“Outstanding takeout Chinese food. Simple, well prepared and delicious. Prices are reasonable. Their soups are a standout, but we have never been disappointed with any of our many orders from here. Great Chinese food at reasonable prices.“

“All you can eat hot pot and sushi for only $30 at dinner is a pretty great deal.

Hot pot bases were good, especially the spicy one. Selection of items to cook was not bad. Seafood looked pretty fresh and scallops were good. The beef was okay, but the meat wasn’t the freshest for some options but not to the point of smelling or anything.

Good noodle and veggie items. Only complaint was wish there was better dessert options as there were just grapes and watermelons.

The sushi was very good. We were very surprised that all you can eat sushi was included and will order more next time.

“This is a strictly take out/ delivery place so there is no dine in option. The storefront is purely functional and serves as semi storage for restaurant materials. That said, the food is good. I had a bad experience here maybe 12 years ago but it has clearly changed ownership and chefs since then. The food here is SOLID for that nostalgic American Chinese food! The hot and sour soup is epitome of what it should be (I was raised in my parents’ Chinese restaurants so I know) and the fried wing appetizers are terrific. My kids are obsessed. We also always get General Tso’s Chicken which every kid loves. I’ve also enjoyed Singapore noodles and Indonesian fried chicken ice here. Super glad to have a decent Chinese takeout in my neighborhood!“

“We had a reservation for 7 - in the notes I specified 6 adults and a high chair. I could see our table had 7 adult seating's so I had to ask the hostess to fix that. Also specified we were there for a birthday celebration, again those notes must not make their way to the actual restaurant or they don't read them. When we checked in (we were 14 minutes early) for our reservation we were told we couldn't be seated until our actual reservation time. The restaurant had plenty of help and we didn't have our complete party with us which they knew and we were not expecting to order right away rather we just wanted to sit and relax. We come here often and even visited for Christmas dinner last year — our experience is consistently exceptional.

Right off the bat this place is CLEAN. Floors, tables, everything is really tidy and sanitary.
You'll be brought a pot complimentary jasmine tea right away which is heavenly. Truly the best jasmine tea I've had; not even remotely bitter tasting like other green teas. They must brew it very carefully.

The service is always speedy too, regardless of how busy it is, every time we are surprised by how quickly our fresh food is ready! They’re efficient in the kitchen.

Our favorite thing on the menu is the Garlic Fried Sole fish! It melts in your mouth and the portion size is massive so it's a perfect entree to split.

The Asia Mall is fun to check out before or after dinner; we like to walk around the market afterward and take home some milk teas and candy. Parking is easy with the lot out front.

This really is a great destination; ever since Pagoda moved to Roseville we’d been missing our favorite Cantonese dishes and HomeTaste is easily the best Cantonese / Chinese food in the western part of the twin cities.“

“For the one in Plymouth Minnesota, FINALLY some sweet tea. If you live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, you know, findind a place that sells sweet tea is hard. As if there was a sugar shortage in the area. Anyway!
The service was great. They do have regular unsweetened tea here, but when i told them what i was looking for, they pointed out their signature SWEET tea. Foood & all is Food & will be going back.“

“A native Chinese and I dined Saturday night inside, although there were more take-outs than dine-in. The Singapore noodles, spicy bamboo tips, lamb Beijing style, Sichuan seared long beans all were excellent. Highly recommend, great friendly service!“

Great egg and vegetable rolls (crisp and very flavorful). The vegetable fried rice was really great with big chunks of vegetables. “I stumbled on this place accidentally ?I was going to rainbow and then met “The Cookie Man” and he told me that they sell his cookies at this restaurant so I was only going to the store for the cookies but then the other day I asked a customer how was the food, the man said it was the best fried rice in Minneapolis. I said “what, it hits like that, I got to try it…” and I did. Now for my beautiful ladies with babies, y’all know how it is when a craving hits and you like “it better be on point or else!” I ordered a small order of the shrimp fried rice and although it is simple without all the mixed vegetables and such it is very good. I got to the car food was fresh, I mean burn your mouth fresh, took the first bite and it reminded me of this amazing restaurant we HAD back home called King Fong in downtown Omaha. It was the best fried rice. ??????This is a runner up. So that says a lot. Anybody that know about King Fong in Omaha know about King Fong! ???

Anyways the service is good, speedy and I have not had a problem always nice and friendly and they laugh when I order only cookies previously but now…ordering the cookies and the fried rice. Oh for those that are into the details like that of the dish it is brown rice (I believe it is colored with flavored additives). It has white and green onions, eggs and bean sprouts again simple but comparable to a lot of fried rice that has to add all the extra fixings just to give it flavor this place is great for minimal ingredients with a mouthful of flavor. Don’t even need to add the soy sauce. Again my review is specific to the shrimp fried rice and cookies. Happy eating y’all!

Parking: Parking can be chaotic especially on weekends which is when I have experienced trouble.“

“A year ago I had an allergic reaction to shrimp, so I stopped eating shrimp. Today my wife ordered me wings tossed in Oyster sauce. I didn't think much of it. After two wings, I had the same allergy symptoms as I had with shrimp a year ago. I guess I developed a shellfish allergy in my adulthood.

“Through some growing pains of new ownership, this remains the best Chinese takeout option in Maple Grove, no contest. The fried rice is Thai style, and delicious! Sesame chicken is different than anywhere else, crispy and sweet but also a bit of heat. Cream cheese wontons and egg rolls have been just okay, but everything else has been great. We still love Yu Fong! The new owners have made a real effort to connect with their customers and we see that and appreciate it!“

We live 35 minutes south of Mpls and this is the only Chinese takeout my family will have cuz they’re that GOOD!!!
Fresh, Real Chix breast chunks and a delicious sauce combined to make the most consistent dish we’ve ever had.

“I recently started low carb and assumed there would be nothing for me at Leann Chin. However the Thai Chicken Coconut Curry is excellent and is listed at zero carbs. It was so good that I didn't even miss the rice. I hope to go again soon.“

“Was shopping in ridgedale and wasn’t able to find something I wanted to eat.. then the smell of orange chicken hit my nose.. looked over and saw Leann Chin calling my name. Must of been fate, as I walked up to look at the food choice the lady working up front came from the back with a fresh pan of orange chicken.. seeing that sealed the deal!! I ordered the orange chicken with noodles and fried rice, got a soda as well. The prices are decent but the food was great! Fresh tasting and quick. Having this made the rest of my day go well.
