The young man host was EXCEPTIONAL that checked me out ( he brought my pizza to my car and went inside to grab extra blue cheese dressing for me.) “This was our 3rd visit to The Cabana Club and, once again, it did not disappoint! We were there with a group of 6 people, and everyone had a great time. Our server was amazing -attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We each tried a different dish and had a variety of drinks and we were all happy with our choices. “-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

“My husband and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here today. It was both of our first times dining at Broders’ and we enjoyed everything about this wonderful experience! Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. Our sweet waitress helped me select the most delectable glass of wine I have ever tasted. Words cannot explain how delicious the pasta was… we lapped up every single drop and were in absolute food heaven. To top it all off… we were treated to a free dessert of our choosing along with two chocolate cocoa truffles on the house!! After we finished our meal we went across the street to their storefront to purchase some pasta and sauce to enjoy at some point in the coming weeks. We will definitely be back for all special occasions and certainly for our two year anniversary. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience and meal this is the place!! Enjoy!“

“My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

“Nice little hole in the wall spot on Central Ave. Busy street makes for easy access by foot, but not car. So it’ll appeal to some but maybe not all. Drinks were great! The apricot old fashioned was phenomenal. Didn’t get food because there wasn’t much of a menu, but smaller items to snack on. Not really a dinner spot but definitely a romantic date spot with great drinks and service. $4 Hamms for HH is excellent.

“This is a great fast food option within easy walking distance of the Doubletree Inn. I ordered the #40, a white pizza with buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto, and arugula. It was great—the pizza looked big but the dough was thin, so it wasn’t as heavy as some pizzas. The dough had a lovely tang and chewiness, and I loved the toppings. The crisped arugula had a great smokiness to it. My husband had a pepperoni pizza with peppers, and he said it had a nice, small kick of spice. The dining room was narrow but had a lot of tables without feeling cramped. The patio area looked great, but unfortunately it was raining during our visit.“

“This is one of the best gluten free and healthy restaurants in the five state area. The food tastes homemade and the dining area has a lot of natural light with big windows and a view of Bde Maka Ska (Lake Calhoun).
My personal favorites are their egg sandwiches on delicious focaccia bread. All the bowls are great too. Their business continues to grow and I’m looking forward to their new Edina store.

“Absolutely amazing restaurant! I have been twice and both times left absolutely satisfied! I am a gluten free girly (MCAS... It isn't fun) and their attention to GF restrictions is the best I have seen. Their bread is so good! Pasta is divine! The creme brulee is out of this world. The flavors in their sauces is perfection! The wines they paired with my dishes both times were spot on as well. Be willing to spend some money but it is worth every penny!
