“Food was nicely presented and tasty. The dessert was fantastic. Didn't have any non-alcoholic options to pair with dinner.
Biggest negative was how loud it was in the dining room. We felt like our servers were yelling to present the dish. It was uncomfortable how loud the room was with only 20 or so people in there. I felt it really made the dining experience rather chaotic. My companions and I were unable to have an awesome experience due to the noise.“

“We had a fabulous dinner with another couple. Food was great, table was great, service was very good. Disappointed that no staff told us that 26% charges were automatically included. My fault for not inspecting the itemized bill closer i would have expected staff to share that a 21% gratuity was already included (not to mention an additional “administrative “ fee was also included) before I added an additional 20% gratuity.“

“Food, atmosphere, and drinks were all fantastic. The Owner/Chef Joel has created something special at this gem nestled in a Minneapolis neighborhood. We had a large party for a friends pre-wedding dinner and the staff handled it great. From the apps to the desert, you can’t go wrong with anything you pick off the menu. We were all tasting each others food by the end of the night wanting to try EVERYTHING! Some have stated a smaller menu and prices, but then say the food blew them away…I for one like to pay to keep amazing food and ingredients an option. Can’t wait to bring my wife and other family members in the Twin Cities to do it again.“

We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. “Living nearby, I know they’re a busy place, so a cold, snowy Sunday was the perfect day to try their brunch. The food, and the minimal crowd, were delightful! “-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

“My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

“Food was very good. My mom got the shrimp lemon and chicken pasta which was FANTASTIC 10/10 on that. My dad got the pot roast stroganoff which was also fantastic another 10/10. I got the prime rib French dip which the sandwich was fantastic, however the au jus was very bland which was disappointing. The tater tots were awesome. Would definitely eat here again!!“

“The renovated space feels like a resort-style retreat—beautiful, calm, and incredibly relaxing. We absolutely loved the atmosphere. We were also blessed with an amazing server, Sophie—attentive, quick, and always greeting us with a genuine smile. After reading some mixed reviews, I feel especially grateful we had such a great experience, particularly since we hadn't been back in over a year. The food was excellent. I had the Thai steak, and my wife ordered the chicken rice bowl—both were delicious and well-prepared. They also have a full bar with a solid wine selection and plenty of great non-alcoholic options. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back!“

“In Fargo, service is not great. i had one bite of my meal and told waiter he could take it. He never asked why, if anything was wrong, just grabbed it and walked away. Any one can buy great ingredients and high end products, but can you make sidewalk grass , spruce pine , lingcod , wildrice and strawberry taste good ?(Not a real dish just something off top of my head) That's talented and worth talking about , the folks here have talent. “I love the interior design, service, and food here. I also appreciate the interesting menu selections, which offer more variety than other spots in St Louis Park. This is a great place for a date, a girls' brunch, or even a corporate meeting. My mom use to order the duck sandwich, which unfortunately is not on the menu anymore. She tried the Kimchi bowl instead and enjoyed it. My favorite is the chicken Mediterranean wrap—the chicken is such great quality, and they're really generous with the portion size! I also recommend the ratatouille, chicken wings, chicken apple sandwich, fresh espresso martini, and hummus platter.“
