular occurrence, your wallet may end up getting thinner faster than you.

Still, I'd recommend the place. Quick service, decent quality food, good if you're grabbing something quick to take back to the office.“

I always choose the endless salad but my guest ordered the soup and it looked great. I plan to try it next time.
The restaurant was very noisy, though we had a booth in the back and that cut some irritating sound. I'm older, so perhaps I'm overly sensitive.

“Visited here with three companions for an early dinner. I arrived early and was seated in a nice booth, informing Maria, my smiling happy server, that I would like her to order for me. After delivering a basket of the pleasantly salty/garlicy breadsticks (the first of three) my companions arrived and ordered. My diet coke with fruit was served up, and the big bowl of Caesar salad arrived (the first of two) fresh and delicious. Maria surprised me with a plate of Steak & Shrimp Bucatini, the best thing we ate that day. Also ordered were the Lasagna Fritta as a shared appetizer that received unanimous approval, the Chicken Parm, and Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara. My only complaint was that my was served very warm instead of hot. It was definitely a pleasant experience, Maria was perfectly attentive and helpful, and we ended up taking up space in that booth for almost two hours laughing and having a great time.“

Staff was helpful and friendly when ordering. Menu was easy to navigate. Place was very clean.

Note: The first thing we look for when we walk into any establishment is the front door. If it’s dirty, we’re gone! Again, this place did not disappoint.

Pizza was ready very fast with complimentary toppings like hot honey.

“Food was all fresh, prepared on site, top quality indigenous food ingredients. Friendly staff (KBIC), assortment of sodas. I’d recommend the maple seltzer, and tangerine lion mane Headwater. The bison soup had a nice spice and kick with greens and vegetables. The pear, strawberry manoomin salad was excellent (seeds and red onion are nice touch). Red Lake Walleye fish tacos were a heck of way to finish off my Anishinaabe food experience of memories from tribal gatherings with our foods. Background music was a throwback and nice touch. Nishin! “Exceptional and efficient service, I came in on a busy Saturday and received my order in under 2 minutes, maybe quicker.

Everyone was pleasant and chatty, it seemed like a great place to work.

The espresso was nice and dark with cocoa and caramel notes. Their menu had a very workhorse vibe, nothing too novel or frivolous, just solid coffee.

The young man at the register was helpful, more than most I've seen in quite some time.
I brought my 2 young kids, and we needed things here and there and he had no problem assisting every time.
