“First time visit to this location. Shoutout to Lexi for being friendly and energetic. She double checked the order every step: toppings add/removed, toasted, needing a drink carrier, etc. Hit every mark for making sure the order was correct. I saw the manager quickly respond when called for (to receive a delivery) and the man doing bike delivery got on register and assisted the next customers promptly when he arrived back. Really nice to see the team was in good spirits and invested with their work quality. Thank you Lexi!“

“This is the best Jimmy John’s and I am truly sorry to a couple other stores for saying that. Hayley made my sandwich so fast that I, quite frankly, wasn’t “freaked” out, I was almost in shock! I suggest the JJBLT, a uniquely delicious BLT, for a great meal full of good protein & flavor. Order a side of ranch to dip your sandwich for added yumminess. The store is pleasant with huge windows allowing for natural light & good views of bustling downtown Mpls. The staff are always kind & will assist the ordering process. “You got my order wrong which I placed to be during my lunch break. Tuna??? pffft Why would I ever order such a wretched vile combination. Fish and bread should only come together in the form of fried sticks; But I digress.You managed to correct my order and have it on my desk before my lunch break was over. Zachary, all is forgiven sir, and I do hope you didn't catch too much crap over this. To all the awesome staff of the University Ave location I say JOB WELL DONE. “Always a good experience coming to this Jimmy Johns, rarely have any issues at all. Sandwiches are always good, Big John is the best, easily, gotta leave the bread in though!They should probably add a handicap button on the door though, some people could have serious issues opening the door!“

“I ordered by phone call and everything went smoothly. Employees were nice. It took awhile to get my food, but turned out that it was a miscommunication between the addresses. They remade the order and still gave us the first one. The delivery lady was very sweet, and noticed she ride to our apartment complex twice to try and find us. Bless her heart! “Not the worst location I've been to, though I was stared down by a group of blue collar workers who lit their cigarettes outside my car. I got what I ordered, which is already doing better than the Erberts&Gerberts across the street. I am obsessed with the smoked cheddar bourbon club, all it needs is onions and it easily replaces my usual order of Italian Night Club unless I'm craving protein. This location gave the perfect amount of sauce.“
