“This little coffee shop has now been taken over and moved into the Wicked Wort Brewery on main street in DT Robbinsdale
They have a nice selection of fancy coffees, some baked goods and a small section of ice creams
I absolutely loved the Kitty Kat flavor of vanilla, raspberry swirls and chocolate chunks
Service was great!“

“Normally, this Starbucks frustrates me and I give up on getting coffee. Today, the line was short. Gabe was so kind when he took my order. And, the sweet young woman at the window was understanding when my chip card wouldn't work. Today made up for so many bad experiences and my coffee was delicious. Thank you.“

“This place is absolutely amazing the people here are so personable and the manager is absolutely sweet and so helpful I go to this place two times a day sometimes three early in the morning after the kids go to the bus, before work, and of course after work. They know that I always will get there right before they close and they still help me. Haley and I'm sure I'm spelling her name wrong is the most helpful most awesome Barista they have there it's like a second home to me LOL“

“So I was at the McDonald's in Robbinsdale, I order Zacks food. I pull up to the pay window, the young lady at the window (her name is Asianay) gives me my total. She hands me my card back. Leans in close to the car and says, can I ask you did you have cancer or you just shave your hair off. I told her I have cancer now. She then says to me you are going to be just fine. We chatted for another minute and I pull you the next window and get my food. I drove off and started to cry. Why? Because it was nice to have a stranger (young one at that) ask me that and not look away quick when I look at them. To have her say the kind things she said to me was so nice and refreshing. Thank you Asianay thank you for having such a kind and beautiful soul ❣️“

“On a bike ride off the Minnehaha Parkway, we happened upon Heathers on a warm end-of-summer day. We walked in and ordered a nice beer on tap and relished in their fresh-cut romantic flowers in vases on their outdoor patio tabletops.

The dilly ranch, savory and tantalizing, made the Blackened Salmon Dilly Ranch Salad, a delicate and sumptuous salad of gem lettuce, crunchy radish, fresh avocado and cucumber, sunflower seeds, and pickled onions.

The saucy sumptuous teriyaki made the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, a piquant mouthfeel, a delight of bright green edamame, brilliant pink pickle onions, avocado, rice and fresh broccoli. Delicious!“

“Stopped in for a late lunch on the patio. Was interested in a bitters & soda and the server recommended mixing the rhubarb and cardamom, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed that with the Chix Correa sandwich and a side salad. Wow! Really creative flavors and well-executed. Could tell everything was made from scratch and with high quality ingredients and care. Also the decor was fun and hip, the music top-notch, and the staff kind. I look forward to coming back soon!“

“Found this little gem this morning with a friend and I think it’s my new go-to coffee shop with other moms when we have to bring our kiddos! As a mom of a toddler, it can be really hard to expect my son to stay sitting while I try to enjoy a coffee with a friend but this place has incredible coffee and food, incredible customer service, and an amazing play area to let the kiddos roam while you enjoy time with a friend!! “Only been here twice so far. Absolutely loved the biscuit egg, sausage sandwich. Absolutely loved the breakfast burrito. Great flavor in both. Great conversation with the owner. The burrito looked small but picking it up, it was heavy!! Great flavor, I'm thinking the beans were well seasoned. Didn't get the chorizo spicy flavor, but that's ok. I could see the meat in the wrap. They know how to make a killer biscuit. It was light, fluffy, and very flavorful. I hear their Cuban is supposed to be good, probably what I will try next.“

Cardamom Cortado was amazing, super strong and tastey with the perfect ratio and temp. The guy behind the counter definitely knows what he's doing because I'd come back again for just a cup of coffee here.“

“I think the service and atmosphere is great, the space is bright and comfortable. I believe they had plugs for the laptops and plenty of tables. I did deduct a star because they do not offer your typical coffee house offerings, they seem more in tune with what you would find in a caribou coffee. I ordered a breve which should be equal parts expresso and half-half, but mine had 4x the amount of dairy.“

“Since moving to uptown about 2 years ago, I’ve been on the hunt for the best vanilla latte in the area. I’ve tried dozens of places and measure the latte on taste, sizing, price, and drink-to-ice ratio. This cafe takes 1st for me. It is absolutely the best vanilla latte I have had in uptown, and I’ve been here a few times so it wasn’t just a one-time experience! The latte is extremely reasonably priced and sized, it’s never too sweet, and it is super delicious. The staff here are SO sweet, AND the cafe is right next to my favorite bookstore!! The first time I went, someone even stopped me on the street to ask where I got my coffee. It’s that good ❤️“

Although George Floyd square and the surrounding community have been impacted in so many ways, they have shown resilence and what it means to stand together. Bichota Cafe is a prime example of great leadership that have purposed in their hearts, that through all that has happened they believe something beautiful can be birthed. Bichota cafe brings family, friends, different ethnic backgrounds which ultimatley speak unity and diversity. This place is growing and will be very succesful in the years to come.
