“I had tried posting this review 2/22/2023, but not sure what I did wrong for it to not be public.

Short review- The staff are always friendly. All 9 flavors I’ve had so far have been delicious and I can’t wait to keep bringing friends to try Snowbing for their first time!
FYI: If you get Snowbing and Cruncheese at the same time you’ll need to pay from two separate registers. They’re right next to each other, so it’s no hassle!

TLDR-
I was so excited for Minnesota’s one and only Korean bingsu place to open! For those who don’t know, bingsu (빙수) is a milk based shaved ice dessert. Many people might have ice shavers to make their own, but it hits different when it’s made with the milk base.
Even though I live about 30 minutes away I’ve been almost 10 times. Snowbing has 10 flavors: Traditional Red Bean, injeolmi, strawberry, green tea red bean, chocolate, oreo, mango, watermelon, yogurt berry, and strawberry cheesecake. Checkout the photos included!

Flavors: The last time I went I finally tried the chocolate one, which I had been holding out on because I was worried it’d be overpoweringly sweet. It wasn’t! I would order it again in a heartbeat. I’ve gone with friends who’ve been worried about trying the yogurt berry because they didn’t want more dairy with the yogurt, but the yogurt is (in my opinion) mainly just drizzled on top for looks. We didn’t think it was too yogurty and really loved this bingsu because of the 3 fruits in it. I have yet to try the strawberry cheesecake before I’ve had them all, but can’t wait to check it off my list.

Pro tip: Eat the bingsu first, theeen get your cruncheese. If you eat the cruncheese first, there won’t be enough space for you to enjoy the bingsu! When I went my first time I was with 3 other friends. We got our own cruncheese then shared 2 different bingsus. I can eat my own bingsu bowl by myself as long as I eat that before any other food.

“Dream burger double smash. Great tasting skirt. Great smash sear. The dream sauce was delicious. I could dip anything in that sauce. Pickles were great and not overpowering. The bun was buttery and held up nice. Dreams fried chicken sandwich with hot honey was off the charts. great flakey crust and buttermilk chicken was juicy! Devoured in seconds.  strawberry 🍓 shake and a chocolate malt hit the spot on this 90 degree + day.“

“This place was good but at the same time not totally what I expected !

I got the lotus biscoff waffle. The waffle itself was tasty - crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I didn't taste a whole lot of biscoff flavor though. There were mainly some crumbles and 2 cookies up top, but otherwise tasted like regular vanilla ice cream with some caramel drizzled.

The bubble waffle wasn't filled all the way and there were empty pockets where ice cream could have been.

The taiyaki looked to be advertised with ice cream inside but I ended up getting the custard one that tasted very egg-like instead of vanilla custard flavored. I love eggs but didn't like the flavor of this much. It may have been my mistake that I didn't read the description properly but there are pictures on the walls of taiyaki with ice cream so I guess I was expecting the flavors to be different.

Otherwise the service was pretty good - they made everything fresh so there is a slight wait but it's not too bad.“

“The $5 cookie isn't worth it? Well maybe as a gift I usually just bake my chocolate chip cookies from the store in my oven and they're just as good. But if you like fancy weird cookies they change their cookies all the time now that's kind of cool and for a gift people do appreciate getting them. But for a cookie you'll have to take out a mortgage I think a box of cookies is probably like 30 bucks or something like that I only got one cookie and it was like $4 or something. But like I said for a gift for your employees, for a friend, someone that's sick, it is a really nice gift to give and to receive. So I recommend it for this purpose not because you're craving a cookie cuz that'll be an expensive crave.

Parking: It's a little strip mall with like four other shops You park right out front and just walk right in.“

“Cold Stone Ice Cream is not only the best ice cream but every time I go there, the wonderful server helps us with our order. She is patient, especially with small children, and always smiling. “Phish Food: This flavor was born in 1997 and is named after a Vermont improvisational rock group. A portion of the royalties from the flavor goes toward environmental efforts in Vermont’s Lake Champlain Watershed, which is great since our current government leadership doesn't seem to care about the environment. The pint’s description is chocolate ice cream with gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls, and fudge fish. When I first began digging through my pint I did not see much of the marshmallow swirls. After mining my way through the frozen treat, I finally found a fair amount. The chocolate ice cream is rich and is complemented nicely by a school of fudgy fish that have a flavor edging closer to dark chocolate. Chocolate lovers should be happily satisfied with this one. It’s almost like a double chocolate fudge ice cream because there’s so much chocolate ice cream & fudge fish as compared to the marshmallow and caramel. Speaking of caramel, the caramel swirls do take the flavor up a notch, but they could be more abundant. Caramel is one of my favorite flavors and the combination with the chocolate and fudge reminds me of a frozen candy bar. The marshmallow swirl has a sweet/cream-like flavor. It is not simply marshmallow flavored ice cream, but texturally it is something resembling actual marshmallows, like fluff, and I love it! I wish there was more caramel & marshmallow, but overall I’m impressed. Doughboy approved 😋

I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough.
