“Another amazing meal to celebrate a friend’s birthday (Anne). Niki was our server and from the moment we arrived (90 minutes before our reservation time) we had excellent service and advice. The wine was outstanding (and a bonus, it was Wednesday half price wine day). Split by 3 a bottle was ideal. Anne had the smorgasbord which was a visual sensation and exploded with delicious flavors! Lynn had the beets followed by the asparagus and egg sandwich. All of it was a delicious treat. I had the curry mussels with a side of fritas and as much as I wanted escargot I was full and content. Oh but the cream brûlée shared completed our meal.“

The beer battered fries were outstanding, as well as the chicken wings. Our friends got the flat bread and onion rings. The place was packed for bingo, but our server Lisa did the best she could, and we had a great time.“

“I returned to the Applebee's recently, as my visit a couple of weeks ago had left a great impression. I take back my earlier comments about the service. I was left a bit confused this time. I ordered the "Big Cluckin’ Chicken Sandwich" again, and the food was once more, excellent. However, while taking our order, the waitress mentioned something about her shift was ending, which felt a bit off. Midway through the meal, I asked for more fries, and she brought them out promptly. But then she told me the special I’d ordered wasn’t available anymore despite it still being listed on your website.

I get it, the young lady serving us was ready to end her shift, but claiming the offer was discontinued left me confused and frustrated. I’m not sure if I’ll be back after this.“

“Last night the Buffalo House hosted our company Christmas Party. I can’t find the words to tell you how amazing it was! All of our guests are still raving about the food today! “Honestly, this place deserves 10 stars! My wife and I had reservations for our 15 year wedding anniversary and wow did they go above and beyond!! They had the most delicious food and my wife who has celiac disease had so many options to pick from for food. They made our night so special and I was beyond impressed. “This is truly a hidden gem. Found it through a google search, as it was near a shop we were visiting in Hermantown. Unsuspecting on the outside, cozy warm and friendly on the inside. The food was great and the staff were too. Highly recommend.“

“Sorry, we have not eaten at the chalet, but it is so convenient for going skiing at Spirit Mountain. We noticed the other day almost every table was filled & our friend ordered a delicious wrap there. The chalet has many tables in an area away from thd restaurant, and big picture windows to view the ski hill. A woman in a wheel chair was sitting near thd windows & enjoyed watching the skiiers. I believe the lower challenge has better menu items and a nicer dining area to sit in.

Parking: There are handicapped parking spaces, but an uphill climb to the challet on a cement sidewalk. A person in a wheelchair would need some assistance.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, easy to get around with handicapped accessible bathrooms within the challet. Automatic door openers.“

“We ordered a BBQ chicken salad, bean burger and tots to go, the food was ready for pickup less than 20 minutes after we placed the order and it was fresh and ready to go, decent pricing for what we ordered. Everything was good, the salad could have had more dressing for sure and they did not include silverware or napkins. Not sure if thats standard but it was kinda annoying as we didn't have any at the hotel.“
