50 Best American Restaurants near Farmington

“I wanted to treat my wife to a steak for her birthday at Texas Roadhouse for lunch but found out after arrival that they don't open until 3pm. BTW their website says they open at 11am! I googled 'steak restaurant near me' and found Farmington Steak House 15mins away. Took the family there and it was surprisingly amazing for a small spot. The prices were very reasonable and we got more food than we could finish. We plan on going back next week.“

“I like coming in here every once in a while to do Vingo and sometimes Trivia with my buddy. It’s a fun little bar with good food. I get a little picky about my food and drinks and the staff is good enough to help me with what I want. Thanks for putting up with me. Haha“

“Overall on a scale of 1-10. I'd give daves hot chicken a SOLID 6/10.
Sliders are the best in my opinion.
Chicken tenders/sliders are Large and filling.
Mild: NO heat
Medium: NO heat
Hot: mild heat
Extra hot: Medium heat.
Carolina reaper: Hot.

My only complaint would be prices.
38$ for 2 Sliders, 3 tenders, 2 fries, 1 bottled coke.“

If you like sports bars, this has a great atmosphere. Lots of tv's and they're actually mounted at a level where you can see them from anywhere in the establishment. Just a cool vibe too.

“Yesterday my family celebrated my retirement with a family lunch at my favorite restaurant - Red Robin in Apple Valley. Most of the group had never been to a Red Robin but they are now big fans just like me. The food was exceptional, Heather (our server) was fantastic, and even though we were the only ones who knew it was a special occasion, we were treated to the highest level of customer service! “Celebrated 2 Birthday’s and the food was fabulous. Started with a Blooming Onion which was very good. Shrimp skewers on seasoned rice was excellent along with fresh green broccoli and a salad which I took home. Portions are big. Enough for a second meal.And a complimentary ice cream sundae. Fresh made rolls were excellent as well. Service was superb. Fun place to celebrate any occasion The other 3 people at our table enjoyed the shrimp, 6 oz filet and salmon. Will definitely be returning. Very attentive staff!“

“Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! “I went to meet a friend today at Apple Valley Perkins. The lot was full. I am disabled. Both senior citizen spots were filled. Three of us got there about the same time so we pulled into spots next to the senior citizen spots. One of the cashiers (long gray hair)came out throwing her arms up in the air and motioning for us to leave. I rolled down my window and she hollered, "THOSE AREN'T PARKING SPOTS!! THERE AREN'T ANY LINES!" She motions like she was making lines on the pavement The other two cars LEFT! I stayed ONLY because I was meeting a friend. SERIOUSLY? This is how you treat your customers? My friend showed up and she parked where I was going to park. The hostess was on the phone so she didn't control the parking. A while later, she came around to all the tables asking who owned the white vehicle out in the lot. We frequent Perkins a lot and have parked in those spots before with no problems. A walk from Petco is a little to much. Especially for a disabled person.“

“My husband and 2 year old granddaughter dined in tonight at this location. A group of 5 teenagers were causing a disruption in the dining area. Bouncing a basketball and throwing trash on the floor, left trash on 3 tables then they moved to a different table. An employee asked them to please pick up their trash and they got mouthy with her and started swearing and refused to pick up the trash. 2 men at separate times went up to them and told them to knock it off or leave. An EMPLOYEE of Culvers named NOAH who was working also got mouthy with one of the customers and was laughing and siding with the disruptive teenagers. (one said he was 14). i sure hope i never see that employee NOAH at this location again or i will not be at that restaurant again.“

“Great experience overall. Food is appropriately priced, and everyone is nice.

During one of my visits, they accidentally dropped my order from my party's queue, but they immediately recognized the mistake, apologized sincerely, and even gave me my meal for free without me asking.“

“A local Rochester, MN restaurant chain -now branching out to a new location- Newt’s (Apple Valley) brings everything we love about the Rochester locations (GREAT burgers, beers, and unlimited popcorn!) to our little corner of the Metro. “I love coming to Cowboy Jacks in Apple Valley! The staff is amazing and I love the food and happy hour specials. I also want to give a shout out to one of the managers, Calvin who intervened when he saw a man at the bar harassing me. I didn’t even have to ask him, but he could tell I was uncomfortable and asked the man to leave. It is so refreshing to go to a bar where the staff truly cares about the well-being of their customers! Great work to this whole team! I will most definitely be back!! ?“

“Recommend this Friday night fish fry. Plenty of seating altho the kitchen had a hard time keeping up. The food was hot, breading on the fish was crisp and the flaky white fish inside was delish. Onion rings were great as were the waffle fries, worth the upcharge altho the regular fries looked fine. Server took our orders as quickly as they could on a busy Friday night. It took about 30 minutes from order to plates delivered but we were warned that it might take awhile. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, checking on us frequently. We will be back!“

“Very disappointed! For the first time I placed an order online for a delivery at this restaurant. I ordered Grape leaves, The Lamb Experience, Filet Mignon Kabob skewer, extra dinner salad, extra order of rice, extra pita bread and some additional items. Food arrived on time, but barely warm and with some missing items. All extras that I ordered and paid for were missing. That didn't upset me as much as, when I called them to let them know, I was missing items, I got an answering machine, so I left a message. A few hours later, I called again and left another message. So, since Tuesday, I am still waiting for a call back. I don't expect a reimbursement at this point, but a simple call back and an apology, would be nice! I would not recommend, or will I ever order from them again!“

“I've been here twice and both time we were seated quickly even though it was packed. The food didn't blow me away, just good. I've ordered their lemonade mixer or something. I forget. The first time I ordered the mango version. They added the toppings per the description. The second time I went, I ordered the pineapple version. They didn't add the toppings. Both times they were packed with customers, so I'm not gonna get too picky here.

Service was always on the move and cleaning up the spaces so it was practically clean all the time. Solid experience overall.“

“We came here allot when they first opened in 2012. We spent the first 2 years as regulars here. Then… we came here twice in a row and they burnt our food to the point of being inedible. Today, after 10 years of avoiding this establishment, and now as a Google reviewer, I decided it was time to go back again. I have nothing bad to say about my visit. Must have better talent in the kitchen these days. Crooked Pint may start seeing me more often than never again.“

“We had our pre reunion party at Baldys Friday night, for class of 1994 in Lakeville. I can't tell you how much fun we had!!! Your staff was wonderful. The excellent salad bar harkened back to the old Steak and Ale, but on a smaller scale.“

“I went to Dennys today. May 16th at 4:45 pm Got a cup of coffee to go from a very nice and beautiful brunette waitress. I used the the rest room and on my way there she asked me if I wanted cream and sugar, i said no thank u, came out, and she said coffee was on the house, Wow! That really made my day.
