“Solomon's Bakery is a regular at the Linden Hills Farmers' Market on Sundays. Every week I'm impressed by their high quality and creative pastries/treats/loaves. This week they had the most delicious pineapple sweet roll - please make this one again!“

“Came on a Saturday at 2pm and was a little sad to see that they didn’t have any of the vegan loaves of bread, but did get a baguette (contains egg) and it was realllllly good. Everyone knows that gluten free bread is not the same as gluten-filled bread, but this baguette had a nice amount of crunch to the outside and it was perfect with soup. Wish they had more vegan options available as not everyone in our family can have dairy and eggs. But absolutely will be back to hopefully snag some more gf goodies again soon!“

Our favorite 5-star server is Laurie, who remembers us, greets us with a smile and thanks us whenever we show up. “So, I’ve had unpredictable bouts of constipation throughout my life. I remember receiving enemas that were meant for elderly individuals when I was 8 or 9. When I attended this restaurant, I haven’t had a bowel movement in around 2-3 days. Previously before that I required stimulant laxatives, which creates muscle contractions to force waste out of your anus. I tried a basic cheeseburger with a side of fries, and a raspberry peach iced tea. As soon as I finished my meal, I felt it. The rumbling that signals such an impending cloud of doom in your stomach, causing your heart to metaphorically drop 50 feet from my chest. I drove home, as I didn’t feel it appropriate to require Perkins to call in a biohazard crew to wall off the women’s restroom. Immediately I rushed down to the toilet, and unleashed hell. 3 days worth of regularly eaten-and-digested goodness exploded out of my bottom like a flood gate- It was indescribable the stench, it could probably harm a small child. Like not normal fecal matter, something radioactive and potent enough to kill a rodent. It was half liquid and half solid as it endlessly exited it’s swollen, dark tomb. I have never felt such relief, and from the most unlikely of places. Thank you, Perkins. May our stars cross again someday when I need to take a giant gorilla dump.“

“THIS IS NO RUN-OF-THE-MILL, REGULAR-SHMEGULAR BAKERY!!! This bakery has the BEST pies and donuts you’ve ever tasted in your whole entire life. I know what you’re thinking, “How good can pie really be? Is it really THAT much better than a gas station donut?” Well, I promise you that the baked goods at this establishment are truly exceptional. In fact, we moved almost an hour away and still drive back to use this bakery for special occasions. I only wish their hours of operation were better (after work on weekdays and longer on weekends!) I'm not the biggest fan of the coffee, simply due to the limitations offered. There isn't really any speciality drinks offered, so if you're good with the expected kinds of options (i.e. espresso, mocha, tea, black, etc;) it should be no problem.“

“We had Nothing Bundt Cakes for our wedding desserts for our wedding day on 3/1/25 and we had a great experience! We ordered cupcake-sized Bundtinis and an 8'' wedding cake. We ordered a month in advance to avoid any stress about the desert plans. When we came to pick up the order the day before the wedding, the employees were kind and had everything packaged up and ready to go. The Bundtinis looked adorable on our dessert table and were a big hit with our guests, they were all eaten by the end of the night. Our wedding cake was so delicious, we will definitely come back for more cakes in the future!“

Excellent selection of flavors, although I suspect there may not be much that's "natural" about the colors and flavors.

But for an occasional treat, they are fantastic! No shortage of sweetness, and the texture was to die for.

There are some reviews that mention a less than stellar texture which should only be the case if you wait a day or more to eat them.

I ordered two 10-packs as gifts and a bag of 4 of their "broken" macarons to try.
Day 1: INCREDIBLE.
Day 2: not so incredible. They seemed to dry out quickly. But if you eat same day, I am confident you will not be disappointed!
