“The other week, I was in the northern metro suburbs and started to get hungry. I drove past Sarna's Grill in Columbia Heights and, judging by the building's welcoming appearance, decided to park and give it a try (though I know that doesn't necessarily mean the food or service will be good).\n\nThat said, my decision was bolstered by the spacious, inviting interior, wide aisles, booths filled with couples and families, and the waitstaff delivering trays of appetizing food.\n\nA friendly waitperson greeted me at my table and offered me a menu with a variety of options, from burgers and salads to complete meals, including pasta and hot turkey or beef.\n\nI chose the BLT on artisan whole wheat with a side of coleslaw. It looked so tempting that I took a bite of half the sandwich before realizing I hadn't taken a picture of the food. What you see in the attached image is the mouth-watering inside of the delicious BLT.\n\nAs it turned out, I had an hour to kill. After finishing my meal, I asked if I could hang out for a while. The friendly waitperson said I could stay as long as I wanted and brought me a cup of coffee to pass the time.\n\nThat kindness made my day and earned her a nice tip. Plus, I promised to return the next time I'm in the neighborhood.“

“The food was delicious and the owner is very kind and attentive. Wonderful all around and inexpensive! We got the coconut curry chicken and shrimp, curry lamb, curry goat, and garlic naan, all I would highly recommend. The bathrooms are spacious with a changing table and outside the bathroom in the basement in a box is a prayer rug, both of which are inclusive and caring touches for a small family restaurant. Will definitely be back!“

“We went to Cossetta's in St. Paul, one of our favorites. You walk up to a good line and decide between fresh made salads, sandwiches or incredible Italian entrees and pizza slices. There is extra seating upstairs. Don't miss the dessert shop with delicious Gelato, cannolis, cookies and more. There is also a deli onsite.“

I went with classic medium buffalo and it was wonderful but I look forward to trying them all in the next couple months. Thai Chili & Mango Habanero were 🔥. Combo came with fries, 5 wings, dipping sauce and a soda all around $12, which I thought was pretty reasonable especially the quality & size of bone-in wings and fresh cut fries! Will be back.“

“A great tasting burger with great outdoor area but I would skip the fry chicken and stick to the burgers overall a great experience if you're looking for a great burger and a must if you are in the area just know that parking is a bit difficult to find“

“Very yummy burger the fries were delicious the shakes were good. The guy at the register was so nice had a smile on his face every time he greeted customers and it was busy and very warm on Sunday 9/15. My husband and were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and we're both glad we stopped there. It was great 👍“

“@punchpizza is one of my go to comfort foods. For the good times and the tough times, grabbing a pizza from Punch always does the trick.

Obviously folks know about this place but I still want to highlight them because longtime fan. Fun fact, each location has hidden cat figurines in their restaurants. Generally in the ceilings. My stop tonight was at my local St. Paul location. They have a whopping 12 locations in MN all listed in one of the last photos.

“One hell of a lobster roll. A bit pricey but left me full and happy. Jonathan was great behind the bar and was super friendly even though I think I was one of the first /only people to sit down inside. I was there around 11:30 / noon so I’m sure the evening brings around a much more lively atmosphere.“

“HEADS UP VEGETARIANS!!! If you order a plain cheese pizza with wild rice on it, or a "hog in the bog with no sausage", the wild rice still has sausage mixed in. I have no idea why. It's not indicated as such on the website and several employees *do not know* that the wild rice comes with sausage mixed in and cannot be included separately as vegetarian. This is my one and only complaint and it breaks my heart because everything else is awesome but this lack of communication around seemingly vegetarian-safe ingredients is quite frankly a health risk.“

“We tried Young Man today at the Japanese festival in Como Zoo. The line was long but oh my, so worth it. Sweet Moo was delicious, Hawaiian Shrimpy too. Takoyaki maybe needed couple more minutes of frying, but I got it, they were really busy that afternoon.“

“We absolutely love wood fire pizza and this place did not disappoint.

Staff was helpful and friendly when ordering. Menu was easy to navigate. Place was very clean.

Note: The first thing we look for when we walk into any establishment is the front door. If it’s dirty, we’re gone! Again, this place did not disappoint.

Pizza was ready very fast with complimentary toppings like hot honey.

Localy owned and operated and patriotic! Much respect! 🫡 🇺🇸

“I have been to this location numerous times and it has never failed to impress me. The pizza always tastes fresh and it nice to have additional sides to put on. Salads are very flavorful and I enjoy the side of bread as well. It can get busy sometimes so plan accordingly. Staff does a great job to ensure everyone gets a table when it is busy.“

“Great service provided today by server Deja. She was very attentive yet left us alone to visit. When she found out we were celebrating a birthday, she was very sweet and offered a free desert and her crewmembers to sing. We declined the singing but the dessert was fabulous. We actually tried both the Chocolate Lasagne and the Black Tie Mousse cake and both were great. Also a manager did come by to say hello and see how everything was. I hadn't been to this location for probably 10 years so we were very happy with this experience. Thank you for making our birthday celebration so very special!“

“Decent salads, and many good toppings to choose from. They have a menu or you can build your own. I personally enjoy their Classic Caesar, but if you want to add some chicken, it's an upcharge. To be honest, the only drawback to this place is the price. $10 - $15 for a simple salad is a little much in my opinion. However, it's fast, and good for anyone trying to lose a few inches around the waist. Sadly, if you make it a regular occurrence, your wallet may end up getting thinner faster than you.

Still, I'd recommend the place. Quick service, decent quality food, good if you're grabbing something quick to take back to the office.“
