40 Best Coffee Shops near Mound

“This was my first experience at this coffee shop. The staff there were amazing, super friendly, very helpful for I was indecisive on what to order. The flavor of my mocha was so delicious and smooth and creamy definitely could become an addiction for I would drink that all day every day.“

“Great place for lots of awesome coffee and some wholesome treats. The pecan roll is very tasty, but there lots of options. Nice and friendly staff, and plenty of seating. I would recommend this unique bakery and coffee shop if you are in the City of Victoria“

“I got routed here due to road construction and was cursing my path at every turn, but when I walked in the door I was greeted with a sumptuous array of pottery and a gobstopping number of their signature mochas. then I came upstairs and found not one, not two, not three- but four separate seating areas all lit by natural light and beautiful colors!
WORTH THE DRIVE, PEOPLE!“

“I’ve been here half a dozen times (parking is kinda difficult lately due to all the construction). I’ve brought friends here. I’ve had the best time, best coffee, and best almond croissants. Sitting outside - front or back - is always a treat. Now that my bicycle is fixed, I can come more often. Love this place!“

“Great food, great atmosphere“

“I love EVERYTHING about this place!! It’s also very consistent in the way they make everything!!“

“Wonderful place with a great name. Lots of seating in nooks throughout with cute plant decor make this a special place to stop and share a meal/coffee or wine with a friend or family. We rented out for an after hours celebration for a 60th bday and it was perfect!“

“Serious Coffee Connoisseurs! Variety of organic high quality international beans roasted to perfection ☕👍“

“I was help this morning by a lovely lady named Jill. She was so energetic and it was nice to see a smiling face earlier than 8 AM. She helped me fiddle with my gift card and was patient with me and appreciate the excellent service. And the drink was delicious as always too. Thank you, Jill!“

“I picked up an apple fritter at 6:00 am this morning. It was the best apple fritter I’ve ever eaten. It was still warm in the middle, crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. Delicious! The Spanish Latte was amazing too. 10 out of 10. Loved it!“

“Nice crew. My only complaint is that in the mornings ( the two times I’ve been in there at 6:15-6:30) it’s like they are still setting up. I’ve had to wait while pots are started, things stocked. I would think that should all be done before the doors open.
I have eaten in the dining area and it’s a great space. Nice coffee house vibe.“

“I love having this addition to the neighborhood! It is so easy to place my order on the app and just drive up and pick up my order. While I'm there I often stop and get a couple of groceries as well. Clean, friendly, not overly crowded, and lots of seating in the upper level.

Parking: I have been there several times in the morning and have never had a problem finding plenty of parking.“

“I go to this Caribou often to work on my computer and have warm interactions with the staff every time! My drinks are made to my liking, and if there are any issues they get corrected with a smile and no questions asked. I highly recommend this Caribou location!“

“Only thing that would make it five stars is speed! They can be a little slow at times due to how payments are captured at the drive thru and the awkward tipping questions as they hold the credit card machine. I think they need to improve this and make it simpler for customers and employees. Other than that 4 stars all the way!“

“A cute little space with a fireplace, seasonal decorations, paintings on the walls, free WiFi, a diverse menu, group seating and individual seating, cold drinks in a fridge, customer bathroom, children's art, bulletin board for community flyers, a water dispenser, checkerboard table with checkers (recycled bottle caps), etc. My baristas were extremely friendly and service was quick. Caramel frappe was delicious. They feature local art vendors and I purchased an adorable pair of earrings. If I lived here, I would be in this coffee shop every single week.“

“The girls here are wonderful. Best service I have had . They the friendliest and quickest. They also have been very accommodating for special orders and get them right!!!They outdo any of the others I have been to. Those places could take some lessons from this caribou“

“Free wifi! (doesn’t appear that you have to order food)! If you want to dine in, unfortunately, the tables/booths are usually occupied with solo surfers. Only the drive-through seems busy. It’s like a library with coffee if you want that, or not.“

“I’ve tried so many smoothie recipes over the years, but this one is on another level. You can tell it was actually designed by someone who understands nutrition — it’s not just fruit and sugar in a cup. I love that it’s packed with protein and greens but still tastes amazing, no chalky texture or weird aftertaste. I’ve been having it for breakfast three times a week and genuinely notice a difference in my energy levels by mid-morning. Easy to make, keeps me full for hours, and my kids even like it (which says a lot). Highly recommend if you want something that actually fuels your day instead of just tasting good for five minutes!“

“One on my favorite breweries, they have great beer, friendly staff, and fun times. The brewery is very community centric, and dog friendly. There are two patios, one that is out front of the building and the other in updstairs. The upstairs patio is very quite and one the best kept secrets in Shakopee. The beers are great, the Hazy IPA is incredible and the Mexican lager is amazing. There is a reason these beers keep wining in the MN brewer's cup.“

“Overall, a good experience. My order came out in chunks, which was a little odd since it usually comes out all at once, but they were very good at making eye contact and letting me know that my coffee was ready. I did have one con: I asked for extra hot sauce but wasn't given any. I went to the counter, and she happily gave me two more packets with zero complaints or attitude, making sure I didn't feel like a burden. So, overall, it was a good experience.“

“Best kept secret in the west metro! This is such a treasure!“

“A huge shoutout to the gal who took my order this morning! She truly made my whole day with the great conversation we had at the drive-thru window. My coffee was hot, the food was delicious, and the customer service was hands down the best. Thank you for starting my day off with kindness, positivity, and such a wonderful conversation. It meant more than you know!“

“This is our local Caribou and it is always a favorite! I have never been disappointed by something I’ve gotten here. The staff is also extremely friendly and accommodating! In this photo is the cookies and cream cooler and the white chocolate pumpkin cooler. Both were amazing!! Pumpkin cooler is pretty sweet, while the cookies and cream is a bit less sweet. Highly recommend! :)“

“I love this Caribou. Always a great cup of coffee. I really enjoy chatting with the staff and they are always friendly.“

“A great place to meet with friends.“

“The host and server was very friendly, knowledgeable and funny!

He was patient while we chose our entries and gave use recommendations.

We ordered the salmon scramble and the stuffed poblano pepper.
The stuffed poblano pepper was a stuffed poblano between tortilla covered with cheese and salsa with hash brown side.

I wanted pancakes but have to watch my sugar intake so the stuffed poblano pepper was perfect, I later realized it didn’t spike my sugars.

I originally went to the Eagan location and ordered their monkey pancakes which were soooooo delicious too.

Would recommend!“

“Delicious pastries, great service and atmosphere.“

“I don’t drink Caribou, but I stopped in with my kids to pick up a coffee for their mom. She’s the regular, not me. She has very specific order with special requests. Before I said anything, Suzanne already knew the order. Not my drink… Not a guess… The exact order, exactly how she likes it.

That kind of awareness and attention to detail is rare. I was genuinely impressed. Suzanne made the experience personal, smooth, and memorable.

She absolutely deserves recognition. Caribou, if you’re reading this, Suzanne is the kind of person who makes a difference.“

“I don’t really go here often but every now and then I’ll find a gift card from 2018 in my drawer and then I can justify spending $7 for 250mg caffeine. However whenever I do go the team working is always speedy and extremely friendly. Whenever I pull out 4 gift cards with $0.30-$4 on them the cashiers always look at me like I’m crazy. I don’t know how much is on them. They’ve been in a drawer for 7 years every time I use one it’s like seeing if I won the lottery or if it’s just an empty one I forgot to throw away. Anyways…staff here is great. Coffee is expensive but everything is expensive it’s 2025. They also need to start getting whole milk. 5 stars.“

“Breakfast sandwich and jungle mocha - great combo and free WiFi while I worked!“

“Visiting Delano from Arizona and this wasn't here two years ago. Thanks for the great customer service, food, and coffee!“

“This location is more quite than many of the others and that is one of the reasons I like it. They have plenty of tables inside to sit at, socialize, or work on something. The store is clean and well kept.

The cashiers and baristas are friendly.

My orders have always been accurately filled.

If there is an opportunity for improvement that I've noticed is that guests waiting at the counter are sometimes ignored or deprioritized over cars through the drive-thru. I've had experiences where I was clearly waiting at the counter to have my order taken before somebody pulled up to the menu board outside. The cashier has, on multiple occassions, made me wait while they took the customer at the drive through first and served them. That may be a company policy, but it makes the customers inside feel valued less.“

“I was at this store when it was about to close in 5 minutes. I asked for a dark roast and instead of denying it the lady said she could do a pour over in like 2 minutes. How many folks do we come across that are 100% committed to the last minute during work. A big shout out for Camila! I’d definitely do my best to retain such an employee ???“

“The girls that work at the chaska location are the BEST!! They take time to get to know their customers & are so sweet!!“

“Excellent customer service!!! I received a poorly made drink the other day, and Today the barista made it right. She was the only one working and was handling a lot of guests simultaneously.
Additionally, she continuously remember my name throughout the whole interaction and double checked to make sure that the drink was ok. Thanks!“

“I had a wonderful experience here today, my drink was made quickly and done very well and additionally the staff member Amelia was wonderful and treated me so kindly and asked me how I was and made me feel very special and appreciated making my day, I highly suggest this location to get coffee because the staff here are wonderful kind people that will make your day’s better.“

“Big shout out to my friends at Waconia Starbucks. They truly are all so friendly, funny and I look forward to saying Hi to them when I go. And Sophie loves going there too for her pup cup! Thanks today for Jake who bought my coffee, your the best it made my day!❤️ love my Starbucks friends!! Brigitte“

“I went through and asked for a shaken espresso but I wanted it s’more flavored and Stori was the one who helped me and she was fantastic. She was so sweet and helpful and my drink was the just the way I pictured it. The only bad part was I didn’t have cash to tip her but it was the best experience I’ve had at a Starbucks in a long time.“

“Wendy was fantastic! It was awesome to watch another barista make my sister a clover coffee too!❤️“
