“10/24/2020 6:03pm So happy to have Jersey mikes in town! This is my 3rd time at this current location, first time going into the shop rather then just ordering online! But tonight was by far the most bizarre experience. To start, the young lady at the register was using the plexiglass as a Mirror to re-braid her hair! Legit took the ponytail/binder out of her hair pulled the hair off the ponytail/binder, set it on the counter rang a costumer up and then re-braided her hair!!! (I’m a former employee of a subway, I was shocked!) We had a large order, it’s a new place in town, chaotic. I then got some tomatoes that shoulda been disregarded, never served. I still tipped 10% because I appreciate them being busy and new but tonight was by far mind blowing!“

“Definitely depends on the worker. One calls people “honey” all the time and spends more time talking about her personal life than making sandwiches. A few others are just slow and don’t know the difference between mayonnaise and pickles. Some of them are fast and super helpful. Definitely better off going for lunch during the week. Wouldn’t go at night on weekends.“

I asked questions, I asked for suggestions, and all of which were met with details and a smile 😬 My food was up and completed within 15 minutes ⏰ Talk about speedy!! There was ample seating for a well lit dining experience 🪑 I was on the run but quickly hit the breaks once the owner, Mira came out from the back to personally introduce herself and hand me the food 🍲 A personable and hard working business owner who takes time to lovingly prepare the food herself 🤯🤯 I felt like I lived in the neighborhood for years 🏡 Me being a very picky person when it comes to food 🍱 couldn’t say enough about everything that I tried once I got home 😊👌🏽 it was recommended by the staff at the counter to air fry the french fries at home for the best reheating experience, and that’s exactly what i did 😍😍 Most of the food was still warm by the time I made my drive back to the house so we’re talking FRESH FRESH 💦 The meat in the Mac & Cheese Shawerma was NEXT level!!! Off the grill taste and Smokiness ⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️ The drinks i had didnt last long enough for me to get pictures of 🤷🏽‍♂️🧋So you know it was top tier as well 😬 I don’t often do food reviews anymore, but this place has inspired me!!! Like the terminator said, “I’ll be back” 🏃🏽‍♂️💨💨“

“We have been going here since it opened and is always pretty good they do tend to mess up the ingredients on the subs alot I did complain once and received free subs from the manager I think but can't redeem on account no one at the store knows about it so we just pay for our food I see they are opening one in stillwater may give that one a try.“

“I’ve been hooked on Charley’s for about 2-3 years now. I first discovered them 2-3 years back. I had just finished visiting the petting zoo they have at the Maplewood Mall that I’d also highly recommend. I grabbed Charley’s for lunch & I’ve been a faithful returning customer ever since. I had some today & like clockwork it did not disappoint. Only thing I’d tell people to watch for is they rotate new items on & off the menu. So today they have a Mexicali I’ve gotten in the past that wasn’t available today. Still tasty what I did decide on just not what I initially intended on eating.“

“Clean atmosphere, lots of seating around, good sandwiches, and generous portions, but the staff isnt friendly/happy. They dont say hello when you walk in and I don’t think I ever saw any of them smile once but hey, I guess that what to expect when you work at a sandwich shop. They need some music in there to cheer those kids up.“

She was so personable, hard working and extremely dedicated to making sure customers were helped in an extremely timely manner given she was the only staff member. “The woman who took my order was SO HAPPY AND SWEET! She actually was unsure of how to apply my reward to my order before paying but the person I assume was the manager quickly was at her side showing her how to do it. My sandwich was ready before I even paid, which was a very short amount of time. Plus, it is absolutely delicious! Some of the best roast beef I’ve had in a while and neatly made. Oh, and the woman I initially encountered complimented my dress on the way out, which wasn’t part of her job but made my experience even better. The whole crew made my sunny day off even sunnier!!!
