“We were visiting in town and wanted some good coffee. We found Edina Coffee Roasters on Google and decided to find it for real. When we arrived we found they had recently opened and were planning on having their grand opening the following week. We ordered 3 Americanos. The coffee was very good! The owner and staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The next time we are in town we will visit again! We give it 5 of 5 stars.“

“What a beautiful, pleasant surprise in Southdale mall. We came just for the saffron ice cream; was not disappointed. The ice cream was smooth and rich. Each bite was infused with rose, pistachios, and saffron. Not overly floral; just enough to leave a lovely, fragrant taste afterwards.

Hubby had a cortado as a chaser. That, too, was beautifully delicious.

We will be back for sure.“

“I’ve been here half a dozen times (parking is kinda difficult lately due to all the construction). I’ve brought friends here. I’ve had the best time, best coffee, and best almond croissants. Sitting outside - front or back - is always a treat. Now that my bicycle is fixed, I can come more often. Love this place!“

“I went here and told the batista I'm still new to coffee and she was very helpful and understanding when I said I was low carb. I got an iced latte with only one shot (she said they normally do two and their espresso is strong) with no sugar added vanilla. It was delicious! I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area. They have indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio at the park that's very cozy. Note that this is in the bottom floor of another building, so it can be a little tricky to find.

They are very attentive, always greet you with a smile and when even you are sad, here you will cheer yourself up not only with nice people, but also with wonderful and tasty coffee. I do however think this specific caribou location needs a revamp with their equipment or something as of the last year or so this locations espresso tends to taste “off” as in bottom of the barrel“

“I’ve been to a lot of Starbucks in my life, and none of them compare to the experience I had at Southdale! Everyone is so friendly that I felt like I could stand there for hours just chatting. After I got my order (probably the quickest out of any Starbucks I’ve ever been to), I decided to sit at the little dining area at the end of the counter. I was only there for, like, fifteen minutes and I was FLABBERGASTED by how horrible so-called “adults” act when they’re ordering coffee!! There was a guy yelling that they put cream in his coffee instead of putting it on the side. The barista apologized and offered to make him another. He wasn’t having any of it. He just kept going on and on about how they “should’ve known” and they “don’t know how much cream he wants.” The barista, again, apologized and offered to get him a new one. He took it and stormed away. During that guy’s little tantrum, the group behind him made their way down to the pick up counter. I guess they ordered a lot of food because it was taking the other barista a minute to gather it all. The next lady in line was absolutely not having it. She kept yelling, “Hey! Can you come take my order? I only want one thing!” The barista told her they’d be with her in just a moment, but she just kept repeating that she only wanted one thing. When she finally placed her order, she was ranting about how waiting was unacceptable and her entire order should be free. I say entire order because the “one thing” she wanted happened to be eight highly customized drinks. She kept ranting while she waited on her massive order, so I left to finish my drink elsewhere. All of this happened in the ten minutes I was there, so I can only imagine how horrible people treat these baristas on a daily basis. They all deserve a Medal of Honor.“

“Baguettes are among my favorites Kouign Aman was something comparable to a honey bun with a way to hard candy shell. Living in Normandy I will say “kouign aman is a labor of love. It can be great or not good, no in between!! Being here I was really missing it. I’ve tried many here in MN and one place has totally blown my mind but the hours are so up and down. Please take your time on a masterpiece patisserie such as the kouign aman!!!!“

“I love caribou. However, their dri KS could be great or whatever depe ding on who makes it. It should be co sisiywmt buy it is not. Also, lately I have had to go back to return my drink because they gave me the wrong drink. When made right I love their drinks“
